Next day

Whole day was normal. In evening, Avu again went to cafe. She saw Vaish already there.

Vaish: Hii. How are you?

Avu: Yee fine

She said not showing any interest.

Avu: Why haven't you changed? Didn't I tell you yesterday change as soon as you come?

Vaish: Yee I remember I just came

She answered with a smile. Avu sighed.

Avu: Ok come then

They both went and put on the uniform and started their work. Vaish was least concentrated on work. Her focus on trying to talk as much as she can with Avu.

Avu: Ugh you are such a slow learner. I don't know why even boss kept you on work

She said in low voice but Vaish heared. She just smiled. Avu understood she heard her. She unwantedly felt sorry.

Vaish: It's ok. You don't have to be guilty. I didn't mind you saying anything

Avu: I would have been really angry if a person has said like that about me on face

Vaish: There are much more things for me to be angry at. These small things don't matter

Avu: Oh. I didn't know

Vaish: It's ok. Just chill

They continued with the work. It was time to leave. They changed to normal clothes.

Vaish: Hey. Today also can you drop me?

Avu: Again?

She asked irritated.

Vaish: Please. I mean we are friends so...

Avu: (cuts her) Hang on. From when the hell did we become friends. Can I know?

Vaish: We work together. And you even dropped me yesterday. So ya we are friends

Avu: When did I say that? Stop assuming things on your own. We just work together. And I help you because you because you request so much. And I don't make friends

Vaish looked down.

Vaish: Ok. I am sorry

Avu: Well ok. Come I will drop you

Vaish: Thanks

She said with a small smile. Avu nodded. Vaish sat behind her and she started scooty.

Vaish: Would you mind telling something about yourself? I mean we work together. Only if you want to

Avu sighed. She told about her college a bit.

Vaish: You don't any friends or anyone?

Avu: Well friends. No I don't really trust anyone. And rest I am alone from childhood. Basically an orphan

Vaish: Oh

She said as she never knew about it. She dropped her outiside her home.

Vaish: Bye. Cya tomorrow

She said waving her hand.

Avu: Bye

She said without looking and left. Vaish was happy with but progress she made and happily told her group.

Next day

Avu reached her cafe. Vaish forwarded a tiffin towards her.

Avu: What's this?

Vaish: You live in hostel na. So I thought to bring homemade food for you

Avu: I don't need all this

Vaish: Please. Maine bohot dil se apne haatho se specially bnaya hai. Don't refuse please. Achha ek baar taste krlo. Na pasand aaya to nhi khana

Avu: I said na I don't want

Vaish: But....

Avu: Can't you understand once?

She said bit coldly. Vaish pulled back tiffin with a sad face. Hurt was clear on her face. Avu tried to ignore and they started their work. Avu noticed Vaish was awfully quite. They finished their work and changed.

Avu: Let's go

Vaish: It's ok. I will manage

She said with teary eyes which she was trying to stop. Avu sighed.

Avu: Ugh

She took a deep breath.

Avu: I am sorry my early behaviour. I never trusted anyone and no one ever brought food like this. Many day scholars bring food for hostelers I have seen. But never for me. We I can't blame them I always pushed everyone away. Well ok you give me that tiffin. I will eat food you brought for me. Now stop crying please

(A/n: Day scholars from our group bring tiffins and we hostellers eat that. And they happily give their tiffins to us. Because also know the condition of mess. And it's actually fun to share tiffins.)

Vaish was shocked. A big smile formed on her face. She took out the tiffin from her bag and handed it to her. Avu reluctantly opened it. As she took the first bite, Vaish was looking at her hoping she would like it. Avu's eyes filled with tears.

Vaish: What happened you didn't like it?

Avu: No. I mean I never got yo eat homemade food. I always used to hear the dialogues no matter whichever chefs food you eat, you will never get the taste like homemade food

Vaish: Yee that's true. That food consists of love which can't be found anywhere else

Avu nodded. She continued eating. She asked Vaish to join. Vaish refused at first but she forced so she agreed. Both sisters had food from same tiffin for first time. Vaish's happiness had no limit.

Avu: Thank you so much

Vaish: I am glad you loved it so much

Avu dropped her and left for her hostel bidding her bye with a smile today.
