I had walked halfway back by the time the scientist woke up. I suppose the jostling of my speed walk might've worn off some of the powder.

"P-put me down!" he yelled in the least intimidating voice ever. I smirked at his accent.

"Listen Bub, I was told to retrieve you and then head back to base. I'm not gonna disobey orders just because you wanna play kidnap victim."

"That's not what I was doing!" he whisper shouted.

Annoyed and slightly interested I set him down. "Alright then, out with it."

He sighed. "What's the bloody point." He whispered before talking louder. "I'm not a Hydra Scientist. I'm an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Not even that. I'm an academy student. I work as a scientist. I'm not even supposed to be in the field! They just needed someone who knew what to do in a lab. Bloody hell! Oh, Jemma's gonna kill me."

He went on like that for several minutes before quieting down to a quiet mumble. I turned my head as I saw movement in the trees.

He wasn't planning on us succeeding. I swore before looking back at the scientist. Sorry Nina. I crossed my arms. "What's your name bub?"

He glanced up at my relaxed stance. I peered into his mind and saw memories of a beautiful woman who he seemed to love. "I'm sorry Jemma, looks like I can't keep that promise."

"Leo. Leo Fitz." He sighed out.

I nodded. "Well Leo. The name's Queenie. Now that we're acquainted, let's get this over with." I rolled my eyes as he flinched.

I pulled my gun from my belt. I spun and shot the three agents that had moved into my sights. I threw Leo over my shoulder. "Time to go."

I quickly ran back to the jet from before. Most of the agents were now awake and pointing weapons at me. "There's no time for this. Move now." I growled. They seemed suprised by my words but still didn't move. I set Leo down and he moved onto the jet where the girl from his memories stood. Several of the agents looked back and forth between us confused.

I pulled my guns from their holsters and turned to fire at the agents that had followed. I noticed one of the experiments that was separate from the rest. I growled and kept firing until a few agents got the best of me and slammed into my back. Injecting my neck with the control serum.

My head began to buzz and my movements began to slow. I kept fighting as hard as I could. I dimly noticed some of the agents begin to fight alongside me.

Eventually the agents backed off. As soon as the coast was clear I collapsed--the serum finally overtaking my system. The last thing I saw was the woman I had knocked out standing over me. Her face impassive.

When I came to the first thing I noticed was the handcuffs around my wrists. Instantly I began to panic. Queenie!  I cried to my other personality. I felt her exhaustion and fatigue hit me like a truck. What is it hun? She groaned. I think they took us. That one statement made Queenie perk up slightly. I'm sorry, I don't think I have the energy to fight. I don't really feel the need for fighting at the moment, I have to admit that I'm a bit curious as to what they plan to do. If anything I do know how to defend us. She hummed. Fine, but if you need me just holler. I breathed out slightly. I focused my mind onto the room I was in. I snorted. The walls and floor seem to be made of vibranium. Seems like they've had their own run ins with some enhanced beings. But I doubt they've had a run in with someone like us before.

I smirked as I heard talking and footsteps resounding near the door; my façade coming up. Soon the door opened and a blad man entered the room. With him was the woman who I've dubbed 'Batons'. I smiled sheepishly at her. She glowered slightly at me. I shrunk into the wall a bit and focused on the bald man infront of me. I leaned back and laid my hands in my lap.

"Care to explain why I'm in a vibranium cell?" I asked sassily.

The bald man merely stood in the center of the room. Slowly the floor rose to show the table that had been hidden in the floor. "What next? A card trick?" I joked. I knew what was going to happen next.

'Batons' brought in a chair from outside. "Sit." the Bald man ordered.

"I am." I snarkily replied. He glared at me. Rolling my eyes, I stood up and sat in the chair.

"Now that that's taken care of." 'Batons' remarked. She stood in front of me and slapped her hands on the table between us. "Tell me Miss Queen. Why did you suddenly decide to switch sides? Hmm? Or are you just a pawn?" she snarled. I snorted.

"Please, if I were a pawn do you think I would have left that salve with your wounded? Put you all to sleep instead of killing you? Brought back the nerd?" I snorted as I heard an indignant 'hey!' resound outside the door. "Sorry Leo." I apologized with a small smile. "My point is, I wanted out of there. I still want my friends out of there;" I sighed. "But as much I hate to admit it, I can't do it alone. You saw how they took me down. I can't go through that every time I search a base for them."

"What exactly are you proposing here?" Baldy asked with a smug look on his face.

I sighed. "I'm asking for help from S.H.I.E.L.D. If you help I'll provide information on Hydra. Maps, plans, weapons, anything I can. All I'm asking for is you to help me get my family back."

Baldy smirked slightly. "I'll have to discuss this with my boss. Until then, Agent Morse will bring you a fresh set of clothes. You are to stay in here until someone comes to get you."

I nodded. He took that as his answer and left. 'Batons' Whose name I now knew as Agent Morse, brought me in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Agent Morse turned around.

Shit. "Umm, Agent Morse was it?" I spoke with a nervous chuckle.

     "What?" She replied exasperated.

"Could you, um, unzip me?" I asked timidly.

  "Uh, sure." She answered unsure.

I braced myself as she unzipped my suit. Only used to fellow experiments touching my back-seeing my scars.

I heard the inevitable gasp as she saw my scars, the fresh wounds from only a few days ago. I calmly stepped away and pulled the suit off, wincing slightly as it rubbed against a fresh wound.

"Why didn't you use the salve on yourself?" Agent Morse asked.

"Didn't have time. Once I helped the others after what those sick bastards called morning training, I was put to work developing weapons. Then it was off to the battle field. You can figure out what happened then." I finished with the top half and quickly slipped the shirt over my head and yanked it gently but quickly over my body. Only then realizing that the shirt won't cover my arms.

"I think I have a hoodie that will fit you, be right back." Agent Morse left the room with a tight lipped smile.

After she left the room, I put the pants on and took my prized possessions out of my suit pouch, a single photo, and a small round seed. The photo, was of my family. Night and I stood next to each other, Nina stood infront of us, the rest gathered around us, small children in front, taller people in back. I smiled sadly before putting it in my pocket and holding the seed to my heart. Examining it before placing a kiss to it and putting it in my pocket with the photo. I looked up as the door opened.

"This should fit, the sleeves might be a bit big. But it should fit." Agent Morse smiled at me and handed over the hoodie.

I pulled it over my head and giggled—actually giggled—as the hood fell on my face, leaving only my mouth visible. I swung my arms a bit as the sleeves dangled past my hands. "Thank you Agent Morse."

"Please, call me Bobbi." She smiled. I returned it. I went and sat down at the table, pulling my feet up with me onto the chair. Bobbi sat on the chair across from me. "So, how many people are in this family of yours?"

I smiled sadly and pulled the photo from my pocket. I slid it across the table to Bobbi. Pointing to people as I named them, "That's me, Night, Blackthorn, Spider, Artemis, Spark, Bambi, Equilibrio, Voda, Amber, and Nina." I finished with a sad smile.

"You sound like you're all close." she remarked.

"We had to be. Hydra stripped us of our pasts. Tossed us in communal cells and told to train together to survive. They treated us like animals in dog fights. They expected us to tear each other apart like the others. But instead, we created bonds. We made a vow that no matter what, if one of us escaped, we all would. They know I'm coming back for them."

Then, the door opened. Baldy reentered. "The director wants to see you now." he spoke stiffly.

I stood. "Alright. Let's do this."
