Kanamaru crossed her arms, watching Todoroki with a small glare.

"What do you want, Todoroki?" She sneered.

"Kanamaru.... That's your family name, right?" He asked.

"Yes?"

"I see.... We're more alike than you think, you know."

Kanamaru scoffed, pushing past him.

"Don't patronize me, Todoroki. What could you possibly know about me?" She said, walking away.

"My parents were in a quirk marriage."

Those words made her freeze.

".... I guess we do have something to talk about."

.

Hitoshi shuddered. He hated being in his parents' house, even with Ayami right next to him.

"Hitoshi." His mother greeted, his father sitting next to her.

"Aiko. Emura." Ayami greeted (more like snarled).

"Hey," Hitoshi waved. "You two look okay."

Emura, his father, crossed his arms, saying "We heard you got into UA. Ayami's practically been singing your praises all month."

"Well, someone has to." Ayami retorted. "Hitoshi appreciates actually being supported. It's a shame you couldn't be there. You would've probably been impressed."

"What would there be to see?" Aiko questioned. "We'd just be watching him manipulate his classmates. It's a wonder they haven't kicked him out of UA yet."

Ayami stood up, the markings on her face opening up into eyes. All of the eyes glared, Hitoshi grabbing her arm.

"Ayami, let's just go. We don't need to stay here." Hitoshi said, giving her a pleading look. "It's not worth it, Ayami. You shouldn't risk your job over this."

Ayami got her teeth, reeling back her quirk, taking a deep breath. She grabbed Hitoshi's hand, pulling him outside.

"Can you get home yourself?" She asked.

"Yeah. Go. I know how you get."

With that, Ayami sighed, hopping on her motorcycle, driving off. She stopped in an alleyway, switching into her hero costume.... Circe came back out.

She sighed, getting a call on her hero phone.

"Hawks." She greeted.

"Hey! I was hoping I could get your opinion on a case I'm working on. You know, the USJ?"

Circe felt her head pound, saying "Yeah, sure." Her voice then shifted by just a little bit, as she said "It's no trouble at all!"

She covered her mouth, her eye twitching, a few of them opening on her arms.

"You good?" Hawks asked, concern in his voice.

'I'm fine! We're fine! Shut up, both of you!' Voices in her head shouted.

Circe shook her head, before finally forming response.

"Yeah. I'll see you at your agency. Just.... Give me a moment."

She hung up the phone, pulling over outside his agency. She held her head, gritting her teeth.

"One.... At.... A fucking time!" She ground out. "Don't.... Have time for this! I have work right now!"

She fell silent for a moment. She then closed her eyes.... She smiled, reopening them. She stretched, appearing much calmer.

"Haha! It's been a while since I've fronted!" She said, humming to herself.

She pulled a notebook off her side, writing something in it, before stepping into Hawks' agency. She went inside, shoving her hands into her pockets, walking over to the hero himself.

"Circe!" He waved. "You good? You seemed pretty out of it earlier...."

"I'm fine." She waved off. "So, what are we talking about again?"

"The.... USJ?"

"Right. Lead the way, we can talk in your office."

The two entered his office, Hawks taking a seat.

"Now then.... When it comes to the USJ, nobody really knows about this Shigaraki guy. That's not very good, given how all we really know about is his quirk." Hawks stated. "What do you think about it?"

Circe appeared to think for a moment, seeming slightly.... Distracted?

"Circe?"

"Huh? Oh, right. I think the best course of action would be having more heroes patrol in the less than favored places of Japan. It'll discourage the villains from trying anything."

Hawks stared at her for a moment.

".... Something's up with you."

"What do you mean?"

"You're distracted," He pointed out. "The air around you is different. It's not the same. You're not being as straightforward as usual, and-"

"Okay, okay! I get it!" Circe quickly said.

She then sighed, looking away for a moment. She closed her eyes, thinking for a second about how to handle things.

".... I'm not me right now. Or, uh, not Circe I guess." She said, interlocking her fingers. "That's normally her field, but I got bored and really wanted a turn! She was stressed out, so I guess she didn't really fight me on it and-"

"Wait," Hawks cut her off. "What do you mean you're 'not Circe'?"

She sighed, saying "I guess it was gonna come out eventually.... I'm Misaki. Circe's got DID."

"So.... Dissociative Identity Disorder?" Hawks asked slowly.

"Yep! Went to therapy, didn't help!" Misaki said, smiling. "They tried to get rid of us. That'd be like killing us, and we didn't want to die, so I- we stopped going."

Hawks just stared. This was the number one underground hero?

"Yes, and um.... You don't think you sound crazy?"

Almost instantly, the mood in the room changed. Circe's eyes darkened, and Hawks could practically hear the switch in her head.

"Don't call us crazy!" She snapped, her tone more sharp.

Hawks tensed, saying "Ha, someone just fronted, didn't they?"

"Azumi." The woman said sharply. "Do. Not. Call. Us. Crazy. You wouldn't like it if I called you a dog or the Commission's errand boy, now would you?"

Hawks shook his head quickly, suddenly dreading what he'd said. This was all too confusing to him. He had no idea what was running through her head, and this revelation made her even more unpredictable.

*Elsewhere....*

"Cinnabar!" Mirei hissed. "What are you doing?!"

Midoriya and Todoroki's fight had just ended, and Cinnabar looked pissed. Mirei didn't know why, but she could tell he had a grudge against Endeavor and- oh shit there he was.

"Endeavor." Cinnabar hissed.

Endeavor took one look, and scowled.

"Styles." He ground out. "The fuck are you doing back in Japan?"

Cinnabar grinned, saying "Oh, you know.... Taking in the sights. Delivering information.... Better question is,"

Cinnabar's grin fell, the man baring his teeth. He towered over Endeavor easily, a glare working its way into his eyes as he scowled. So, that being said, it only furthered Mirei's surprise when the ten foot tall man practically snarled a question at Endeavor:

"What did you do to Shoto Todoroki?"
