Princess Annika is now 24 years old and she is already starting to feel like an actual queen.

She looked over at her colorful neon trolls on her balcony with a warm smile on her face.

She let out a small sigh on how much peace, love, and music is spreading over their kingdom.

She went back inside her room and looked over in her mirror, showing the confidence that she has.

She fogged up the mirror, wiped away that'll reveal her face and drew a crown over her head, showing herself what a great queen she'll be.

At age 24,  Princess Annika has grown into a beautiful young woman.

She has fluorescent periwinkle hair that flowed down to her tail, rainbow bands on her arms, and a coral headband resting comfortably on her side swept bangs.

Long story short, she was the most beautiful girl in the kingdom.

And with her coronation coming up, Princess Annika has to be prepared to ascend the Techno throne at any time.

Princess Annika: *sigh* One day, I'll know that I will be a great queen. *swims back to her balcony* You've got this, Annika.

But then she looked up and started to stare at the end of Techno Reef.

All she could see was blue water.

And now she's thinking about what's out there, outside the reef.

Those thoughts kept her so distracted that she didn't notice her mother knocking at her door or come into her bedroom.

Princess Annika: I wonder what's out there. Was I born in another reef?

Queen Marine: Annika? *sees her on the balcony staring at the end of the reef* Are you alright, sweetheart? What are you staring at?

Princess Annika: *snaps back into reality* Huh? Oh! Um...nothing. It's just...I'm curious.

Queen Marine: Curious? Of what?

Princess Annika: On what's out there on the other side of the reef. Have you or Daddy ever been out there, Mommy?

Queen Marine sighed and sat on her daughter's bed, knowing that this day would come. Patting the spot next to her, Queen Marine signaled her daughter to sit next to her. Annika obliged and sat next to her as te Queen began to explain.

Queen Marine: Look, many years ago when you were still a baby, me, your father, and the rest of our tribe have all been outside the reef. But it was a different kind of reef.

Princess Annika: Really? What was it like?

Queen Marine: At first, it was amazing and beautiful. But then, we were attacked by our frightening predators, the Sharks.

Annika looked at her mother in innocent confusion.

Princess Annika: Sharks?

Queen Marine: Mmm-hmm. You see, when they hunt us, it makes them all love music. So, they made a kingdom around our reef and once a year, they made a holiday that they called, Beast, Eat, Feast.

Princess Annika: How do you know this, Mommy?

Queen Marine: *makes a sad face and sighs* Because...when I was eight, *flashback scene* I was playing around with some friends, until the Sharks started their hunt. We tried to swim away, but we got tangled in some seaweed. We called our parents for help, and they came. They came to untangle us and fought back against the Sharks. I was relieved at first, but when I was about to hug my father...a Shark got to him first.

Kid Marine: DADDY!!

Queen Marine: ...I was terrified. SO, my mother took care of me for the rest of my childhood and teenage years. *end of flashback* After I married your father and became queen of the Techno Trolls, it was that year where we were cornered. And it was the Beast, Eat, Feast holiday. And you were about to make the Princess of the Sharks love music, but it was also the day where we made our escape. We all made it out, but I almost lost your father, but it's a good thing I didn't.

Princess Annika looked down with sadness.

She never knew her mother and father were very scared about what might happen if one of them left their home.

Then she looked back up at her mom.

Princess Annika: I...I never knew that's what happened when I was young.

Queen Marine: I was able to save your father. And I was hoping I could still save you. *hugs Annika*

Annika hugged her mother back and supported her protectiveness.

Queen Marine: So, Annika?

Princess Annika: Yes, Mom?

Queen Marine: Promise me and your father that you will not leave the reef. Well, at least you're old enough to do so.

Princess Annika: *looks at the window* I promise, Mom.
