Later on in the evening, everyone was sitting at the dinner table with multiple dishes including masala rice, shahi paneer, Pasta and Palak paneer, presented before them. Veer was sitting on the head chair of the dining table, on his left was his wife Sandhya while on his right was Pushpa ji. Besides Sandhya, Haseena was seated followed by Shorya while beside Pushpa ji, Anubhav was seated opposite Haseena, and Karishma was seated beside him and opposite Shorya. Food was served to everyone by house staff and young couples were stealing glances at each other. 

Shorya had held Karishma's right feet through both feet and was teasing her by rubbing his toes on the lower side of her feet while she was glaring at him who gave her a mischievous grin as his toes started approaching his wife's right feet caressing her lower calf muscles followed by thighs under her one-piece gown, giving her wife Goosebumps who was turning crimson red and was biting her lips pleading her to stop his sweet tortures who had shaken his head sideways negatively

While Anubhav moved his feet under the table in search of Haseena's giving her romantic glances but to his bad luck instead of colliding with Haseena's his feet touched Sandhya's who at once snapped him, "Anu! What are you doing can't you control your feet?" Hearing her Anubhav at once took them back while Karishma coughed badly and Shorya had at once stopped his sweet feet torture while Haseena had looked at three of them and realizing she gave Anubhav a pity look who bowed his head while Haseena smiled, "Karishma you are looking gorgeous as the pink color of your dress is reflecting on your cheeks....." she said and winked at her and she looked away embarrassed not before giving Shorya a death glare who gulped down getting scared while Haseena laughed seeing them.

"Haseena beta! Share something about yourself, who are in your family? What is your background?" Veer asked her taking her attention. Haseena smiled and added with a nod, "My Abu was a constable and Delhi is my birth palace. I was 12 when my father died in a Police encounter. After that, we moved to my maternal village there my Ammi's foster brother and owner of the village had adopted me legally as my guardian at the age of 15. I was inspired by my father to join forces so I worked hard and joined the Police force about eight years ago. Recently, I am working as S.H.O of Woman Police Station Lukhnow and Karishma Singh is my S.I. I am living here in Lukhnow with my mother." Veer nodded and replied, "So you are that famous senior of my Karishma about she used to complain of having ideological differences." Haseena chuckled at him and added, "Absolutely uncle, I am that only...." "What does your mother do?" he asked. "She was a housewife uncle!" she replied taking another bite. "So, how does she had completed your brought up?" he asked. Hearing his statement, Haseena gets a bit stiffened as she does not like her Ammi being questioned by him. Anubhav was about to say something but she added before him, "I used to work as a gardener earlier in the village only, and later on my scholarship was enough to cover both of ours expenses." She told him. "And your Ammi's foster brother and your guardian???" he asked. 

Karishma and Anubhav both knew that Haseena is getting offended by his questions. Anubhav was losing his cool and before he burst Karishma stopped him by putting her hand on his and added, "you won't believe it Dad, Haseena is not less than a royal princess there in the village. They call her Choti Sarkar- a title which could only belong to the next heir of the village. Dozens of guards used to guard her day and night and you know what is most interesting, that she is the royalty whom no villagers especially male villagers were allowed to look at. They used to be bowed in front of her ready to do anything on her one command. What's say Anu Bhayya, we have been to her village recently and we ourselves were awestruck seeing such a luxurious and royal life she holds." Karishma was telling this to her dad but her and Anubhav's eyes were glued to Haseena who was intentionally looking at the plate down there as she hated being judged by the massive property and luxuries she was compelled to owe. Karishma looked at her added as if telling her, "But you know what all those luxuries and properties were nothing in front of pious soul and the enchanting aura she carries with herself." "Absolutely, Haseena's honesty and loving nature had no comparison with any material wealth of this world," Anubhav added as both the brother-sister duo were looking at her with wet eyes filled with love and gratitude in them when Haseena raised her eye lashes and looked at theirs with an emotional yet smiling nod. Veer was literally left speechless seeing immense love for Haseena in eyes of all those present there, which irked him to some extent but he controlled himself.

After dinner, they were sitting in the Lounge having a light conversation when Veer received a call and he excused himself from there. Talking over the phone, he reached her room and found the same driver Shankar leaned over his open locker, hiding cash inside his shirt, "you rascal!!!!" he roared angrily and leaped towards him who started trembling in fear. His voice had caught everyone's attention, "it's papa's voice...." Anubhav mumbled and they all ran towards the room only to find Shankar lying on the floor and Veer kicking him again and again as well as badmouthing him.

"Dad!! What happened?" Karishma asked. Veer had held Shankar from his collar and dragged him towards Anubhav and Karishma choking his neck and shouted, "I had caught him stealing cash from my locker red-handed.....arrest him." A tear dropped from Shankar's eye and there was helplessness on his face. Karishma had seen it and stopped his dad instantly, "Leave him, Dad, you will choke him.....at least listen to him first." "People had lost the fear of Police, today a thief had dared to steal money from the house of DSP of Lukhnow and an S.I.......and instead of beating him to senses you are asking me to listen to him......since when you started listening to criminals......" Veer was speaking an older version of Karishma when Karishma added, "Get up Shankar!!" She told him and looked at Shorya who nodded and moved ahead offering him a glass of water. 

Karishma tends to Veer, "Dad, I understand that he had tried to steal, He is serving us for years and he never did even minor dishonesty and suddenly he felt the need to steal cash.....don't you think there must be something more to it. Just beating the criminals won't end the crime......we must hate crime, not criminals...." She was saying all this and other than Veer three more souls were utterly shocked. Haseena, Anubhav, and Pushpa ji were looking at their fire-brand Karishma, dealing criminals with emotions, with wide-open eyes and mouth. 

Karishma moved towards a visibly trembling Shankar and asked him politely, "Shankar, now relax and tell me why you had committed this crime?" "Sorry, madam sorry, I am extremely ashamed of myself for doing this but I had no other option......my poor 10-year-old daughter was suffering from blood cancer and I immediately need money for her bone marrow transplant to save her life.......she is such a lovely small girl whose young eyes were filled with thousands of dreams for her life......I could not see her in pain...." He added and started crying bitterly hearing him every eye were in tears except Veer's. "Why you had not asked us directly for help.....we could have helped you," Anubhav asked hearing him Veer get afraid as he knew he was about to be caught in his own trap. "Sir, I had asked from Veer Sir but he refused......." He added and crying bitterly, "My dear daughter!!! Now how will I save her...." He was crying and mumbling the same. 

Karishma looked at Veer and questioned him directly with now angry eyes, "Why dad? Why you had refused him????" Veer was staring at her shockingly unable to see that her daughter is questioning him. He was shocked to see this side of hers whom he expected to beat him brutally, whom he had trained himself to be a great weapon in her anger."Tell me, Dad, Why you had not helped him?" Anubhav asked him with equal aggression. "I...I thought he was lying just to extract some money....." Veer replied bewildered to see them completely transformed from the being he had made them, in the long duration of more than twenty years. 

Anubhav and Karishma rolled their eyes disappointingly on their dad and together moved towards Shankar, made him stand up, and added, "Don't worry, we will bear expenses of your daughter's treatment." Haseena who was seeing them with proud eyes received glances of acknowledgment from Pushpa ji and Sandhya too whom she responded with a proud nod. She moved forward held Anubhav and Karishma's one hand from her both hands and added, "We will together get your daughter treated and she will live a long life to fulfill all her dreams." "Thank you, Thank you all....May God bless you three with health, happiness, and togetherness." Smilingly they glanced at each other receiving a heartfelt prayer from a poor father. 

After that Shankar left from there while Haseena was proudly staring at Karishma who suddenly felt conscious and asked, "Haseena!! Why are you looking at me like this?" Haseena had shaken her head in negative and added, "Not Haseena, today S.H.O Haseena Malik is very proud of you S.I. Karishma Singh. Seeing you handling the situation with such a maturity without flowing unnecessarily in anger......I can't even tell you how much happy and proud I am feeling right now....Now I can say S.I. Karishma Singh, you are ready to be an S.H.O....." As soon as she heard her madam sir praising her, her happiness knew no bounds, "Madam Sir! I got this calmness and maturity from you only. So, this one is for you....." Karishma Singh saluted Haseena Malik as her gesture of gratitude though they were not in uniforms.

After seeing all this, Veer once again realized that Haseena had completely taken over mind and hearts of his son and daughter which did not go down too well with him but he did not wish to do anything which would make him villain and Haseena hero. So he chose to stand there silently with gritted teeth and his eyes spitting anger for his soon-to-be daughter-in-law. Shorya moved ahead towards Karishma and added giving him a side hug, "Proud of you Jaan...." "Proud of you Behna!!!" Anubhav added "congratulations Karishma beta!!!" Sandhya and Pushpa ji added. "Thank you, Thank you so much!!!" Karishma responded to them happily.
