It had been 3 days since Shivaay came back to Mumbai, He came that night itself due to an emergency board meeting early the next morning. Since then they have been in touch with each other with chats and calls. They are loving these moments, understanding each other, finding new things about each other, starting smiling more and waiting to meet again.

Today Annika came back to Mumbai, but she had some work in her office so she didn't come to the Oberoi Office.

Ms Mehra, would you like to go out on a date with me?

Annika was dancing in her mind finally!!

Shivaay 1:19 PM: Great!! I will you from your home at 7:30 PM

Shivaay was impatiently ringing the doorbell and correcting his tie again and again.

"Shivaay you, what are you doing here?"asked Omkara, looking at him at his home that too at 5 PM when office hour is going on. He was totally surprised as he knows Shivaay never leave his office so early until there is an emergency.

"I need your help Om", Shivaay said, coming inside his penthouse.

"Ok tell me" Om said, settling in couch, while Shivaay paced from one side to other.

"Shivaay first calm down, and tell me what happened?" he asked, looking at him so nervous.

"Ok" Shivaay said, taking a deep breath, "I am going on a date!! An hour before I was totally ok with it then I realised if I did something which ruin everything and this thought made me so nervous and I couldn't concentrate on anything so I came here"

"Oh my god!! You are going on a date!!I am surprised!!", Shock will be an understatement it was a bombshell or better say atom-bombshell.

"Ok Shivaay first you settle down!!" Om said standing from the couch and making Shivaay sit on the couch.

Once he felt Shivaay was at ease!!

"Ok now tell me with whom are you going on a date?", he asked him

"Annika", he said, closing his eyes.

"Ok this is good good so why are you nervous?"

"I just don't want to fuck up the things." he replied looking tensed

"Ok Shivaay if you like her and she likes you then nothing will go wrong trust me you just need to believe in yourself the same way Annika does on you and trust me Shivaay she likes you a lot I have seen in her eyes, even Gauri says the same to me that you both have some chemistry when she can see it why can't you and getting nervous!! So now Shivaay Singh Oberoi get your ass on and let's get ready for this date."

Shivaay thought on his words and realises he is getting nervous unnecessary he knows Annika for almost a year now and he knows her likes and dislikes too so why he is thinking he will screw it up he need to be positive taking a deep breathe he decided to get ready for date, standing up from the couch,

"Thanks Om!! For giving me a piece of mind or else I would have run away." he said while hugging him.

"Ab dost ko thank you bolega, now come let's go to your house and get you an outfit for your date." he said, hugging back to him.

"What's wrong with this?" Shivaay asked, looking at his full black suit with black tie.

"Because we are not going to a board meeting, come now!!" taking him with him both went to Oberoi mansion

Now Shivaay was standing in front of Annika flat wearing a dark blue t-shirt with black jeans jacket paired with black jeans and holding a bouquet of orchids.

Taking a deep breath he muttered , "Everything is fine you look good, the bouquet smells good and Omkara has looked for the reservation and he has texted the details so everything is good don't overthink. He rang her doorbell. But when she opened the door he was totally surprised to see her.

"Annika what's this??" He asked, looking surprised.

"Shivaay I am really sorry about this, but it's an emergency!!" she asked, rocking a baby in her arms who was crying continuously.

She was still in formal wear and looking extremely tired.

"Ok let me help you" he said, coming inside the house, locking the main door and keeping the bouquet aside.

"Give me the baby, let me try" he said, taking the baby from her hands and tried to coed the small baby who looks around 6 months.

Within five minutes the baby stopped crying and started looking him with her doe eyes.

"How did you do that? I have been trying for the last 20 minutes and she hasn't stopped crying." Annika asked, looking totally surprised.

"I..I don't know even I am surprised" Shivaay said looking at the baby who was now playing with his jacket buttons.

"By the way, whose baby is it?" he asked, settling on the couch with the baby.

"It's Riddhi di daughter. Rivaan injured his head badly falling from stairs so she took him to hospital leaving Riya with me as it would be difficult for her to handle both even Rivaan dad is on tour. So I agreed to take care of Riya for tonight." Annika replied, settling beside him who was totally exhausted.

"Is Rivaan ok now?" he asked her

"Well yes he is fine, just need to stay in hospital for a day" Annika answered.

"I am sorry Shivaay because of me our date got ruined." she said looking at him.

"Hey!! That's ok, this is not bad, it's nice" Shivaay said looking at her and he knows she feels guilty.

"You go and change, you look extremely tired" he requested her.

Annika nodded her head and went to change. Once she came back she saw Riya was sleeping peacefully in Shivaay's arms while he was rocking her slowly.

"She slept." Annika whispered to him.

Shivaay nodded slowly.

"Let's take her to my room" she whispered.

Slowly both of them took Riya to her room and securing her properly they came out and settled outside.

"How did you know how to make the baby stop crying?" she asked curiously.

"I have seen my badi ma and bade papa how they quiet Rudra whenever he used to cry so I know how to do it." He reminisced.

"Well you are really good at it. Next time I am stuck with babysitting duties I am going to call you." She said jokingly.

Shivaay laughed at her, "Trust me I have to come or else you would also start crying, if I wasn't here in the next twenty minutes I am sure you would have started crying."

Annika slapped on his shoulder and joined him in laughing.

"But again I am sorry for tonight." she said to him once they stopped laughing.

"Oh come on Annika this is nice, plus the main purpose of the date is spending time together and we are doing that so this is also date." he said giving her a smile.

"You know this is why I like you, you find positive in every situation" Annika said looking at him

"Only for that?" he asked, coming close to her. Making her breath hitched.

"Well..." Annika stammered due to the proximity of his warm breath falling on her face while hers on him. This is new for both of them.

Seeing her all nervous he came back to his place taking her in arms putting her head on his chest he says, "Well you said that I see positive in everything , but that's wrong it happened when you are with me because an hour ago ask Om how nervous I was about this date." he said to her.

"Why were you nervous?" she asked looking at him

"I don't want to screw it up!! You are special and I don't want to lose you." he said slowly to her.

At that moment they can feel love for each other. Keeping her head more closely to him hearing his heartbeats she says,

"This is nice!!"
