It had been a few days since Karishma and Anubhav had been living with Haseena at her home. They had cherished some of the best moments of their friendship which would give them the energy to live for a long time in the future. The positive aura of their togetherness had healed Haseena and Karishma's wounds. Sandhya, Pushpa ji, and Shorya used to visit them regularly to spend quality moments with them. Anubhav was used to handle Woman Police Station in Haseena and Karishma's absence. Veer had not contacted Anubhav and Karishma, he was showing a strange silence even he had not shocked Haseena through the wrist bangle in these days. All are assuming thing to be back to normal except one, Haseena knew it is the silence before the storm which would definitely hit her hard. She had tried thinking a number of ways but all depend on Veer's next move. As time is moving, her restlessness had been increasing.

It was the nighttime, Haseena, Karishma, Anubhav, and Ammi were at the dining table having their dinner. Haseena was feeling low today, instead of eating she was thinking about veer while rotating that silver shocker band in her wrist. "Haseena, why you are not eating?" Ammi asked. Karishma looked at her face and then at her fingers which were playing with the bangle. Shoving a spoon full of rice in her own mouth, she said, "Haseena now I am getting jealous of this bracelet, even in mine and Anu bhayya's presence your whole attention is there only." "A....amm...no...nothing like that." She stammered. "By the way Haseena ji, you have not told us who had given you this bracelet, that you never remove it." Anubhav asked, hearing him Haseena started thinking about what to answer him when Karishma intervened, "One does this only for some special one." She added and the brother-sister duo was looking at her with jealousy assuming someone else in her life. Haseena looked at them, her eyes instantly get wet and she chuckled at her helplessness, "you are right, I had worn it for indeed the most special person of my life, you can say that my life is dependent on mine wearing this bracelet," Haseena's unexpected response had made them shock more than jealous while Haseena left the dining table and ran inside the room, locking it. "Haseena?" "Haseena ji??" both called her from behind but she was too fast. They were about to run behind her but Ammi stopped them, "Wait, first you both complete your meal and then together go and feed her, I am sure she won't refuse. Moreover don't think much about what she said, I think she is upset over something otherwise there is no one more special than you both in her life." They both nodded and resumed their dinner swiftly than before.

Unnoticed to them, Haseena had run inside her room holding her writs through which she was suddenly started getting electrocuted. Running towards the room with bitten lips and locking it from inside, she had thrown herself on the bed digging her face in her pillow to muffle her screams. Every thirty seconds she was being electrocuted resulting in a sudden jerk in her whole body, "I ....I knew.....I knew it....Ammm.....y....you would have been planning soo.....aaaammmm.....something.....aammm.....you....you cannot...aaammm.....cannot break me.....ammmm......i...I don't....aaaammmm.....you.....you can...do...aaammm....whatever.....you....aaaammmmaammm.....want to do......b....but...you....aaammm won't win.....aaaaammm." Haseena said to veer in between her hardly muffled screams, about whom she knew must be hearing her through the bracelet. 

Haseena's strength and her stubbornness had angered veer more and he continued his brutal torture for fifteen minutes with an interval of 30 seconds. His continuous tortures had though made her strong enough to bear without screaming but still with every shock she gets a jerk in her body and by the end of fifteen minutes when veer stopped, she was panting heavily and sweating profusely while a tear dropped streamed from the corner of her eyes. Lying on the bed in the same distorted state, she was taking deep breathes in order to normalize her breathing and thinking about the whole scenario.

"I don't know until when I could bear this torture, I need to think of a way. Despite having the proofs neither I can arrest him until I get to know the exact location of the bombs nor I can inform Anubhav and Karishma. I don't know how they would react whether they would trust me or not and even if they would trust me then too, after that hospital fiasco how they reacted I am sure, they would be so much broken that it would be greatly difficult for me to handle them in this situation and what if veer gets to know about it, he would not waste a single second before killing them. No, no I need to keep them away from all of this. I think I should activate my informers for locating the two bombs until they do this, I need to keep veer busy with myself but before all of this, I must send Anubhav and Karishma away from the city....but how...how is this possible?" she was thinking all these things lying in the same distorted and worn-out condition when her room door knocked and Karishma's voice came, "Haseena? Haseena? Please open the door."

Not wanting to give them any hint on what's happening she supported her extremely tired figure to the washroom. Washing her face, she came out with slow steps and opened the door until then the brother-sister duo had reached the point of panic where they could break the door of her room. "Where were you?" Karishma asked loudly "Why you were not opening the door?" Anubhav asked next, extremely worried "Are you alright?" Karishma asked, her heartbeat still abnormal from imagining all sorts of things "Why you are looking so worn out?" he asked looking at her tired and clinging to the door figure. Haseena smiled turned around and slowly started moving towards her bed, "I am fine baba, I was in washroom.....you people are worried unnecessarily and I am tired because I had eaten anything." she settled on her bed by then and said facing them who was now standing in front of her with a tray of food in Karishma's hands, "Now if I am not wrong you both are here to feed me, so whom are you waiting for? I am dying to eat from my two beloved ones." Seeing her pleasant smile, all their worries went down the drain, she is indeed a pro in hiding her emotions. They smiled and moved towards her for pampering her.

Karishma was sitting with support of bed rest with a bowl of hot oil beside her, Haseena was in half lying on Karishma's chest with her back colliding it while Anubhav was sitting beside her feet with rice plate in his hands. Anubhav was feeding her spoons while Karishma was giving her a head massage with warm oil. "A few moments ago their stepfather was torturing me through electrocution and now they are pampering me taking away all my pains. I am blessed to have them with me otherwise perhaps I would not be this strong," She thought feeling their love and her eyes get wet. She sat up straight from her chest and held Anubhav's one and Karishma's one hand from each of her hands, dragging them towards her front, she kissed both of them together while a tear from her wet eyes dropped on their hands. "Haseena, you are crying?" Karishma asked surprisingly. Haseena smiled through her tears and added, "These are tears of happiness Karishma, and you both don't know what you mean to me? You are my pillars of strength, with you on my side I can win every battle and without you, Haseena is too weak." "We are always with you Haseena," Anubhav added and both hugged Haseena tightly. Coming out of a hug, Haseena looked at Anubhav and added, "Anu! I am too tired, I want to sleep in your lap. Will you pat me to a peaceful slumber?" Both Anubhav and Karishma were beyond shock hearing her direct intimate demand from Anubhav. Anubhav looked at Karishma's presence nervously but then nodded looking at Haseena. Karishma knew her brother is shy and nervous in front of her and assuming it to be a couple of moment, indeed she should not be present her so she added, "I will just be back," and was about to get up but Haseena held her through her hand and requested with a choking voice, "Please, don't, don't go....I need to feel both of your presence around me....please." Hearing her voice and looking at state, one thing about which they both get sure is that Haseena is feeling extremely low about something and she needs her two pillars of strength. Leaving the question of knowing the truth for tomorrow, they decided to give her what she needed now. "Okay, Anu bhayya you came here." Karishma guided him towards the head side of the bed and herself settled on the foot side. Haseena smiled and placed her head in Anubhav's lap while Karishma herself had placed her legs in her lap. A moment later, Karishma was pressing her legs while Anubhav was lightly patting her head and both were looking into each other's eyes drowned in each other's deep love for one another which perhaps came too far from any confessions and proposals unknown to them while Karishma was just smiling looking at them thinking, "May God bless them always, their relationship had come so far, perhaps farther and stronger than the need of any confessions." At that moment Haseena knew she needed all the love and pampering from her love and her best friend and she doesn't care what it looks like from a third eye. "Do you both know that Lori which Ammi used to sing for me?" She asked to both of them who smiled and chuckled listening to her and then nodded through their eyes. Anubhav closed her eyes, looked at her sister, and together they started singing her Lori.

After making her sleep in her room, the brother-sister duo was sitting in the lounge discussing her only on a cup of coffee. "Anu bhayya, don't you feel Haseena had been hiding something from us?" "You are right Behna, I mean who puts the smart scanner lock on her room." "And not only this, at the dinner she was absolutely fine but then when we reach to her room, she seems like someone had soaked all her energy." "You are right, Karishma, even I noticed she wasn't even able to stand on her own. What happened in just fifteen minutes?" "And she was getting super emotional today....I am feeling like something is not right with her," Karishma expressed her worries. "I think we should ask her," Anubhav added. "I think we should find a proper way because if things were that simple she must have shared herself," Karishma expressed her opinion. "You mean to say that something is serious?" Anubhav asked her to which she shrugged her shoulder and added, "I mean it could be." "Let us try to ask her separately in our own ways, maybe she shares with any of us." Anubhav proposed and Karishma agreed.

The next day early morning before duty time, the doorbell rang of Haseena's house. Ammi went to open the door only to find Veer standing there with a big beautiful bouquet of multi-shade flowers. His face had raised Ammi's anger and she shouted loudly, "How dare you show me your face? Return from where you came...." She was about to shut the door on his face when Sandhya came forward with joined hands, "Please Behan ji! You too are a mother, none can understand better than you how a parent feels upon being away from children. Veer had been repenting his deeds since Anubhav and Karishma left. Please I request you to let him meet his children once." "Who am I to stop him from meeting his son and daughter but I am warning you to stay away from my daughter," Ammi warned him, moving aside letting them in.

"Anubhav, Karishma come out?" she called them loudly while anger was visible on her face. "Coming Auntie!!" Anubhav replied. In a few moments both Anubhav and Karishma came out from their respective room and got shocked to see Veer standing there. Upon reaching near them, they both greeted and hugged their mother first, by the initial shock had been replaced with sheer anger and Karishma shouted, "Maa, what is he doing here?" "You know Maa, we are really not interested in meeting him. Let's go Behna!!" Anubhav added loudly. Hearing their loud voices, Haseena came out but when she saw veer she instantly stopped herself from coming in front, instead she stood there beside the room door, feeling hateful and nervous about dealing with his next move. Veer on the other hand stepped towards them, "Stay there only...don't come forward," Karishma warned him and he stopped his steps. He joined his hands, making a face filled with remorse and eyes wet with guilt; he said, "Beta, I have realized my mistake. I shouldn't have done this...I don't know what happened to me. I know I am not your real father but you always loved me and respect me like a real one. As much as I felt blessed with it, after a certain period of time your ultimate obedience and respect for me make me proud and arrogant. That's when Haseena entered, I don't know when I started feeling jealous of your love for her....i know it was stupid, there is nothing to be jealous of in this but until I realized that it was too late...Please beta please give me another chance, I cannot live without you...I have been devastated in all these days," by then he had been crying with hiccups, completely tear stricken that even Ammi's anger had melted down and Sandhya she had been pleading her son and daughter through her eyes for forgiving him. Haseena on the other hand was baffled seeing his expert acting skills, "My goodness!!! What an acting? Only if I don't know his reality I too must have been fooled but wait Karishma and Anubhav.." her thoughts went on the Karishma and Anubhav's feelings.

Anubhav and Karishma were now looking at each other and the truth is a piece of their heart was aching terribly seeing the one, whom they considered their father all their life, whom they still love like one, this much broken and repenting. "He is repenting, I can't see him like that...." Karishma thought looking at her brother with tears streaming down her eyes. "I know regardless of what he did to Haseena and my anger on him, I still can't see him broken like this," he too thought with his own wet eyes. They were talking through their eyes, their minds were giving decisions against him but their hearts were going through a continuous twitching pain. Both wiped their tears and nodded reaching a conclusion, together they announced their decision hearing which Haseena had closed her eyes though she knew it will happen, she doesn't want to face him. They said, "Before us, you did wrong to Haseena so you need to seek forgiveness from her only, her decision would be ours," that they looked at Ammi, requesting her to call Haseena, who nodded and called, "Haseena??"

Haseena who was a witness to all this were standing there with a pale face thinking, "Wow ammi!! Whom you should stop, you are feeling pity for him and whom you should not had stopped, you had punished them unnecessarily for one hour in hot weather, you are seriously unbelievable." However her anger-filled thinking was halted by another voice and she moved towards the lounge, coming out from her hideout.

As she was walking towards veer, their eyes met with each other and Haseena could clearly see through the veil of fake remorse. "Amazed by my acting skills, now you had to forgive me, either for your image or for your beloved Anubhav and Karishma who clearly had once again fallen in my trap.....after all, I am there father," Haseena could clearly understand his thoughts behind the grin in his eyes. "Ji ammi!!" She responded reaching near her and before she could react properly, she found veer's head in her foot which caused her to jump away, "What are you doing?" she at once said looking at a sudden pain in eyes of Anubhav and Karishma, from which perhaps they themselves have been unknown. "Please Haseena beta!! I had done very wrong to you, if you want you can slap me, punish me but please beta forgive me," Holding her feet he was continuously blabbering these things. Looking at Anubhav and Karishma, she made him lift his face, "uncle please first get up," just then she saw a sudden relief in their eyes, just like a sudden twitch and release of heart.

It did not take more than a second for her to realize that Anubhav and Karishma still somewhere love him and she had already expected this. She made him stand up and gave him a hug, "It's okay uncle!!" she said this loudly and then added meekly only audible to him, "Don't think you had amazed me, I knew you would play cheap like that only. Today I had lifted your head from my feet because Anubhav and Karishma are not aware of your real identity but trust me one day, they themselves will throw you on my feet and that day I will crush your arrogant bustard head under my feet." She warned him though smiling with gritted teeth.

"you know what you should be careful of with your stupid tongue and this stubborn attitude, don't push me to do that before time," in response to her challenge he had warned her only audible to her bringing her out of her hug putting a smiling and relived face in front of everyone.

"Thank you, thank you Haseena beta!! Sandhya you were right, Haseena had a very big heart." He said showing his over-excitement in his wet choking voice. Sandhya nodded giving him a genuine overwhelmed smile while Haseena moved a bit aside looking at Anubhav and Karishma who were seeing relieved as if someone had lifted a burden from them, "I know, you were too angry on him for insulting me but a fact is that it was just anger, the anger of children on their parents- a form of their love. And there is no point in doing anything unnecessarily especially when I won't let you be in this city more than a day," Haseena thought.

Both the brother-sister duo looked at her and at once run to her to hug her while poor Veer was left to wait for them with a plastered smile. In Haseena's arms both thanked her excitedly, "Thank you, Haseena for making everything alright...Thank you so much." Haseena gave Veer a grinning look while patting their head, indicating to her that, "look despite your every effort you could not break our bond."

While looking at them Veer was burning in anger, unable to understand if he had once again lost from Haseena. "Can I get a hug from my beloved son and daughter," he said opening his arms showing his fake longingness from them. Both Anubhav and Karishma ran to him and hugged her. After a few minutes, Veer requested, "Anubhav, Karishma beta now let's go home...that house is killing me without you both." "Of course Dad, we will come but in the evening right now we all had to reach to office, as from today Haseena and Karishma are re-joining," Anubhav responded. "Oh Excellent, congratulations beta." Veer said looking at Karishma and giving Haseena a grinning look and thought, "now try and escape from me, by the way, to whom you will save from me."
