Family First

Dabi yawned, entering his apartment. He certainly had no intention of ever leaving, and at least the rent wasn't that-....

Someone drank his whiskey.

"Oh, hey."

He turned, seeing Moon Flare, mask and hood off, black hair cascading down her shoulders as cold grey eyes locked onto his form.

"You're out of alcohol and hot water, and your Netflix is shit." She calmly said, laying on his couch.

Dabi blinked.

"Why are you in my apartment?! More importantly, how did you find it?!" He growled.

"Oh. I followed you because I was bored." Moon Flare responded.

.... What the actual fuck.

*Elsewhere....*

Miho Todoroki was nothing like her older brother. This was the conclusion that Natsuo and Fuyumi came to as they watched their aunt parade around, gladly taking selfies and pictures with whomever she pleased.

"So, um, auntie?" Natsuo slowly said. "Why did you become a hero?"

"Oh!" Miho said, grinning. "Enji made me want to! I wouldn't be where I am now if he wasn't as fiery as he was! Hell, he's been supporting me throughout my entire goal! I don't get why he never wanted us to meet...."

Fuyumi quickly said "I'm sure he just wanted the moment to be right!"

Nope. Her and Natsuo had come to the same conclusion that their father must have: Miho loved Enji. He was her entire world; her role model.

Which is why she had no idea about what had truly happened in the Todoroki household. Enji couldn't break that image he had of her. She was his weak point, and the only other person on his side of the family he really had left after their parents.

"Hey, when will I get to meet Shoto?" Miho asked them.

Natsuo looked away, saying "Shoto's.... Probably busy at UA!"

"UA?" Miho echoed.

"Yes!" Fuyumi quickly responded. "I'm sure he's very busy, so let's-"

"Well let's go visit him!" Miho suggested.

She then turned away, walking off to her car, Natsuo and Fuyumi paling. Shoto was blunt and straightforward. He would revel in telling their aunt about what their father had done, and who knows how Miho would take it.

The two got in Miho's car, sparing each other a glance.

"So...." Fuyumi trailed off. "What was father like back then?"

Miho smirked, saying "Always so flashy and prideful. I remember him telling me about how hard dad had scolded him for partying out late one night!"

Natsuo then asked "So, um.... What's your quirk?"

Miho hummed, thinking of a response.

"Hellwalker." She responded after a moment. "My hair turns into lava, and I can produce and control lava with my hands and feet. Though, my feet are more effective."

Before long, the group arrived at UA's gate, Miho happily walking up to it.

"Wait!" Fuyumi yelled, trying to stop her.

A second later, the defense system activated, large walls blocking her path. Natsuo snickered, walking over.

"UA's got its own defense system." Natsuo explained. "There's no way through it unless you're really adamant on breaking the-"

The sound of flickering caught his ear, Natsuo turning around. Fuyumi and him both stared as Miho smoked.... W- was that pot?!

"Oh, sorry. You want a hit?" Miho asked, holding out the joint.

Fuyumi snatched it, throwing it on the ground, before stomping on it.

"Wh- hey! It's 'puff, puff, pass' not 'puff, puff, stomp out angrily'!" Miho hissed.

"You're smoking weed?! Where did you even get that?!" Fuyumi said to her.

"Oh, I stole it off a villain before I came here. Also, Natsuo said that these Gates won't open unless someone breaks the rules, so...."

A second later, the gates opened, Nezu himself stepping out with Aizawa.

"You must be Ignition, right?" Nezu said, looking up at her.

Miho gave a smug grin to Natsuo and Fuyumi. As she spoke with the principal, Aizawa went over to the Todoroki siblings, both of whom looked horrified.

"Okay, look, everyone knows how much Miho over there has idolized Endeavor. What should we be avoiding?" He quickly asked.

"She cannot see Shoto." Fuyumi said. "If she did, Shoto would tell a bunch of stuff that's not his to tell! That would crush Miho!"

Aizawa paled.

"What?" Natsuo asked.

"Shoto!" Miho said cheerfully, walking over to the boy.

They all froze.

Fuck.

.

Enji hadn't heard from his little sister in a while now. Didn't help that Midnight was screeching at everyone about her child going missing.

"Any luck?" He asked Burnin.

"Nope." Burnin responded.

Suddenly, everyone's phones lit up with a notification, alerting the whole agency. Enji looked at his phone, and paled.

*Rewind....*

"Enji?" An eighteen year old Miho said, brushing ash off her hands.

"Hm?" Enji responded.

"Nezu sent me some schematics.... We should really consider getting our own arena for whenever we spar. We're getting to powerful."

"Yeah, okay."

*Present....*

They'd only used it a handful of times, but Enji recognized the bold fire kanji and sparkling red glitter of their symbol anywhere. The question was why it was suddenly popping up. Why would Miho suddenly announce they were going to-

Oh. Oh fuck.

She knows.

Enji picked up his phone, immediately answering the call.

"Well, Todoroki, this is certainly troubling." Nezu's voice came through.

"This is all my fault. Fuck- what do I do?!"

"Not disappoint your viewers, Endeavor! Come on, now. Surely you can handle a little sibling quarrel, correct?"

Enji hung up, suppressing a groan. He might as well see what this was about-

....

Gods damn it. Why are his children here?

"This is your arena?" Natsuo said, sounding shocked.

Enji looked up at the large dome. It was designed to handle extreme temperatures, the glass meant to allow everyone to watch without getting blinded or burned. Enji sighed, glancing over to Shoto.

"She didn't know." Shoto stated. "Why wouldn't you tell her? She's your sister."

"And my sanity." Enji retorted. "How was I supposed to tell her that her dear big brother was a piece of trash this entire time?"

With that, Enji went through his personalized entrance. Really, how angry could she get? Sure, Miho had thrown her tantrums when she was younger, bit surely it couldn't be that bad now.... Right?

"Enji."

Enji nearly cringed at her tone. He looked, noticing her hair was down, turned completely into lava.

"We need to talk."
