Hi everyone, how are you all? Thank you so much for your best wishes for my exam and for waiting patiently for my next update. So, without any further delay let me take you on an emotional ride!!

Changed into casuals they returned to the lounge and find Sandhya there, "Auntie, where is Karishma?" she smiled and added, "In Anu's room, apparently she is upset with you Haseena." "With me? Why? Anyways I know how to lighten her mood." Haseena responded with a smile. "Haseena ji, I am going out for a short while until then woo your friend. We will have dinner together." Anubhav winked at her and she nodded chuckling.

Twisting the doorknob, Haseena entered the room pushing the door open in front of her only to find Karishma sitting on the edge of the bed putting her chin on her palms, with her back facing the door. A beautiful smile crept up her lips, climbing up the bed she reached to her and said engulfing her arms around her and putting her chin on her shoulder, "Sorry baby!!" an instant smile crept up her lips seeing Haseena there which she wiped off next instant, "Hunh!!!" jerking her hand away she stood up and moved towards the balcony, crossing her arms to her chest. Haseena moved towards her front, pulled her cheeks, and asked, "My sweeto, at least tell me why you had made this grumpy face." Freeing herself from her grip, she once turned away from her added, "you had planned a dinner date for you and Bhai and did not even inform me. I wanted to decorate you with my own hands." Haseena engulfed her in her arms, and whispered in her ear, "i did not know I was going to do that, I had planned it, as you both are leaving tomorrow." Regardless of how much Haseena had concealed her aching heart, Karishma had felt her voice shaking. She glanced at her through the corner of her eyes still in her hold, when Haseena moved her hands on her eyes and whispered, "Let's go, I had something for you....." "For me, you had planned a surprise for me too?" Karishma asked surprised. "Of course I had, today I want to pamper you to my heart's fill." She responded as they reached to the balcony attached to the room.

"Open your eyes, Karishma" she whispered in her ear facing her to the fence, removing her hands from her eyes. Excited to see what had she done for her, Karishma opened her eyes and smiled widely seeing the decorations. The whole balcony was decorated with multi-colored fairy lights starting from fence to plants placed there. In the center of balcony, there was a table above which a bunch of balloons were suspended in the air with threads. Haseena handed a toy gun to Karishma and said, "All of these, have something which will tell you how special you are for me...." Karishma was looking at all of these with her smile reaching from ear to ear, she instantly hugged her tightly and Haseena too had reciprocated her fully.

"Come on!!! I have full trust in your aim.....you can hit the target S.I. Sahiba!!!" Haseena teased her. "HaHaHa! Very funny....." she responded taking a toy gun from her hand. One by one she started aiming at all of them and within no time all the pieces of paper with messages fall on the table below. Karishma looked at Haseena who nodded at her with a smile and she moved towards the table, gathering all of them in the center she picked them up one by one and started reading them.

You are my soul sister, my best friend, and my life.

Karishma raised her eyes and met with hers giving her a nod, telling her that she means the same to her.

I cherish your friendship more than all the beauties of nature.

Once again she raised her eyes to see her which were wet, telling her how much she means those words. And she smiled fully seeing which Haseena's heart fluttered.

Fighting and bantering with you had made me meet the long-lost child in me once again, Thank you for never listening to my orders S.I. Sahiba.

Reading it she at once looks at her with her eyes wide open, "really??" And Haseena chuckled seeing her amazing reaction.

Whenever you feel lonely or sad, just close your eyes and feel your heart you will find me inside it, near you always.

Looking at her she said, "Why do I have to feel alone when you are by my side??" Hearing her Haseena can't help but laugh at her helplessness and amidst it, a tear dropped her eyes making Karishma wonder if she is laughing at her statement or crying in pain of separation and her own eyes get wet.

Your anger is like a powerful animal, tame it with your patience and love then use it at the right time against your enemies.

This time she looked at her and nodded with wet eyes, taking her advice.

Always remember that the most painful thing for your Haseena is to see your tears.....no matter what the situation is you will always stay strong for both of us.

Karishma looked at her and her eyes were telling her that something is not right, that something is more than just their leaving the next day for the conference, as much as she tried she can't read anything in her eyes.

For you, I can give away all I have with a smiling face- you are my gem.

An overwhelmed Karishma read the last message and ran into Haseena's arms, "I love you so much Haseena!!!" she mumbled and started sobbing. "I love you too my sweeto!!!" she responded with her own wet eyes tightening her hold in her embrace trying to hold her own palpitating heart.

She zipped their the last bag, standing between Anubhav and Karishma, "Done with your packing......now you both stay here and I will bring dinner for both of you." Haseena added and ran from the room holding her tears and avoiding raising her eyes too which were threatening to drop tears anytime. "Bhayya!!! I think we should talk to Haseena now only about what she is hiding? You have seen, she is doing everything as if we will never meet again." Karishma said to his brother looking at the way Haseena had just disappeared. "I think you are right, something is troubling her," Anubhav added as his mind was flashing with Haseena's abrupt behaviors from the past few days.

Sometime later, Haseena returned pushing a trolley, with a big smile plastered on her face, perfectly hiding outburst of tears behind her eyes that anyone could be fooled by her but not this brother- sister duo know her far more than believing her smile. They looked at each other and rolled their eyes, at her useless attempts. Serving in one plate she settled in between them and fed a morsel to both of them one by one, still not able to bring herself for looking in their eyes as she knew she won't be able to stop herself after that.

She forwarded another morsel towards Anubhav but instead of taking it, he had put it back on the plate, picked the plate from her lap, and placed it back on the trolley. "Anu??" Haseena asked a bit surprised. He pushed the trolley aside and both Anubhav and Karishma moved in front of her sitting on their knees. "what happened?" he asked. She shook her head in negative with lowered eyes. "What is the reason for tears you have been trying so hard to hide behind this fake smile of yours." Karishma added. "You know you can't fool us....come on Look here at me," Anubhav said raising her chin. Haseena raised her eyelids, "Haseena!!" they both gasped seeing her red wet eyes from which tears dropped down to her cheeks at that very moment. In the next instant, Haseena burst out crying heavily putting her arms around both of them and her head supported on the left and right shoulder of both of them.

They were rubbing her back, trying to calm her down but as much as they are trying her sobs have been getting louder and louder. No matter how strong she is, seeing her own dreadful future, helplessness for inability to change it, and pain of keeping most beloved souls in dark, she is not able to keep her emotions inside her any longer. Seeing her break down like this, their hearts were reaching their mouth, "Haseena!!! Please!!! What happened?" Karishma added with her own shaky voice and wet eyes. "Calm down, Haseena.....we are going for just one week, after that we will be together once again." Anubhav tried to calm her but his words had raised her hiccups and like fear overtook her she had tightened her hold around her, "No, No, please don't go....I won't be able to live without you...."

After a good half an hour, they both get successful in calming her down. Anubhav and Karishma were sitting in half-lying position on floored mattress taking support of sofa at the back while Haseena was in between them half lying with her back sharing both of their shoulder and chest still taking hiccups in between. "Haseena??" Anubhav called her kissing her head. "Hmm?" she responded with closed eyes. "Is there anything you have been hiding from us?" Hearing his sudden question, her eyes shot open, her breathing stopped and she had raised herself from them. Their doubt strengthened seeing her reaction. "Your reaction is telling that we are right, there is something you have not told us and it is the same thing which is troubling you," Karishma added from behind. They are unable to see her facial expressions, Haseena had closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and said turning towards them, "Anu, Karishma, you know I cannot lie to you. Yes, there is something but I cannot reveal it on you now, I promise once you return from your conference, you will get to know everything on your own." She added with a determined look in her eyes. "But Haseena??" Karishma tried. "No, this is not the right time....Do you both trust me?" she asked looking in both of their eyes. "Yes, more than our lives...." They responded. "Then keep two things in my mind, one that I would do nothing that let down my country or you, and secondly, no matter what the situation is, you will always find me right by your side be it in person or in your hearts and souls." She said looking in their eyes one by one. "Promise me we will always be together!!" Karishma said at once holding her hand. Haseena once looked at her hand and then at her eyes. A tear dropped again from her eyes, "I promise eventually we will be together." Haseena added and the three of them give each other a group hug. They spent that night without taking even a bit of sleep, talking and enjoying each other's presence.

Everyone was standing at the main gate of the veer mansion, luggage had already been placed in the car. Karishma and Anubhav were hugging Sandhya and Veer one by one bidding them goodbye while Haseena was standing a bit away, with her wet eyes and a faint smile. "Anu, take care of yourself and your sister. You both must take proper meals okay," Sandhya instructed placing her hand on Anubhav's head and patting Karishma's back while both of them nodded with an assuring smile. "Maa!! You need to take care of yourself too and you too papa!!" Anubhav reminded them and he added, "Of course beta!! And anyways, our Haseena Beti is here with us. I am sure she will fulfill all our wishes." Veer added giving Haseena an evil grin to which Haseena responded with a smile through her gritted teeth. "Anu, we should leave now, otherwise we won't be able to catch the flight," Haseena added and everyone nodded. "Okay, Aunty!! I will take care your leave too," Haseena said hugging Sandhya. Veer himself moved towards her and gave her a side hug saying, "Take care of yourself too, I know you will miss them badly but don't worry they will be back to us in a week," he said this loudly making Anubhav and Karishma happy that finally, their father had accepted Haseena. While under his breath only audible to Haseena he added, "If you want them to safely board the flight then I suggest you should sit at the back seat, away from their eyes." Haseena looked at him horrified and he waved his mobile in front of her, causing her to gulp her throat. "Let's go!!" Karishma added unaware of everything that transpired between them. Haseena turned towards them and started walking towards the car, fidgeting with the torturous bracelet.

Anubhav was driving while Karishma was sitting beside him and Haseena had seated herself on the back seat behind Karishma's seat in a way to conceal herself from the mirrors in front of them. There was complete silence in the car, all three were feeling the pain of separation and their eyes were wet but all were hiding their tears from another one, Anubhav had glued his eyes on the road while Karishma was shedding tears facing the window. Haseena had seated her head on the headrest of her seat with closed eyes through which tears are streaming down her cheeks and tightly pressing her mouth stopping herself from shrieking and tightly pressing her feet on the car floor to stop her body from jerking, as Veer had started shocking her once again.

Unaware of Haseena's condition behind his back, Anubhav had taken a deep breath and said still fixing his eyes strictly to the road, "Haseena!! I am very happy that finally, you are mine.....right after our return, I will send mom and dad to your Ammi to fix a date for our engagement." He said trying to lighten the atmosphere. Karishma too joined his brother in a hope of making this less painful, "Absolutely Haseena and this time I will deck you with my own hands for my brother...." Haseena who was hearing them, opening her eyes could not help but pass a suppressed sob at her helplessness. "Hmm...." She could only respond to that. After a few minutes, she added, "Karishma, switch on the F.M. please!!" she said amidst her choking voice. Karishma played on the F.M. radio and the song which was playing was coincidently depicting their state perfectly....

Veer's continuous shocks were telling her of her high chances of not being able to see them again, while her heart was thudding in her chest, yearning to live a life in Anubhav's arms, longing to laugh, play and fight with Karishma some more and her mind was flashing with the golden memories she spent with Anubhav, with Karishma and with both of them together.

All through this song, Anubhav was reminiscing his moments with the love of his life from before mission Jeet; their first encounter when his Gol-Gappa fell down, their horse ride, her fumbling seeing him, her proposal, their ice-cream date, their incomplete coffer date at midnight, her enjoying in tube-well, her accepting his friendship, her carefree laugh, her care for him and her amazing proposal right under the moon.

Karishma's was wondering over their seemingly impossible friendship starting from Haseena's entry into their Police station, Haseena's fight with her, their first hug after successfully defusing the bomb, her sit-ups in the middle of the road, her almost losing her as she injected virus in her at mission Jeet, her accepting suspension because of her, her taking the bullets for her, her care when Haseena was at her home after that torture case, her yearning for Haseena after she got to know about her being Qayamt, her very first expression of love and friendship on stage for cajoling her, their blasting night after that, their fun-filled gala moments with each other be it at veer mansion, or in the park where Haseena had wooed her in the most special way. She was wishing to live countless such moments with her.

Anubhav had applied breaks, "We reached the airport!!!" he added bringing everyone out of their thoughts. Hearing him through the microphone on Haseena's wrist, Veer had finally stopped giving her electric shocks leaving Haseena sweating profusely and panting heavily, completely drained out. She wiped her sweat taking out a tissue paper from her pocket, taking deep breaths she drank some water from the water bottle placed there only. And she was pressing her eyes with her fingers, when Anubhav looked back at her, "Haseena are you alright?" "Hmm....yes, absolutely!! Let's go!!" she added and they get down from the car.

Standing at the walk-through gate of the airport, Haseena hugged both of them one by one tightly, bidding them goodbye amidst shedding tears. Coming out of the hug, Anubhav and Karishma wiped her tears from each eye and said in unison, "Don't worry this is not forever, we will be back very soon." Taking their one hand in her both hands, she added looking directly into her eyes, "Whether I am by your side or not, promise me you will always take care of yourself and each other. Remember I am sending my heart and soul with you, keep it safe and you can only do that by keeping yourself safe." They responded by placing their other hand on hers, "Promise!!" and with that, they smiled.

They were walking towards the gate, Haseena was looking at them from behind when she remembered something and called them, "Anu, Karishma??" they turned hearing her voice. Stepping towards them she handed them a square box, "It is a gift from my side, open it after going inside, before boarding the flight." Taking it they nodded with a smile and wet eyes and Haseena too nodded back with a smile, waving them and saying, "Goodbye!!"

Entering inside the airport and after doing all formalities they were waiting for boarding their flight when Anubhav opened the box and found two small boxes and a letter inside it. He read and showed it to Karishma with overwhelmed eyes.

I know the watches on your wrist are gifts from your dad and you both never remove them that's why I could not muster up the courage to put this request directly to you. These boxes had two simple watches as a gift from my side. It's a request that you join the conference with these watches, I had its third pair with me, I want to feel you near me whole this while and trust me I had not put any trackers in it as I can understand that Ex- IO agent is back on his secret mission.....don't worry it will be a secret hidden in my heart. Please, put your dad's given watches in the same box and leave them there only and I promise you will get them back from the counter on the day of your return.

Startled and overwhelmed at the same time, Karishma looked at him, "How did she get to know this?" Anubhav chuckled, "She is smart indeed. What is your say on this, Should we?" he asked looking at the watches and Karishma nodded taking one in her hand. It was a simple and elegant silver-colored watch. "Yes, we should, I can't let down her innocent request and I think we should put our phones in that box too, switching them off because we cannot keep any traceable device with ourselves," Karishma added wearing Haseena's given watch in her wrist. Anubhav did the same agreeing to her and a few moments later, putting the box with their watches and mobile phones they boarded the flight. As soon as they went out of sight, a man suited in black three-piece came and picked up the box, he had put it in his bag and moved inside towards the boarding area. As Anubhav and Karishma boarded their flight to the USA, the man with the box had boarded towards Singapore not before messaging someone, "work done!!"
