*Melody Pov*

"Princess! Are you listening?" I heard the faint words which successfully brought me out of my thoughts.

"Use my name while calling me when we are atleast alone Amy." I replied with a small smile on my face.

"Princ.. Melody! His Highness is asking for you as it is time." She replied hesitantly.

"Already! I can't swallow that these few days have passed in a flash." I murmured slowly.

"Where is Agnes?" I asked her glancing around my chamber.

"She will be here in a second." Amy whispered and I nodded.

"Melody! Are you ready dear?" I heard Agnes voice entering my chamber.

"Agnes!" I said and hugged her while she soothed me patting my back.

"I know dear! I can understand but we don't have anything to stop it right." She said and I nodded stepping back.

"You are such a strong women Melody just like your Mother. You even have the strength to soothe others pain." She said caressing my cheek.

"I don't have any strength Agnes." I said not accepting her words.

"You just have to sing something with your melodious voice Melody. It will soothe any pain of anyone's." She said smiling proudly at me.

"And you are doing all this just for your people and that is very great Princ... Melody." Amy said making me chuckle.

"Shall we leave? Everyone must be waiting to see our beautiful princess." Agnes said and we all started to leave.

But Amy abruptly asked "She is going to be our Queen too right?"

"True! But until she is presented infront of the people of Hulind kingdom she will be Queen only for us." Agnes cleared away Amy's confusion.

We walked outside my chamber and to the vicinity where a stage is placed to conduct the nuptials.

"You both stay here. I will go and see when you need to be presented infront of the people for the nuptial." Agnes said and left Amy and me behind the stage.

Few minutes later we both heard a new voice asking "Are you sure about this?"

We both turned to see Prince Kendrick standing behind us. Amy was the first one to compose herself and backed away until she is behind me and glanced at the floor.

"Shall I give privacy Melo.. Princess?" Amy asked and I wish I could chuckle out loud.

As for the first time she was about to utter my name itself but couldn't do it as we are under the sight of a Prince.

"It's ok Amy. We shouldn't meet alone just before the nuptials." I replied smiling at her.

"What do you want to know Prince Kendrick?" I asked him not looking at him.

"Are you sure about this wedlock Princess Melody?" He asked not walking towards me which he shouldn't as he should be at a distance.

"Isn't it too late to know my views about my wedding Prince Kendrick?" I asked before I could stop myself and I can hear Amy's gasp.

"I know Princess. It was not the good thing to do without your consent but everything moved swiftly that I couldn't get your consent for this. It is not too late to back away." He replied in gentle tone ignoring my rude question.

And for the first time I glanced up and looked directly into his eyes. In them I can read nothing but sincerity.

Maybe he is good for my kingdom along with me. Maybe this is destiny. Just maybe...

"You have my consent Prince." I said shyly when I realized that I am staring at him.

He nodded and left us there alone. I couldn't help but let a smile pass on my face thinking that he actually wanted my consent before he can wed me.

"Are you happy now Princ... Melody?" Amy asked and I turned towards her smiling.

"Melody! They are asking for you." Agnes said walking towards me.

I nodded and started walking towards the front of the stage with happiness covering the sadness that filled my heart.

When we stood infront of each other I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine even while the vicar saying the vows which we are taking.

"I do." We both said one after the other and then the moment came where we have to share our first kiss as a Man and wife.

He slowly bended and I stopped my breath right and there. He pecked my cheek and moved back.

I cannot be more grateful to him. Because even though it is part of the ritual, having your first kiss infront of all the people in the kingdom is not the thing I would choose any day.

I looked at him with gratitude and he smiled nodding in a way gesturing that he can understand.

After the nuptials my father and the King Ronald stood between us and said "Your King Kendrick and Queen Melody."

There were cheers, merriment and glee all over the crowd. They are worth it more than anything.

Then I was ushered to my chamber while my husband Prince Kendrick was ushered with both our fathers to the counsel room for the celebrations.

Even though we both are King and Queen we are not to be called by that until we are presented infront of Hulind Kingdom but for each and one of us we already are.

I sat infront of my reflector and glanced at the girl I have been transformed into with the prettiest gown I have. The other maids who helped Amy in my grooming have only few words to say like 'Prince is gone', 'There will be no sleep for them'.

But they forgot one simple thing and that is I can hear their words that too with clearance.

After that I got a surprise visit from none other than Candice and I didn't even try to hide my surprise.

"I know you must be feeling amazed for you to see me here." She said with a smirk evident on her face.

"You didn't say." I said stopping myself from rolling my eyes but in the end they didn't heard my pray and rolled themselves.

"Well I am here to give you some word of advices for your wedding night." She said looking around the simple decorations in my room.

"I don't need any advices from you Candice." I said in disapproval.

"Why? I have lot of experience." She said shrugging.

"That I know." I said before I could control myself.

"You need to keep that tongue in control infront of your husband." She said seething.

"Glad to know. Now can you please leave Candice." I asked her politely.

"Fine! I am leaving and you are not worth to know my advices." She said fuming and turned to leave.

But before leaving completely she turned and said "Just an advice Melody. Keep a grip on your man and satisfy him. Because there are and there will be many who may do that duty of yours to him."

Hearing that I know one thing for sure that this is going to be printed in my mind forever. I don't want the fate which my mother had got but can I run away from it.

My thoughts were disturbed by someone entering my chamber and closing the door. I looked up to my husband looking at me back after closing the door.

I suddenly felt nervous; shyness and everything at a time which made me turn away from him abruptly.

I heard him walking towards me slowly and I can hear each step he took. And by the each step he is taking I am feeling each beat missing in my heart.

Can I get some time before we even move to this step in marriage? I don't know him and he don't know me then how can we.

Should I just ask him aloud that I need some time? But how can I ask that and that too to a Prince. His ego will get hurt and I have heard the horrified stories about what a Man do to his wife if his ego gets hurt.

But those are old stories right? Can they become true even now?

I am Princess and a Queen. I can stop him from doing anything wrong to me. If I can't do that then I don't deserve to be anything to this kingdom.

All these thoughts continued to run in my head and I felt his breathing on my neck. And then I felt the most sensitive kiss on my nape which made me gasp.

I shivered when I felt even more kisses along the nape. Why am I feeling like this with just a few kisses? Is something wrong with me?

I felt his hands on my shoulders and I was turned around slowly. Then I looked at his face to see that he is also feeling nervous.

Feeling this nervous he actually pestered those kisses then what will he do when he doesn't feel any nervousness?

He slowly placed his palm on my cheek and held my face with that one hand. Then he bent down to place a kiss on my lips but I moved my face away making him kiss on my cheek.

He chuckled and said "Let me kiss you."

I don't know why I moved my face so that he can have his wish. Maybe by hearing the soft feeling in his words so I did allowed him.

He placed his lips on mine making me close my eyes and slowly started nibbling them and tracing them with his tongue.

I gasped yet again at the feeling and he passed his tongue making me lose my senses. I held him tightly not being able to bear the kiss he is giving.

Slowly we parted and I felt him continue his kisses along my neck. And then he moved me towards my bed.

He gently laid me and looked at me with passion which made me close my eyes again. I felt him on me and he just kissed me many times that I have even lost the count along with myself to him.

And finally I let him drive me through the passion which I never thought even exist at all. I followed his words and I would be happy to believe that I too gave him the same passion.

In the end I just laid blissfully with his arm around me and my head on his heartbeat which is still beating fast matching mine.

I blushed thinking of the reason because of which they are beating like this and snuggled even closer to him asking the sleep to consume me fast so that I can stop my blushing.

Sleep indeed listened to me and saved me from blushing more than which I have already been doing.

This story is nothing but a experiment to me guys. It is very hard for me to write this type but i am also gaining some knowledge while writing it. As i am using the synonyms dictionary to use not the obvious words and use atleast words with little historic sense.

I know the story is not completely historical in the way of my writing maybe but i am trying to give my best.
