"Haww!! How mean chowmein, you threw it in the dustbin??"

"Not really Ms Mehra, I mean I gave it to Khanna."

"Still, I gave it to you!! anyways your wish but you missed one of the best things in life. Your loss!!"

"No problem Ms Mehra, my company can handle this much loss."

Shivaay kept his phone aside after typing the message, and a small smile crept on his face.

"It was so easy to lie to you Ms Mehra, but why do I care also??" Shivaay thought to himself, as it was bolted out of blue.

He went to the flashback,

FLASHBACK

When he was just entering the car, his phone rang. After talking to Ajay the head chef of Oberoi Mansion, Shivaay got to know that all family members are dining out, he is the only remaining so Jhanvi asked Ajay to ask Shivaay what he wanted to have.

But to his surprise he asked Ajay to not make anything, he will manage by himself.

And when he reached home he directly went to his room, and went to freshen up.

When he came back he saw the packet which he kept on the table before going to freshen up, he took the packet and opened it.

After taking out and examining it from all sides.

"Oh gosh!! Too oily!!", frowning a little bit, he got tissue paper to remove extra oil."

After examining again he had a bite, and his taste buds enjoyed it, but he is SSO who will not admit that it tastes good.

"Oh Gosh I am late again", said Annika while increasing her pace. Who was late for the office.

Before she could move to the lift she collided with someone.

"I am sorry", and when she looked at the person.

"Arrey Khanna ji aap?? What are you doing here, where is your boss??"

"He is at one of the construction sites and will come in the afternoon."

Nodding her head in relief as she is safe from bagadbilla she started moving but she stopped in her tracks and called him again.

"Khanna ji, did you like the vada pav?? I am sure you have liked it. You know that you should tell your boss that he should also taste it. It will surely taste better than that kaali coffee."

Khanna was so bewildered to even respond he was like which vada pav?

"Ma'am I didn't follow you."

"Arrey, haven't you got that vada pav which I gave to your sir but your sir told me he gave it to you?"

"No ma'am he didn't gave me anything"

Annika was surprised and confused why that guy lied to her, how dare he. Now she wants to know what he did with that packet.

Muttering bye she went to her cabin.

Annika waited for Shivaay to come from his construction site, but the guy in question was missing. She was making all the plans to murder him, but all her plans were butchered when she got to know that Shivaay won't be coming to office from his assistant.

All her plans were flopped, and now she lost interest in her work also. So to control her emotion she treated herself with a samosa chat which is just opposite to Oberoi's office.

Soon she started working on her work.

"Thank god Annika I found you here only"

Hearing her name she looked up to see Tej and quickly stood up from her chair.

"Sir you here?? You could have called me?"

"No need for that, you know I am still young and fit."

On this statement both shared a laughter.

"Anyways I am here to give you this."

Tej gave her an envelope, which looked more like an invitation card, she looked at him with curiosity.

"Actually we were sending these invites to all our clients and associates, and since you are our new associate, we would really love that you join my and Jhanvi's 35th wedding anniversary party. At our home."

Annika nodded her head and wished him. Even she promised that she would be on time.

When Tej left Annika sat on her chair with a smirk.

"Now it will be fun!!"

Soon it was evening and the Oberoi mansion was decorated like a royal palace. Everything in the party screams richness.

"Yaar O this party is so boring, isse better toh childhood birthday parties hoti hai.", said Rudra with a sulky face.

"Shut up Rudra!! Firstly remove that frown and keep smiling. It's your parents' anniversary.", said Om while smacking his head.

Rudra made a puppy face.

" So all set??", Shivaay said while fixing his cufflinks.

"Ya Shivaay everything is set, even I have talked with the event incharge also. Everything looks fine."

"Sahi toh lagega na O, after all your eyes were into her only, idhar udhar dhyaan hi nahi tha."

Shivaay narrowed his eyes and looked at Om, who gave him a look 'I -don't- know -what- bakwaas- he- is- saying.'

"Haww don't give these looks O, I swear you were checking her out. Kya naam tha uska gaytri no gaura"

"Gauri", said Om

And both the brothers looked at him, who passed a shivery smile to them.

"It's just that she is unique, what I mean is she is someone whom I have never met before.", said Om with a dreamy tone.

"Ha toh you have not met her before na", Rudra said with the matter of fact tone.

"Shut up Rudra!!", said Shivaay who shaked his head with disbelief.

But his vision went to someone most unexpected, Annika. But when he saw her, he felt a spark and felt his heartbeats increase. He was not able to take his eyes away from her.

She was standing there wearing a red silk sari with a sleeveless blouse. Tied her hair in a bun and just wearing a small necklace and her chand bracelet adorning her hand.

She was standing with a packet in her hand.

Shivaay was so into her that he didn't hear his brother or friend talk. But someone just snapped him out of his lala world.

"What happened bhaiya ?? I was asking you something??"

"Nothing Rudra, I was just looking at the arrangements, that everything is ok and I guess I should just leave as I need to attend the guests also."

Saying this Shivaay ran away from there.

"Something is wrong O, bhaiya is behaving weird."

But when he looked at Om who was standing with an open mouth, Rudra just follow his visions only to scream

"Oh My Maata!!"

Both of them saw Annika standing there, both of them looked at each other and wondered if Shivaay saw her so what will happen??
