*Kendrick Pov*

"Why are we having a stroll today?" Melody questioned me confused.

"I wanted to spend some time." I replied and she glanced at me surprised.

I placed my arm around her and pulled her towards me while she just stiffened with wide eyes glancing at me.

"You shouldn't! This is not a private place." She whispered looking around.

"I am holding my wife and I am sure there is nothing wrong in that." I said with a shrug.

"I.. I.." she just trailed of and must be not knowing what to utter.

She looked quite cute so I placed a small peck on her cheek and her eyes widened even more.

"King Kendrick! I need to go." Saying that she released herself from my grip and walked away.

All these days I have been trying to show that I like her but she is distancing herself from me again.

I walked towards Juan who is training Shan and smiled at them. Shan is working really hard and Juan is pushing him so much.

"Sir! I can't breathe." Saying that Shan backed away.

"You need to always prepare Shan. You can't just back away. I am not going to be relieved thinking about my god son if you are backing away in this manner." Juan barked at Shan.

"God son?" Shan asked confused.

"Our Prince is my god son and you are his protector dimwit." Juan replied in complete irritation.

"What? How can you even decide that?" Shan shouted at Juan for the first time.

"Juan told me that you want to be like him to this Kingdom." I said walking towards them fully and they both glanced at me.

"Yes!" Shan said nodding.

"Juan is my protector and if you had to be like him then you should be the Prince protector. That is why you are his and I decided it." I said and his face went bright.

"I am feeling so honored with a duty which is so precious. Thank you so much King." Shan said grinning.

"Now practice what I have taught you. I will return in few minutes." Saying that Juan left.

"How is our Queen?" Shan asked.

"She is fine!" I replied sighing.

"Is there any problem?" Shan asked frowning.

"She is not talking to me properly." I replied sighing again.

"I liked some girl before but she didn't talk to me. So I made her jealous by talking with someone else and she then marched towards me saying she likes me too." Shan said after few minutes.

"You are asking me to make my Wife jealous?" I asked him surprised.

"Yes! Then she will march towards you saying she likes you too." He replied and Juan reached us.

"Juan! Did you ever try to make Amy jealous?" I asked him curiously.

"Yes! Then she gave me a kiss which still makes me feel awestruck. But why are you asking me that?" Juan asked confused.

"No reason!" replying to him I walked back inside the palace knowing fully that one person will help me in this.

*Melody Pov*

"You are looking so beautiful Melody." Amy's compliment brought me out of my thoughts.

I have been thinking about the way Kendrick is behaving. He never did anything like today before even when we were in Velimar.

He is making it hard for me to not think about my love for him. Maybe I should confess to him that and see what happens.

"What are you thinking?" Amy asked and then fidgeted with her hands.

"Nothing! What happened?" I asked her frowning.

"Candice is here along with your Father." She replied and I glanced at her in shock.

"Well we can't do anything about it now can we?" I said getting up.

"She may try to upset you but do not give her any thought." Amy advised while we were walking down the stairs along with my Son.

I nodded at her and started to walk towards Kendrick who is greeting the guests but stopped when a person placed a hand on my shoulder.

I turned to see Candice standing infront of me with a smirk on her face. She glanced down at my Son and turned fury.

"Good to see you after a long time Candice." I said smiling at her.

"So how are you feeling to be Queen of two Kingdoms which you do not even deserve?" She asked with smug look.

"I cannot explain it in words because we need to experience it to know how it feels." I replied not letting the smile drop from my face.

"You! Anyway.. that's all you will have in your hands. Your Son will be nothing but an heir and then your husband will also be not with you." She said waving her hand smiling.

"My Son will be an heir but also will remain my Son and my Husband will make sure that it will happen." I said with confidence which I never knew.

"Hmm.. what if someone else caught his attention?" She asked glancing behind me.

"Impossible!" I replied shaking my head.

"Oh but it is." Whispering that she turned me around and I saw him dancing with Bess.

There is nothing wrong in dancing but what I am watching is he is flirting with her sweetly and she is blushing. No this can't be true! I thought gulping.

"So atlast got to put a face on your Husband's mistress then." Candice words brought me to reality.

I turned towards her and gave a advice which no daughter would give for her Father's mistress.

"First think about your security Candice. When my Father can replace my Mother with you then he can do the same again. So be aware of your surroundings." When I uttered those she gaped at me in shock and I turned walking towards my dear husband.

*Kendrick Pov*

"No thanks! I would like to dance with her only for now." I politely rejected another lady and Bess chuckled.

"What is with these women? Even after knowing that I am married they are trying to flirt with me." I said shaking my head.

"Well if you had danced only with Queen then they would have not. But now as you are dancing with me they think there is position available other than your wife in your life." Bess explained.

"Oh! I just wish she gets jealous soon and I can tell her that I love her." I said smiling.

"Why can't you do it directly? This looks all silly to me." Bess said frowning.

"I just can't open my mouth infront of her when I wanted to say these words as she had built a wall around her. Now when she will be little angry and possessive I can tell her. This seemed to work many times." I said assuring her.

"Can I have a dance?" I heard someone asking me from behind but the voice is not that clear with the music being played by the experts.

"No! I am quiet busy." I replied and Bess eyes went wide.

"Kendrick.." She started to say.

"No Bess! No one should disturb us." I said smiling at her thinking if I dance with someone else then Melody may not take this serious.

"What in the devil name have you done?" Bess asked moving away from me.

"What happened?" I asked her confused.

"It was Melody!" She replied.

"What?" I asked her shocked and turned to see Melody rushing along the stairs holding our son.

"I never expected this from you King Kendrick. She was giving straight out answers that you will never have a mistress to that Candice but you just had to do this to make her insecurity win." Amy calmly said not raising her voice.

"Juan said it is better to make the person we like jealous. So I did this but tell me her insecurity." I questioned her.

"Juan gave you this advice? He is finished today." Muttering to herself she walked away.

"You need to go to her." Bess said and I immediately started walking towards the stairs but the guests stopped me to talk about the Kingdom new plans.

*Melody Pov*

When he said he doesn't want anyone to disturb them I wanted to just break down there itself. But I couldn't so I rushed to my room telling Fay that I am not feeling well.

I thought I will not get her fate but I guess I cannot run from it. I still cannot believe that he can actually even do this.

He respects me right then why would he do this. No matter what happens I will not sit back and behave that everything is fine going on around me.

I let the tears fall and lay down to drift off into sleep. Then I heard the door opening after so much time.

I felt him placing a peck on my forehead and to our son. When he walked outside the room closing the door I opened my eyes.

He needs to know that I will not let anything be normal if he do this. Brushing away my tears I walked towards his room and opened it without knocking.

*Kendrick Pov*

After returning to my Chamber I brushed my hand through my hair. I need to tell her tomorrow about today's event.

Then I heard my door opening and turned to see Melody walking inside with blank look.

"Melody.." I started to say but she cut me off saying "Can I make a request?"

I nodded and she asked "Will you let me know when you let another women warm your bed?"

I just got stunned in my roots not believing what I am even hearing. I composed myself a little and asked "Why?"

"So that I can stop warming your bed." Replying that she walked outside and it definitely took me few minutes to recover.

I rushed to her room before she can lock it and entered the room with full rage. She glanced at me with shock.

Placing a hand around her waist and holding her hair with the other, I pulled her hair a little to make her look at me as I was standing with no space between us.

"My hands touched only you and they will touch only you. To your question I will prefer my bed cold if you are not the one that is warming it." Saying that I planted my lips on hers kissing her with no control.

"Why?" She whispered when I released her.

"Because I love you dimwit." I replied.

"I..." she started to say in utter shock but I backed away from her saying "Do not worry! I will not touch you until you ask me to."

I walked inside my chamber and locked the both doors in my room feeling the need to just do something to make this anger go away. I heard the knocks but I didn't open them and I didn't even heard whatever she was saying.
