We've reached the end of Book 1! What a big ol' cliffhanger, am I right? Ha ha! I wanted to end it with a bang and set it up for a really interesting sequel, so hopefully I achieved that. I really liked writing a medieval-type fantasy again, and having a heroine who had to fight against magic without having magic of her own. Or... so we thought. We'll have to wait until Book 2 to see what happens with Idelle now that she has lost her arm and been revealed to be a possible enemy of Wynherst. I don't have a date for when Book 2 is due to come out, but hopefully I can start writing it once I finish some other projects I have running in the background.
