*Melody Pov*

When we are fully near to the palace few guards abruptly stopped us from moving forward.

Amy and I looked at them in confusion along with my Father and guards. We all got down from the chariot and horses and walked forward.

A man walked outside the palace and stood there not stepping down from the few steps present which we need to get on to enter the palace.

"You all are not allowed anywhere near the palace. I got orders that you all to be sent back." His voice boomed and all the people of the kingdom surrounded us.

"We are here to meet King Ronald and Prince Kendrick." My father said with confusion but still stated his demand.

"Feel lucky to be leaving alive from here." That's all that man said.

"Connor! We need to talk to the King and Prince." My father said and then I realized that he is Kendrick's Uncle.

"Let me talk to them Connor." I heard some woman saying and we saw her coming towards us standing beside Connor.

"I am Queen Fay of this Kingdom. State what you want to." She said looking at us.

My Father controlled his temper and said "I am here to meet King and the Prince."

"Why?" She asked looking directly at him.

"I don't need a reason to meet my Son-In-Law." My Father replied fisting his hands.

"Son-In-Law? Then your daughter must be my Daughter-In-Law. Let me have a quick look at her." She said and then her gaze fell on mine.

I couldn't help but feel that her words are nothing but mocking towards us. But I stood my ground hoping Kendrick will come out and save us from this scrutiny.

"You all have the nerve to even enter these grounds after everything you did. It wouldn't take a minimal second to take away your lives but as per orders you all are need to be sent back." She said looking at me and my Father.

"Queen Fay! Can you please call Kendrick?" I asked her not able to stop myself.

"How dare you to call our Prince by his name? Leave these grounds right now." I heard Connor shouting.

"I don't know what is happening here Queen Fay but please call my husband." I said ignoring his words.

"Did you hear her Sister? She is addressing our Prince as her husband. Then what about his Future wife Bess?" Connor asked mocking making me gasp.

Future wife? But he is already wedded to me then how can he marry another person.

"What is going on here?" I heard my husband's voice bringing me out of my dreading.

"Kendrick! What is happening here?" I immediately asked him with joy finally seeing him and worry hearing all these.

"Uncle Connor! Didn't I ask you to send them back immediately?" He asked his Uncle not even looking at me.

"Why do we need to waste the chance Prince? We can finish them off." One of the people from the crowd around us said.

Few more supported the thought and started throwing different words at us. I shivered seeing how the people of the land which I thought to be my future and forever home want nothing but my life.

"Enough!" Kendrick's voice boomed around the area.

I looked at him expectantly thinking he will say everyone that I am their Future Queen and they shouldn't say such things.

But he is not even glancing at me. He looked at his Uncle nodding and started going inside.

"Kendrick! Atleast call King Ronald. I am sure he will help me." I said before he walked inside.

He looked at me in shock but composed himself immediately. He turned toward my Father and said "You must leave my grounds King Albert. Otherwise there would be consequences."

My Father too shocked to say anything turned towards us and shouted "Everyone get on your rides. We are leaving."

I shook my head thinking I can't leave. Why should I leave from here? This is my home and he is my husband.

I stood my ground but Amy slowly moved me back towards my chariot and got me inside it.

While she is dragging me I just continued to look at him hoping he will look at me atleast once and see the hurt, pain and shock I am feeling right now but he didn't.

I looked around to see everyone just looking at me with anger and hatred. Why? What have I done to them?

Slowly the chariot started moving and I tried to jump out of it but Amy held me who is just sniffing beside me.

"I can't leave him Amy. I can't leave him." I continuously chanted looking at him.

"Melody! You need to be strong. I am sure everything will be fine." Amy said holding me.

No! If I leave now everything will never be fine. I need to stay here with him in his palace beside him.

But I couldn't say those words out. How could I after what just happened?

I placed my head on Amy's shoulder and slowly let my tears to release one after the other.

*Juan Pov*

After meeting my parents who live far away from the kingdom peacefully I took an easy way and reached the palace to see Connor and Queen Fay walking inside but Kendrick is just standing near the steps looking far away.

"Kendrick! Is Queen Melody inside the palace?" I asked him smiling.

"They are going back Juan." He replied looking at me and then I saw a huge crowd moving away.

"What do you mean Kendrick? What is the reason for it?" I asked him confused.

"Juan! Go with them and stay with her." He said fisting his hands.

"What?" I asked him even more confused.

"This is my order as your Prince Juan. Go with them right now and always stay with her." He ordered and I bowed to him.

I can't ignore his order even if I don't know what is happening here. So I got on my horse and started riding as fast as I can and I finally saw the chariot of Melody.

"Queen Melody!" I shouted and reached the chariot to see her crying silently leaning on Amy's shoulder.

I looked around to see that we are out of Hulind's border and then observed everyone along with the king stopping their rides.

"What happened Queen Melody?" I asked her concernedly.

Amy threw a glare at me and hugged Melody even more like she is protecting her from me. I looked at her completely shocked.

"Bind him guards!" I heard King Albert ordering his guards.

"What?" I asked him terrified.

"If your Prince thinks he can do whatever he wishes then he is wrong. I will make everyone pay for this insult and it will start with you." His voice boomed.

"What are you talking about King Albert?" I asked him moving back.

"Bind him!" he said those two words and I got immediately surrounded by the guards who came with us.

I could fight them with ease but then I couldn't be with Melody like Kendrick asked so I surrendered to them without any fight.

I don't care whatever that happens to be but atleast I need anyone of them tell me what exactly is happening so that I can know the reason behind my binding.

After they tied me with the ropes, they tied my horse to one of theirs. And then they started their journey just making me sit on my horse calmly.

This time everyone is seething with anger and no one wanted to stop to camp atleast one time. Because of that we are in Velimar Kingdom soon.

Everyone looked at us and mainly at Melody because she was supposed to be living in Hulind and not return here except for occasions.

When we were infront of the palace Amy brought Melody out of the chariot and started walking inside the palace.

"Amy! Just tell me what happened." I pleaded her.

She turned and just gave me a final glance before walking away. I just looked at them until they are completely out of sight.

I was immediately dragged towards the underground prison of the Kingdom and got thrown inside one cell.

"You will rotten to death here." Saying that the guards walked away.

I held the bars in my hands and shouted "Atleast tell me what actually happened."

I didn't expect any answer so I didn't get disappointed and sat on the small slab in the cell.

Kendrick! What have you actually done my friend?

I contemplated so much whether to continue with the story i thought but i continued with it....

So what is actually happening here?

What happened to Kendrick? and where is King Ronald?

And Juan is in prison but dont even know what is happening.

As per Melody i hope you guys can feel her shock and hurt....
