"It was really nice to have lunch with you.", said Jahnvi to Annika. She was impressed with Annika. Her nature, her maturity and the tinge of childness has taken her heart. Within a day Annika became everyone's favourite.

"Even I have enjoyed my time with you all. You all are really amazing people.", she said with a serene smile. She was really happy sitting with them, they all were treating her as their family, which made her a bit emotional. Even before lunch what Shivaay said swoon her heart. She can never imagine that mighty Shivaay Singh Oberoi can say such words, "I will learn it for you." Somewhat she feels she affects Shivaay but she is scared to accept it, maybe avoiding rejections.

Whereas Shivaay was also dazed, why did he say those words to her? It's not that he didn't mean it, he is cent percent sure that he will learn it, in fact he messaged Khanna to get the music notes of 'Tum hi ho' song by tonight.

"Ok dadi, I guess I should leave now. It's really late.", she said with a small smile.

"Puttar, do your parents or siblings are coming to pick you?" dadi asked.

Hearing this her smile faded but soon she covered it , "Ahm no dadi I will book a cab."

But Shivaay noticed her face and he knows something is not correct, he remembered when Annika talked about her father's bike even that time her face showed a wave of sadness and at her home no one was there. At that moment he realised he knew so little about her, yet something of her attracted him.

He came out of his thoughts when he heard his dadi insisting her taking the driver with her.

"If you want Annika I can drop you", Shivaay asked her.

"No..no Shivaay I am completely fine, even I need to pick my car from your office."

"But you are not allowed to drive till the stitches are removed. And regarding your car I will ask someone to drop it at your home. So don't worry about it."

"Arrey but Shivaay, sab pareshan ho jayenge.", she tries to make him understand.

They kept arguing while the whole family was watching them with open mouths.

"Maine bhaiya ko itna bolte hue kabhi nahi dekha", Rudra whispered and the whole family members nodded their heads in shock, trying to understand what was happening here.

"Ok enough both of you, kitna ladte ho tum dono" Dadi stopped both of them.

"Dadi, he was arguing with me." Annika said, pointing towards him.

"Oh really like you haven't said a single word." He gave it back to her.

Before Annika could say something dadi stopped them again.

"Puttar, where is your home?" dadi asked Annika.

"Dadi,Versova." she replied.

"Rudra you are going there na for some work.", dadi asked, looking at him.

"Ya have a meeting regarding investment." he said

"Do one thing, you drop her." dadi suggested.

Rudra nodded his head in agreement.

"No Rudra, I will drop her. You focus on your meeting.", Shivaay objected.

"No bhaiya it is fine with me, in fact I can take some tips from Annika di as she has started her start up too, it's done, come didi I will drop you. Just give me a minute and I will get my files." Rudra said, going towards his room. Shivaay made a grumpy face hearing him as Rudra left no room for argument.

Soon Rudra came with his file and Annika with her purse, and went towards the exit then Shivaay came towards Annika.

"Ah Annika, I need to talk to you" he said looking at her.

"What happened?" She gave a questioning look.

"Actually, ah Rudra till then you take out the car." He said looking at Rudra.

Rudra left, giving teasing looks to Shivaay but he completely ignored it.

"Ahm you take care, and once you reach just message me ...you can call me also and if you need a leave tomorrow you can take it." He said to her, but she can feel care in his tone.

"But tomorrow is Sunday." she said, hiding her smile.

"Sunday!! Tomorrow is sunday" he blabbered.

"No problem if you want you can take leave on monday." he said rubbing his neck.

"Okk I will see." she said with a small smile.

Before he could say anything else Rudra called her.

"Ok bye!!" she said to him.

"Take care and if you need, just call me." he said to her.

Nodding at him, she went towards the car. Shivaay also came there and closed the car's door for her. She waved her hand and soon the car dashed from his sight.

"Come in" Shivaay said when he heard a knock on his cabin door.

Mishra came to inform him of the positive response of Disney HQ after seeing their progress.

After discussing a few more things he dispersed Mishra. He was about to continue his work , and his attention went to his phone.

"I hope she is taking a rest. It had been two hours since she reached home." He wondered looking at his wrist watch.

"Argh!! Shivaay you are thinking about her!!" he closed his eyes in frustration.

"Waise Shivaay what she will be eating for dinner, her cooking maid will come tonight?" he again thinks about her despite his immense try of battling his new budding feelings for her.

Then he realised , "Oh shit!! Today is Saturday, which means her cooking maid will not come. That means she has to cook by herself. No..no I should help her."

He stood up from his chair and called Mishra that he was going home because he had work.

Annika was watching Tom and Jerry and eating chocolate ice cream, while Ozone was sitting beside her and munching on pedigree. When her doorbell rang making her frown, she looked at the clock hanging on the wall.

"It is 7:30 right now, who must be here?" she spoke to herself while wearing her slippers and went towards the door.

" Shivaay you!!", she exclaimed, seeing him standing in front of her in his informals.

She first time saw him in informals he was wearing a black tee and a black track pants and his hair was messy. Even at his home she saw him in his formals and waxed hair. But she scolded herself for her cheapde thoughts. Meanwhile Shivaay found Annika cute in her 'Peanut' nightwear. But seeing her gaze he cleared his throat to grab her attention.

"Ya actually I thought to bring dinner for you" he said showing her the packet.

She let him in.

"I would have managed Shivaay, you have got disturbed too"

"I didn't mind it!!" he said looking at her.

"Even you told me on weekends your cook maid doesn't come so I thought to get you dinner. Where is your kitchen? I will heat up the food."

He said moving ahead but before he could take a step more Ozone started barking on him making him frightened seeing him. He quickly hid behind Annika holding her shoulder.

"Annika, send him away please!!" he asked her timidly.

"Ozo...no Ozo!!", she tries to stop him meanwhile Shivaay didn't loosen his grip on her shoulder.

After a lot of tries Annika made him quiet but he still growled at Shivaay.

"I don't know why he doesn't like me." he said, peeping from her shoulder.

"Are you scared of dogs?" she asked, noticing his grip on her shoulder.

Even though he noticed her sight on his hand he quickly took his hands back.

"Ahh!! I am not scared of dogs...it's just I am not really fond of dogs." he said not looking at her. She narrowed her eyes hearing his answer.

"What I am saying is true!!" he said in an exasperated tone.

"If that is so, just ruffle his hair and prove it to me.", she challenged him.

His eyes bulged out and he said, "He will bite Annika."

"Oh trust me!! He won't bite you in fact if you caress his hair smoothly and see that I am happy with it then he will surely love you. Trust me." she said.

He took a small step towards Ozone, but he started barking on her. And he again goes behind her. She looked at both of them and shook her head in disbelief, taking his hands into her, she moved towards Ozone and asked him to ruffle his hairs.

He timidly bent down and ruffled his hair slowly. Ozone looks at him then at Annika who was smiling at them. He started cuddling with Shivaay and waved his tail showing his love for him.

"Look, I told you he will not bite you!!" she said to him and ruffled Ozone hair in appreciation.

"Ya!!" he muttered, even he was surprised seeing the change in Ozone behaviour. But when Annika was not looking at them he gave an angry stare to him, which made him gulp the lump formed in his throat.

He realised that this dog is smart ass and will behave nice when Annika is in front of him else he is gone. He made a mental note to never meet Ozone alone.

Standing up from there he asked about her kitchen, she took him to the kitchen. He took out tiffins from the packet.

"I hope you are fine with dal rice, actually I thought a light dinner would be fine." he asked, keeping the tiffin inside the microwave for heating.

"Ya I love dal rice" she said to him and went out to bring her ice cream bowl from the living room.

When he saw her eating ice cream he frowned, "Why are you eating ice cream at dinner time and that in winter you will catch cold!!" He scolded her.

"Ice cream khane ka koi time hota hai, waise bhi I was hungry that's why I am eating it." she said the last line with pout.

He shook his head, "She is mad!! But her pout ,uff!!" he thought but he reprimanded himself thinking like that.

Soon food was heated and they settled on the dining table. Shivaay was looking here-there which Annika noticed.

"What happened?", she asked

"Where is Ozone?"

"He must be in the living room, probably watching Tom and jerry!! He loves it."

He nodded his head, and they started their dinner. Annika moaned in pleasure eating the first bite of dal rice.

"Wow, this is really delicious!! I mean even better than lunch!!" she said with a big smile.

Shivaay smiled at her and continued eating his food.

"You know what, you must tell me the chef name so that I can get the recipe, I mean he makes this simple dish also so delicious!!" , she said, taking another bite.

"Well he can teach you how to make it in your kitchen itself." he said.

"Really!! Who is the chef?" she asks in amazement.

"It's me" he said simply, not looking at her.

"What!!" She was stunned.

"Are you serious!! You can cook?" she asked him.

"Ya I sort of love cooking!! I mean you can say it is something I do in my leisure." he said.

She smiled hearing him.

"Well in that case you need to teach me the recipe." she said looking at him and he nodded his head with a small smile.

Soon their dinner got over and while keeping the dishes in the sink they went to the living room seeing Ozo was sleeping and the TV was on.

"Let's go there" Annika pointed towards the balcony. Annika sat on the swing chair while Shivaay sat on the stool kept there.

"Thanks for the dinner!!" she said with a heartfelt smile.

"You don't need to thank me,Annika, after all we are friends Annika." he said smiling warmly.

"Friends," she said with a playful grin

"Are we not friends?" he asked her playfully.

"Well you didn't ask me so how am I supposed to know you are my friend?" she said looking in his eyes, whose shade turns darker listening to her.

"If that's the case then" he stood up from his stool.

He forwarded his hand and asks

"Will you be my friend?"
