The Unexpected Engagement
a/n: Kwon Nara as Lawan Manoban :)
"Lisa! I didn't tell you earlier, I'm engaged."
The news caused the blonde to choke on her ramen, she looked up at her sister with wide eyes.
"I—um, but you just broke up with someone?"
"You're not telling me I should reconsider my decisions, are you?" The cold, warning tone of Lawan's caused Lisa's eyes to shift away nervously.
"N-No! Of course not. It's just, kind of sudden. I didn't expect it..."
"Well I just told you since you're family and all. Get used sleeping here, because my fiancé is taking your room."
"What?" Lisa sat down her bowl of noodles. "You can't be serious."
"It only makes sense for us to live together right? And it's temporary. When Mom and Dad come back from their business trip then they'll get us a separate place to stay."
"Can't he sleep in your room? Why mine? Who even is your fiancé?" Lisa demanded. She already knew the answer, but she needed to hear it from Lawan.
The girl was shady as hell and knew how to trick Lalisa one too many times.
"It's Suho. Your friend's brother? Looks like you two will be in-laws. What fun, am I right?"
"Lawan, why can't he sleep in your room? Why mine?"
"It's indecent for a non-married couple to sleep together!"
"You act like you're a virgin." Lalisa mumbled, Lawan gasped.
"Watch your language miss. Remember I'm older."
"Aren't you rushing things just a bit?"
"You shut the hell up Lisa." She hissed. "You have no right to question what I'm doing. At least I'm not involved in a murder."
"You did not just—" Lisa shot up from her seat. "I'm sick of your bitchy hostile attitude! I'm sick of you! I hate you so much, you know that? You've taken everything I like away from you, because of your stupid selfish ways. You only care about yourself Lawan. Know that, okay? That's all you'll ever be, whether Suho even loves you or not. A selfish cold prick."
She rammed her shoulder violently into Lawan's, storming up the stairs to grab her things.

"Hi." Jisoo squeaked, letting Jin open the door for her. Stepping inside the theater, her hand found its way to intertwine with his.
Small actions like this reminded Jisoo that she was still, very much a child. Although no one did absolutely anything to shield her temporarily from the grown up world, it was nice to get little glimpses of relief like this. She found that her solace was often found in moments with Jin.
The high school girl didn't know how exactly to describe the feeling.
"I hate horror movies. Can we not watch one of those?"
"Aw, I was hoping that would be a tactic to get you to cling onto me." Jin teased, leading her to the ticket kiosk. "How about an action movie then?"
"Maybe 'Oceans 8'? I've been dying to see that."
"So you're into the whole robbery scheme? I'll take note on that." He responded, sliding his credit card through the machine. Snatching the neatly printed tickets, Jin tugged Jisoo over to the corresponding screening room, passing the tickets to the woman at the front desk.
Popcorn bucket in hand, she settled down in a seat with Jin, the reclining chairs of the theater allowing her to lean back comfortably.
"So, about Jungkook's girlfriend...do you have any clue who it is? Because I think I know."
Jin grabbed a handful of popcorn. "I don't, he never talks about her. Asides from that one day."
"I think it's Lisa."
"What? They hate each other!"
"I don't think so. Have you seen them arguing lately?"
"Taehyung did say that he had come to a truce with one of your friends...I just didn't know who."
"And besides, I saw one of his hoodies in her room. I didn't bring it up, because I didn't want Jennie catching on."
"Did you ask her?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"I haven't really gotten around to it. With all this other drama that has been going on, it's been kind of hard."
"Well, I'm glad you still have time for me."
"I always will." Pecking his lips which tasted like butter, Jisoo sighed. "You wouldn't mind helping me study for our calc quiz right?"
"Of course not. I happen to be really good at that subject."
"I know. Which is why I asked you." She snuggled into his shoulder as the movie began to play, hearing him laugh softly under his breath.
"Have you talked to Roa?" She whispered, noticing his mood change once the question was uttered.
"Jin...you have to talk to her!"
"Why should I? Do you know what she put me through before? She forced me into an incest relationship. She liked me more than she should have."
"I know—"
"And you still want me to forgive her?"
"Nevermind." Jisoo mumbled, regretting her words. "Forget I even said anything."
She shifted away uncomfortably, not liking the sour turn of events. He sighed, pulling Jisoo back to him, before kissing her forehead.
"I'm sorry, I know you were just worried for me. I appreciate it, but I'm not ready to speak with her yet. I know Roa hates me for what I said."
"I understand, what she did must've been traumatizing for you." Looking away from Jin, she bit her lip.
"Can we just enjoy the movie?"
"We're in the back row baby, why should we just watch the movie?" Jin teased, Jisoo's face burned up almost instantly.
"There are people here oppa..."
"Not enough for anyone to say anything." He responded coolly before trapping her underneath of him, capturing lips in a slow intoxicating movement.

"Hey Namjoon." Hani greeted, swallowing down the rest of her nervousness. "Didn't think you would be here."
He was silent, before brushing past her in the convenience store, heading into a different isle. She pouted, grabbing the box of painkillers from the shelf, before running after him.
"Why do you always run away? Is this how you deal with all your problems?"
"No. It's just how I deal with you."
"Why can't we be friends Namjoon? Why can't we at least be that?"
"You know damn well what will happen if I become friends with you Hani."
"I still love you!" She weakly called, watching sadly as he paused in his tracks.
"Please don't lie to me."
"I'm not..."
"You don't know what you're saying."
"I know damn well what I'm saying! Listen to me you closed off—you stubborn asshole! Do you really think I just asked you to be my date just because my parents liked you?"
"Yes?"
"Well I didn't! I asked because I still like you!"
"I need space Hani." He pulled away from her hand. "Give me space please."
"How much can I possibly be giving you Namjoon? I've been waiting, waiting endlessly for your heart to change. When will you put our past behind us and start anew?"
"Because our past almost put us in jail. Do you really trust me enough that I won't hurt you again? Do you want to be with a guy who was convicted of a murder?"
"You didn't do anything wrong then Namjoon, whether you were willing to see it logically or not. You were just following orders!"
"I have to go. My mom is waiting for me."
"At this late?" Hani yelled, desperate. She felt like this was her last chance. Namjoon looked over his shoulder, as if he was thinking, before leaving the store.
Hani sighed, hands falling at her sides. Paying for the painkillers she had bought, she let her hair down from the two braids.
It was best just to let him go now. Even though her heart didn't want to...
"Hani." His voice stopped her as she stepped out of the shop, and her voice leaped into her stomach when she felt the same familiar arms wrap around her.
"I want to let go. Help me let go, please."

Jennie sat up from the warm sheet covering her bed, letting her hair fly free from the high ponytail.
Removing her clothes, she slipped on a simple lavender silk bathrobe. She had heard from her parents that Suho was engaged, the news had shocked her.
Of course, she was partially excited that her and Lisa could become in-laws, but the whole thing seemed off, and knowing this town...there probably was something fishy going on.
And definitely knowing her brother, he was probably up to something. But why did it involve Lisa's sister?
She remembered Lawan as Suho's ex girlfriend from high school. Lawan and Suho were a lot like Lisa and Jennie in school, almost like Bonnie and Clyde.
After getting her shower ready, Jennie removed the bathrobe, stepping inside the steaming shower complex.
Jennie was stressed out. Not only trying to keep her friendship with the girls from falling apart, she also had been labeled a suspect for the murder, since she refused to tell anyone where she had been the night of the dance.
The only person who knew was Yoongi, because he was the only one who understood her secret.
And it wasn't just that, Suho was becoming more threatening each day she continued to go to school. She was more than relieved to have him out of the house. Just because she chose to hang with a different crowd than usual.
Why did Suho hate Taehyung so much? Asides from his cold exterior, and rude insults, he seemed like a pretty decent guy. But Jennie would never say that aloud.
Grabbing a towel, she dried her hair, slipping the bathrobe once again on her damp skin.
Pulling back the shower curtains, what awaited Jennie shocked her. Because it was written on the foggy mirror of the bathroom.
I Can See You! :)
So Jennie let out a blood curdling scream.
