Haseena entered her room and as soon as her eyes went on an unconscious Karishma, tears made their way down to her cheeks. She climbed up the bed, settled herself beside her, and placed Karishma's head in her lap. With teary eyes and a loving heart, she started caressing her head, kissed her forehead, and said, "Karishma!!! Please wake up beasty, you are my strong girl then what happened now....my heart is palpitating seeing you in this condition......" she kept on glancing at her, time to time kissing her face and patting her head while crying herself. "It's all because of me.....i had changed strong firebrand Karishma into weak one.......I am sorry Karishma.....Please wake up.....Please!!!" she was pleading with her but Karishma was still unconscious.

A few hours later, Haseena was still by Karishma's side with her head on her now numb legs while her face was tear-stricken and her eyes glued on Karishma's waiting impatiently for her to gain consciousness. Slowly her eyes and hands showed some movement spreading a pleasant smile on Haseena's lips. In her semi-conscious state, Karishma started whimpering taking Haseena's name. Her heart twitched seeing her condition and she had at once shaken her up calling her name loudly to bring her into senses, "Karishma!! Wake up....open your eyes, look I am fine....Karishma, see your Haseena is absolutely fine.....I was not in crashed plane....wake up Karishma....." Karishma recognized her voice and at once shot open her eyes, their eyes met with each other, tears streamed down from Karishma's eyes and she at once sat up, touched Haseena's cheeks, "Haseenaaaa!!!" escaped her lips as a mere whisper. Haseena closed her eyes finally hearing her voice. "you...you are here...." She kissed her forehead, her cheeks, her hands and hugged her tightly, repeating it again and again trying to make herself believe that Haseena is with her. Seeing her still extremely restless, Haseena hugged her tightly and encaged her in her arms, "It's okay....relax!!! I am there with you and I am absolutely fine.....I was not in that flight....calm down...." Karishma hugged her back and reduced into tears in her arms taking out all her fears. She was crying and saying, "I thought...i thought....you are no more......you don't know how much scared I got......" Hearing Karishma's loud cried everyone else entered their room. Only to see Karishma crying bitterly in Haseena's arms who herself was crying and struggling to relax her best friend and every eye turned watery except Veer who was staring at Haseena making her awkward and she brought Karishma out of her hold, "Aunty, Uncle!!" she added alerting her. "Karishma! How are you my Baccha??" Veer said moving towards her. As Haseena saw him approaching them as a reflex she tried to leave the bed but Karishma clutched her hand tightly behind her not allowing her to leave.

Veer moved towards Karishma hugged her slightly and had kissed her forehead, "How are you feeling?" he asked cupping her face in her palms. She nodded and hugged him, "I am good now Dad." "Hmm....that's wonderful. Thank you Haseena .....Anubhav! It's very late and I am sure your friend would be tired too, why don't you drop her at her home." Veer almost ordered looking at Anubhav. Like a blood rushed through her veins, Haseena was getting a strange unwelcome feeling in his tone, she at once withdrew her hands from Karishma's grip and stood up to leave, "It's not needed Sir, I am a Police officer and I can take care of myself.......I will take your leave....take care Aunty!" She gave her a fake smile and tried to rush out of the room in a hurry. Anubhav and Karishma could sense a sudden change in her eyes but could not be able to guess its reason besides Karishma was still finding herself too afraid of losing her to let her go. Haseena's fast approaching steps towards the door halted hearing Karishma's choking voice, "Haseena!!! Please....." her steps halted in midway, she wasn't able to move ahead after hearing her dear friend's plead. She turned around looked into her eyes which were wet and her head was moving sideways, seeing which she sighed heavily. While Veer was observing both girls' expressions. "Uncle! If you allow me can I stay here for the night?" she asked with the utmost respect but her eyes were glued to Karishma as if telling her that despite sensing that I am not being welcomed here, I am here because I know you need me. Sandhya was the first one to understand what's going on in her head because unlike her children, he too had sensed Veer's strange reactions towards Haseena. She at once interfere, "Of course, Haseena, it's your house. For me and Veer you are just like our Anubhav and Karishma.....you can stay here as long as you want. Am I right Veer?" "Hmm....r...right..." Veer fumbled. "Haseena! Please stay beside me...." Karishma added to which Haseena nodded and settled herself beside her. "Veer! Anubhav! Let's go......Haseena, I am sending dinner for you and Karishma." Sandhya added and left the room followed by Anubhav and Veer who left after glancing her for a little longer.

Haseena and Karishma were sitting on the bed taking support of the backrest while Karishma's head was on Haseena's shoulder while Haseena's arm was holding her upper arm and there was complete silence as both were engrossed in their own thoughts. Karishma was trying to process the shock and Haseena was thinking that does Veer really want her to stay away from his family or it was just her misunderstanding.

Other side, Sandhya dragged Veer to their room, "What happened Sandhya?" he asked reaching in their room. "Have a seat," Sandhya added while locking the door from inside. She settled beside him and asked, "Veer, Do you have any problem with Haseena?" "No, nothing like that...." He replied looking away. "Veer, don't lie to me.....tell me clearly what is going on in your mind?" Sandhya asked. "Sandhya, I was sitting right by my daughter but she was getting more peace with her presence. Anubhav had never raised his voice on me but today he did because of her......don't you feel like our son and daughter are more in her control than ours." He asked her. Sandhya smiled took Veer's hand in hers and added, "You are feeling like this because you don't know her personally. Though you had not said anything but Haseena had understood your intention before your own son and daughter could even get a hint of it. Though she is an orphan girl but she has high self-respect and trust me on this, if she had not looked at our daughter's tears and heard her choking voice, she would have never stayed here even for a minute. Veer, I am not praising her unnecessarily....I have felt all these things, she understands me and my son and daughter more than we understand each other....i know you are right in saying that Anubhav and Karishma are might be under her control more than ours but there is nothing wrong in it. She is capable of taking care of this whole house. Anubhav loves him but had not expressed to her yet and I too want to make her my daughter-in-law. Give her a chance, look at her as you look at Karishma and she would never disappoint you." Veer was listening to everything keenly without giving any expressions. Sandhya kissed his hand and added patting it, "She does not deserve your jealousy or distrust but your love and trust. I can bet She will reciprocate it by replicating it thousand times." Veer nodded looking at her with a reassuring smile.

Next morning, Haseena entered in Lounge to leave for her home with Karishma while Anubhav, Sandhya and Veer was sitting there having morning tea. "Haseena, Karishma come to have a cup of tea with us." Sandhya requested. "No, aunty....Ammi must be waiting for me, I would like to have my first tea with her only." Haseena refused politely. "I need to leave too, Amma and Shorya ji must be waiting for me and moreover I had no uniform here," Karishma added too. Sandhya nodded at both of them. Haseena moved forward towards Sandhya to take her blessings as she bends to touch her feet. Next, she moved towards Veer who had blessed her and added, "Haseena beta! In all this, we did not get much time to know each other. Why don't you join us on dinner tonight?" he invited her looking at Anubhav and Karishma's elated smile. Haseena too had seen their happiness and nodded her head, "okay Uncle as you say." "Karishma beta, bring your mother-in-law and your husband too." He added looking at her who nodded with a smile. After that Haseena greeted Anubhav and they both left the house.

Veer was sitting alone in the lounge only with newspaper while Anubhav was on duty and Sandhya went to market, it was then their driver came to her, "Greetings sir!" he said bowing down in front of him. "Hmm!!!" there came his arrogant response. "Sir! My daughter is suffering from blood cancer. Doctors had said that she can be treated with a bone marrow transplant. My bone marrow can be donated to her, but sir treatment is very expensive....Please sir, if you can help me save my only daughter." He put his plead in front of him with folded hand begging him for his daughter's life. "I have no money......." He stated not even feeling the need to give him two words of sympathy. "Please sir, my daughter will die....." poor father begged him with tears in his eyes and fell on his feet crying bitterly. "Leave me, you rascal, idiot......don't touch my shoes they worth more than your life....." he kicked him away and added, "I had not earned to waste my money on some stupid donation......if she is dying then let her die......" he spitted venom on poor father's wounds who stood up from the floor and left from their hurt, disappointed and very much worried for her dear daughter's life.
