If God wanted a better world then why not start over?

Why would a God so powerful and great leave us in the world to eat dirt all our days?
Maybe it wasn't right to put you on a pedestal and the stories of your greatness are just legends like the rest.
Made in YOUR image you said, why then do you not think like me?
Is the devil such a powerful adversary that you were forced to flee
Or are you watching us on the big screen TV, enjoying the show presented to thee.
Is the suffering in the world pleasing to you?

Centuries have passed and the devil's way does not work. Is it not time to reclaim this earth?
This love that Jesus had for us, where did it go?
Cause dying for someone isn't as hard as the movies show.
Those who stand by and do nothing are just as guilty as those committing the acts.
I will not judge, for I am in no place.
But I will say this, I long for the day I see your face.
