LIKE A RAINDROP, IN HOT WEATHER
Hello everyone, how are you all? Today, I am here with a very long part for all of you..........
The next morning they were about to end breakfast when Shamila appeared, "Sarkar! Ramu had come from the village and saying there is some issue in the village which needs your immediate attention." "But today I had a very important meeting with a foreign delegate regarding water plant....Haseena why don't you go there and see their issues." He asked her. "Okay! If you say so but I want Mansi to come along," she said. "Told him that choti Sarkar will be there," Mahipal ordered her to convey a message to him. "Haseena Mansi! Is just a kid. That environment won't be good for her." Mahipal added. Haseena took a deep breath and said, "you are right she is not of age right now but she would be one day then she had to take over this and I want her to start understanding these matters from now only so that she won't be taken advantage off. Secondly, after what Datta and Genda Maa did, I don't want you to trust anyone this blindly but your own daughter. She needs to be your biggest support system." "Haseena! I don't want her childhood to be ruined under these burdens of life just like yours had once." Mahipal tried to reason with her. "I agree with him Haseena. Seeing your child getting mature before her age and still helpless to do anything........nothing is more painful for parents than this....." her eyes get wet reminiscing Haseena's childhood and even Mahipal's eyes get wet too. "Ammi!! Uncle!!" Haseena wiped their tears one by one, "I am sorry I did not mean to take you both in memory lanes but truth is that is exactly why I want Mansi to start understanding life and its complexities. I know exactly how it feels when you suddenly find yourself in front of life's harshness and that too alone. I want to save her from any such unfortunate incidents. You are right that in your and my presence no one could ever harm her anyway but what if someday we could not be with her. Come on Uncle tell me, what if God forbid something happened to you..." "Haseena!!!!" her mother shouted. "No, ammi! This is life and nothing is more unpredictable than this.....whoever had taken birth must have to die.....in my profession is there any guarantee, in the morning when we leave home we did not know if we will return safely or not.......then tell me Uncle what would have happened to her......I want you and me to train her in such a way that she not only would be able to take care of herself but this whole village just like we have done until now...." hearing her Anubhav and Karishma not only understand her pain but found her reason to be justified. Mahipal was in deep thoughts, Haseena held both hands in her, "Uncle! Look at me!!!" and directly looking at his eyes she said, "Until I have my breaths, Mansi will never be alone in any difficulty of her life and this is a daughter's promise to her father. And trust me I won't let her childhood be ruined in all this....Can you trust your Haseena this much..." She asked. He nodded and said, "With your trust, I can even give my life Haseena..." Haseena nodded and hugged him. "So, Mansi!!! Will you accompany me?" she asked looking at her. "Oh MY GOD api! I always wanted to see all this...Thank you so much.....I will just go and be ready in five minutes.." she elatedly hugged Haseena from her back and kissed her on her cheeks. Haseena laughed at her cute antics and patted her cheeks, "go, my Baccha...." she nodded and stormed away. "Mahipal sir!! Madam sir!!! I had never been to any village before....in fact we most of us had not....Is it possible that we too..." Santosh asked hesitatingly and before Haseena could refuse Mahipal added, "Of course beta! Why not? In fact, Haseena beta takes them with you more often until they are here....get them to visit our fields, cultures, farmhouse, tube well....." Hearing it Haseena smiled slightly, "as you say, Uncle."
Haseena was dressed in a decent elegantly designed light pink coloured trouser-shirt with her head covered in dupatta while Mansi has dressed similarly just that colour of her dress and design was different. Others were dressed normally as per their comfort zone. "Let's go!!" Haseena said and they all moved out of haveli, Haseena was ahead of them and as soon as they heard her arrival they settled on their knees with eyes down, one hand on gun standing at their height and other hands behind their back. Every time her team members saw such a level of respect for her in them they felt so much proud. Haseena reached to the jeep and Ramo opened her car door for her and the other side driver opened one for Mansi. They both and others settled in the jeep and they drove towards the village. "Madam Sir! Can I ask you something?" Santosh asked. "Of course go ahead." She replied, "You must have felt so proud when everyone bowed in front of you like a real princess right?" Santosh said. "Santosh are you asking me or telling me?" she chuckled slightly. "Oh!" Santosh said slyly. "Actually I hate it," she replied which shocked everyone a lot. "But why? And then why you had not stopped them?" she asked on behalf of everyone. "Well! Firstly I am a simple human being just like they are and how can a man bow in front of another man. Secondly, I had not stopped them because I know if they don't do this then Uncle would not let them be alive anymore." She said and sighed. "I am still unable to understand..." she said. "It's a long story, Santosh Sharma....Maybe you get to know some other time not now." she replied and then looked at Mansi, "Mansi! I hope you don't tell this to Uncle....I do not want him to get hurt." "Of course api! Don't worry." Mansi replied cutely to her. Seeing their cute and strong bond and when every time Haseena talked cheerfully to Santosh or Mansi, Karishma felt a strange sense of longingness which she was compelled to tolerate helplessly.
A number of villagers were gathered male and female on the ground and under tree, a throne type bench was settled. As soon as Haseena and Mansi stepped down the car followed by everyone all the villagers stood up and bowed their heads. Walking towards her designated place she settled on it but still, everyone was looking down, "api! if they will not raise their heads then how will they share their problems?" Mansi asked in her ears and added, "you told them to look up!" "I cannot Mansi, uncle would get angry with this....let me think something...." She replied and then suddenly an idea struck her mind. "Ramo!" she called. "yes Choti Sarkar!!!" he replied. "Go and arrange cloth shield! Hurry up!!" she ordered. Within a second a cloth shield was set up between her and Mansi and villager. "Now you can raise up." She ordered and everyone stood up relieved. "Bhayya! Now I am curious too, what is such a huge thing that not seeing her is obligatory? Even Madam Sir had not dared to surpass it when she wanted to do it the most." Karishma Singh whispered in her ear. "Before you start I want you to not hesitate to share your problems with me. I assure you that your every problem would be solved." "Shankar! First you." Ramo said and a middle-aged man stood up from the crowd with folded hands he started, "Choti Sarkar! My, this season's crops have been ruined by pests because I had no funds to carry out pest control spray. Now I have nothing to feed my family..." he said and started crying. "Shankar ji! What is past is past? I cannot bring back your crops but we can surely do something to stop it from happening in future. Where is your wife?" she asked. "There she is!" he signalled and she stood up. "Do you know sewing and knitting?" she asked. "Yes, choti Sarkar!" "Good, then you start doing tailoring of this and nearby villager's clothes and Shankar you, there is a lot of labour required at the School site. I will tell them and they will give you some work. Earn for yourself and save funds for your next season's crops." She ordered. "Thank you choti Sarkar! Thanks a lot." They both told and went away. "What is next Ramo?" she asked while everyone was completely impressed by her leadership skills. "Choti Sarkar! He is caught stealing money from 'dehaati dhabba' his name is Rahul." Ramo threw a 15-year-old badly beaten boy in front of her whose condition was very bad with dirty clothes and bruised body and he was crying. "Behave your self, Ramo! Is this your way?" she shouted. "Pardon me choti Sarkar! But he is a thief." He said. "No thief take birth Ramo instead society compelled them to be one." She replied and then turned towards him, "Rahul, now tell me why you had stolen money? Don't you know it is wrong?" she asked. "I know choti Sarkar and I am very sorry but I had no other option. I had not done it for myself but for my mother, she is old and her health is not good. I had no money to feed her and to take her medicines. I had asked everyone to give me a job but everyone threw me out. My Uncle had snatched my father's share of land from us. That was our only source of income. I did not know what to do so I did this. I am sorry..." the poor boy told his story and started crying badly listening which Haseena's eyes were full of tears as she went in her own bitter memories of life. She looked at Cheetah and he nodded understanding what he wanted but before he stepped out, Anubhav was already behind that boy holding him and consoling him. "Ramo! First of all, go to his mother and get her admitted to hospital." she ordered and Ramo signalled one of his men who bowed and left. "Now order some food for him right now!!!" she ordered harshly and within a second the boy was served with food. He was eating insanely to his full and thanking her in between. "I want his Uncle right now. Do you understand that?" she ordered in anger. They knew better than to mess with her and within a second a shivering middle-aged man was presented in front of her who bowed her, "greetings choti Sarkar!!!" "Is he your nephew? Your dead brother's Son?" she asked. "No! No Sarkar I don't know him." He lied straight away. She ordered her bodyguards to seize him, they at once held him tightly, "leave me! You cannot do this??" he was shouting. "Ramo! Call his youngest son?" he ordered. "No! Don't harm my son!!!" he was shouting. "Held his mouth I don't want to hear a single word from him and take him behind that tree until I say otherwise..." she roared and her orders have complied. Karishma and Anubhav were just observing her is she really going to do something illegal. Is she really going to kill that poor innocent kid?
Ramo brings an innocent 10-year-old boy named Sham. "Sham! Come here come to me," she called him ever so politely and lovingly. Much to everyone's surprise she gets him settled beside her, lovingly patted his head she asked, "Sham! Can you tell me who is he?" she asked signalling towards Rahul. "He is Rahul bhayya. My cousin brother." He replied innocently. "do you know what his father used to do?" she asked. "he was a farmer just like my father. We even used to go and play together on fields me and Rahul bhayya but after my uncle's death, everything changed. I missed playing with him." Sham told her innocently. "Did your Uncle used to do farming on your father's land?" she asked. "No, he used to do on his while my father does on his own." He replied. "Good boy! Do you like chocolates?" she asked him and he nodded. Haseena hand him over two from her bag and ordered Ramo to send him to his mother. As soon as the boy went away. She ordered, "Bring him!!" her men brought him to her. "So now what you have to say your own child has exposed you. You know what children are so pure and innocent they did not know any cleverness like we elders." "I am sorry choti Sarkar. I am really sorry. I had learnt my lesson." He pleaded. "Apologize him, not me." she roared once again. He went to him patted his head and apologized folding his hands. Rahul too forgave him and hugged him. "From this day onwards, you will give his share of the property to him and until he gets stable on his foot you will take care of his and his mother's expenses. And if I found you not doing it then trust me on that I will snatch even your share of property from you too. Do you understand that?" she roared. "Absolutely I won't let you down." He agreed. "Rahul! You promise me that you will go to school and be a good boy and will never repeat such a thing." "I promise Choti Sarkar. Thank you because of you I had gotten my family back. Long live choti Sarkar long live!!!!" he shouted followed by everyone and even all her team and villagers was clapping for her. She smiled and asked, "Ramo anything else." She asked. "No choti Sarkar! Done for today." She nodded and looked at Mansi who nodded smiling at her. She held her hand protectively and stood up seeing which everyone bowed down again until they settled in the car and left.
"Wow! Madam Sir! What swift and accurate decision making? What' say Anubhav Sir?" Santosh asked bringing him out his thoughts which were focussed on Haseena only, "hmm.... Han of course it was really exceptional. You were really amazing in problem-solving." He praised her to which she gave him a glance and then replied formally, "thank you, sir!! I am humble." Anubhav just nodded in response. "Api! Now where will we go?" Mansi asked. "To school site! We will visit the school site first and then we will go on tube well and farmhouse." She replied.
At the school site-building was under construction and a lot of dust and bricks, cement were spread everywhere. "Mansi! Do one thing you and Santosh go and wait for us in the car it is too much dust you will get allergy." "Okay!" Mansi and Santosh went. "Actually! I was saying that I too would go with them." cheetah asked wanting to spend time with Santosh. "I know why, but it's okay go." Haseena smiled and let him go. They were visiting the building and Haseena was guiding them on what would be built where. When the construction manager came, "Choti Sarkar! There is a little problem." "As per the map, we don't have space for science lab and if we make it then we would get a small playground." "Hmm!!! Show me map....." she asked. "Look! Here are a number of offices for staff. Cut them into just two staff rooms one for male and one for female and then make science lab. There is no need to cut playground." She ordered and he nodded and was about to leave. "Sorry, but can I say something...madam sir...." Karishma Singh spoke up hesitantly. "of course! Go ahead." Haseena told her formally. "In my opinion, you should not construct a science lab inside the main building. I mean science lab usually has certain chemical and equipment which could be dangerous. I think you should shift these classrooms at the place of offices and then the science lab must be constructed on the opposite side of the building." she shared her opinion and then added, "Only if you think so...." "Brilliant Karishma ji! Thank you so much for this advice." Haseena praised but still being extra formal. She ordered, "Do as she said." She replied. And they moved towards the jeep.
Going through lush green fields they reached their farmhouse where a couple had greeted them who was its caretaker. Santosh's eyes went on tube well and she just ran to it, "Madam Sir! It's tube well! I want to play in there. Please can I go?" she asked and Haseena nodded smiling at her cute antics. "Let's go Mansi!" and they ran there. "You too go ahead I'll be there too." She asked others too. And then she herself went to that lady, "Ask the driver to bring a bag from jeep it has spare clothes for all of us. Get them ready and secondly, i think you can arrange some roasted corns for all of them until they enjoy with water." "Of course Choti Sarkar! It will be done." she nodded and was about to go but stopped seeing Santosh sitting at the edge of the tube well, "Aunty! Order my guards and everyone to stay out only. No one should get on these premises. If I need anyone I will call you okay..." "As you say!" she replied and Haseena went there too.
It was a very large square open water storage tank beside a large deep well of about 30 feet with a high power motor to draw water from underground. The storage tank has a source pipe at its one corner head with a radius of 12 cm and it was releasing water with extreme pressure in the tank (well) which has an out way passage about 1 foot above the ground leading to farming lands. Haseena reached there to see Santosh and Mansi inside the tank enjoying and playing with water while Cheetah, Anubhav and Karishma were sitting at the edge of the well with their legs quarter dipped inside water. The height of the tank was about 6.5 feet while the water inside it was only 3.5 feet. Santosh and Mansi were throwing water on each other while the cheetah was admiring her like a lovesick puppy on the side Karishma and Anubhav was busy roaming in their thoughts with swinging their legs. Haseena was standing at a far distance observing everything. Santosh when saw Karishma doomed in her thoughts she signalled Mansi and they both together threw water on her with their hands, drawing her out of her thoughts with shock and sudden deep breath and there she was completely wet, "SANTUUU!!!!!" she gritted her teeth while both of them were laughing intensely. Karishma smiled fully and jumped in the tank and she started throwing water on them too. Anubhav was looking at her sister admiring her smile laughing and enjoying like this after so long. She looked at him and in no time he too was in water completely drenched as her sister dragged her in. Haseena was seeing the sibling duo playing and enjoying in water with water and for once she forgets everything that had happened with them. She moved towards the well while the other side Santosh had dragged the cheetah too, "cheetah what are you doing there?" and he was waiting for this for a long time he just jumped in too.
Haseena was mesmerized by the sight in front of her, still, at a sound distance, she clicked their dozens of photos and videos. Just then an idea struck her and she went and switch on the motor resulted in a sudden gush of water inside the tank and had shaken up everyone. Standing not so far when she saw the shock on their faces she started laughing loud and hard and nothing could be more blissful at that moment for all Woman police station team to see here laughing like this like a free bird. They were staring at her getting happy and shocked at the same time, wishing time to stop and she would never come out of her trance but it did not happen and she suddenly gets aware of her situation which stopped her blissful laughter. An awkward silence emerged but not for long, everyone looked at each other and she knew what they are going to do, "No, No!!!" she was stopping them but together they dipped their hands and SPLASH! SPLASH!!! She was drenched to seeing everyone laughed and she too smiled. "Come on api! Come in!!" Mansi started. "Yes madam sir come on join us!!" Santosh said too but she was refusing but not so long before she was dragged into the water by Mansi and Santosh. Haseena was not far from Anubhav and her drenched body was making him go insane. Karishma was happiest because of this fortunate chance of being so closed, playing and enjoying with her madam sir, her best friend. Santosh clicked few pictures of them together in the tank. It was indeed one of the best moments of their life for all of them.
They changed into dry clothes prepared already and was gathered in a lounge in Farmhouse. When Haseena called the caretaker, "I had asked you to arrange something?" "It is ready choti Sarkar." She replied. "Then serve it to everyone." She ordered. Caretaker returned with corns for everyone, "Wow! Madam Sir! How do you know I was wishing that only?" Santosh asked surprised. Haseena smiled and said, "Take it!" They ate corn when Haseena was admiring Santosh and Mansi's cute bond like two age fellows share while Karishma and Anubhav were admiring only her sitting together, "I wish you look me too with so much love." Anubhav murmured. "I heard it bhayya...." Karishma teased him a little. "What Behna???" and they both laughed lightly.
So How was it??? Stay tuned to witness a unique father daughter bond
