So I wanted to write a little "about" page for this story. There are some things I haven't cleared up but that I feel are good to know.
If you have any more questions, comment them and I can either respond, add them here, or make another chapter later.

First off, this universe is sort of modern time in the way that there is still the same technology. However, most societies don't use technology, preferring to do things themselves. And then there is Riku, the most technologically advanced of the nations that came together, which makes bodies for robot souls and replacement parts for other Betweeners (for example, if Cory's lens were to break, the replacement would come from Riku.) There are also still things like cell phones, but they aren't used often.
It also is kind of set in medieval times, as there are knights, queens, and kingdoms.

Second, some people have what can be called "special abilities" or "full potential". I introduced this with Leo, and may or may not have hinted at it with Cory. Leo gets an energy boost and can run through snow without effort when he is in the mountains, where a husky would naturally feel most comfortable. However, not all Anims would have a full potential; another husky Anim in the mountains might be sluggish and tumbling through the snow.
With Betweeners, it's a bit different. Cory, with his camera for a face, can take mental pictures of things (like a photographic memory, but selective), and he can zoom in and out on things around him, like zooming in with a camera. Others like Tommy could have strange, inexplainable abilities like super strength or logic defiance. However, not all Betweeners have abilities.
Some humans have enhanced talents. For example, if someone was normally talented at singing, their talent could be enhanced so that they can project their voice really far without a microphone, or they could learn and sing songs after only a few listens. Human enhanced talents only appear now and then, and if someone, for instance, had enhanced horse riding talents but never got to ride a horse, they wouldn't get a different enhanced talent in its place.

Another thing for those who are reading this for fun or to support me and have no idea who any of these people are, these are gaming youtubers. Although no one (other than Cory) is all that famous, I think of them as my "friends who don't know me". I will reference these guys a lot, so if you don't know anything about them you can still continue reading, but you will be more on your own to figure out the general personalities and stuff.

I may not use them; if I do I may only use them for a few chapters. However, I want this to be Team Shred oriented, so I'm not adding any other YouTubers, and we need more people to drive the plot.
Until I get your submissions, I will be adding my own characters every now and then, such as Leo. However, I am looking forwards to your future contributions!
