*Melody Pov*

"Amy! Did you see this?" I asked her standing infront of my mirror.

"What?" She asked confused.

"I am showing." I replied.

"I saw that week back Melody." Amy said and walked back to proper my bed.

"When will they sign the agreement Amy?" I asked her glancing at her.

"Why?" I heard Kendrick ask who entered my room.

"Nothing!" I mumbled turning away.

"She doesn't think she will be Queen for Velimar until the agreement is signed." Amy replied making me threw a glare at her.

"What? But why?" He asked again.

"Because I was stripped off from my status and no one can be posted back at it again." I replied.

"Was it in writing?" He asked frowning.

I glanced at him through the mirror and said "Yes!"

"You should have informed me before. We would have done it in the last month when we came here." He said sighing rubbing his forehead.

"Father wants to meet you. He is in the library." He added.

I nodded and followed him out of my room. When we entered the library I saw his parents along with Bess inside the room.

I sat in the chair infront of my Father-in-Law and smiled at him to which he smiled back.

"It's been one month since you returned but I am meeting you properly now." He said chuckling.

"Are you well....?" I trailed off not know how to address him.

"You can call me Father or by my name." He said challenging me.

"Sir! How are you feeling?" I asked him and he laughed.

"I am feeling well Melody. So you cannot even call me as your Father? I thought you will as I know you will not call me with my name." He asked smiling.

"That word has no meaning for me anymore Sir." I replied.

"Father! Melody said she was stripped of the status in writing not just a word. Now she can't be Velimar's Queen until we sign the agreement." Kendrick said and Ronald nodded.

"We will leave today then." Sir Ronald said.

"I do not need to be there with you all right?" I asked him with hope.

"No! Kendrick and I are enough. You shouldn't travel much in this condition." He replied and I nodded at him.

"You can talk to me whenever you wish Melody." He added looking at my expression.

I immediately glanced down and nodded at him. I excused myself and went inside my room.

In the evening I heard a knock to see Kendrick standing there yet again. I nodded at him as a greeting and he entered the room.

"We are leaving for the Velimar. You will be fine here right?" He asked.

I nodded and waited for him to leave but he didn't.

In a flash I felt him hugging me and I closed my eyes stopping them from going wide. He hugged me with even more tightness and released me frowning.

Then placed his hand on my stomach and felt the bulge I have been seeing from one week.

"You didn't tell me?" he asked smiling and caressed it.

"I want to feel it more but I need to leave. Will be back here soon." He said and left the room missing my sigh.

Again the same words and again the same action of coming late will happen. I shook my head and waited for Amy.

*Kendrick Pov*

"We will return soon Father." I said at the moment we got down from our chariot infront of the palace.

"Already? I thought you would want to receive all the attention you will get from our new Kingdom." He said shaking his head smiling.

"I am feeling nothing but anger on them Father. They tried to hurt my wife." I said with gritted teeth.

"And we have half the fault in it. Melody has the right to be angry but you need to try and move on for both of you. You are the new King here Kendrick so don't forget your responsibilities." He said patting my shoulder.

"Any how she is safe with us in our Kingdom so need not worry about it." He added.

I reluctantly nodded and we both walked inside the council room. I still don't know why my Father didn't get a council for our Kingdom but after hearing what loss they may do I don't even want a council.

"Roland! How are you faring?" Albert said smiling at us.

"I am faring well. My Son is taking care of everything and I need not worry about anything." My Father replied.

"As per the agreement we got a conclusion for everything. Why don't we build a palace in the land which we are gaining by this for new King and Queen?" My Father suggested.

"Why do they need it? They can stay at your Palace." Albert said.

"But they need to take care of this Kingdom too. And by this new Palace they can reach to both Kingdoms with ease." My Father said.

Albert sighed and said "I agree! So shall we sign?"

We all signed and then were about to leave but they stopped us for the celebration. We thought to leave the very next day but got stopped to tell us what exactly happens in the Kingdom at every level.

As my duty I had to stay here for one whole week. I am going to miss her for sure.

*Melody Pov*

"So he is going to return today night. I got a message from the messenger he had sent." Juan said and I nodded at him.

"But he stayed there for one week. Was it necessary?" Shan asked frowning.

"He must have stayed back for his duty Shan. He is the new King and he need to know about everything about Velimar." I replied.

"You can call it as your Kingdom again melody." Amy said smiling at me.

"What I didn't understand is why would Albert send you away even after taking away your status in writing?" Juan asked.

"For fear!" Amy replied.

"How do you know?" Juan asked her.

"Melody! I told you right how I heard few maids talking how it will be very dangerous for Velimar to go into a war as there is no Princess anymore except for the heir?" Amy asked me.

"I very well remember. So if their King died in the war then the Kingdom would have gone into the hands of their enemy. So they washed their hands when King Kendrick asked to take me along with him." I explained Juan what was the actual reason for sending me away even after I have no status.

"And now you became the Queen to Velimar?" Shan asked smiling and I nodded which made him give himself proud smile. We three along with Amy are taking a stroll in the garden.

"You are very intelligent Shan. But you should not trust on one person to train you. Go near some other and I am sure you will do more than fine." Amy said and Juan glared at her.

"Amy! I have waited for more than a month for you to give me a chance to explain what actually happened and you taunts are not helping me to give you more time." Juan threatened her and she rolled her eyes at him.

"That's it!" He said and held her hand leaving my elbow while she shouted at him.

"Juan! Leave that poor girl." I heard the order from Fay who is also taking a stroll along with Bess.

"It's ok Fay! She needs to know the truth and she will not hear it until Juan do something like this." I said and they nodded.

"Juan! I have trust on you so don't hurt her." I said threatening him in serious tone and he nodded smiling.

"No Melody! You can't leave me alone with him." Amy said shouting at me.

"No one will hurt you Amy. Just listen to him." I said as I already heard what actually happened to him when he came here escaping from Velimar.

She pouted at me but screamed when Juan started dragging her. She screamed loud saying "Someone save me. He is taking me away to kill me."

When she said that, he lifted her into his arms and walked inside the palace. I smiled but hoped she gets to know everything and stop hurting herself.

As it was getting dark, we all started walking inside. I am feeling a little weak so Shan held my elbow with his to give me support.

When we were about to get inside, we heard the horses sound and turned to see the chariot coming this way.

"Kendrick is here." Bess said happily and I held on to Shan gripping his arm.

I am also happy for his return but I just couldn't express it hearing her. I don't want my Mother's life for me no matter what. I thought remembering Candice.

Ronald and Kendrick got down from the chariot and walked towards us. Kendrick's eyes immediately caught mine and I glanced away.

"How was the journey?" Fay asked.

"It was good!" Ronald said.

"Melody! I will meet you in my bedchamber." Saying that he walked away.

As for me I stood there rooted with four pairs of eyes looking at me in surprise. Why does he have to say that and that too infront of everyone?

I excused myself and went inside my room with the help of Shan. He left nodding at me and I sat on my bed. As I was feeling hungry I already had my Dinner and all I need to do is to sleep.

But he asked my presence in his chamber. What should I do now? I thought gulping.

If Amy was here I would have asked for her advice but I know she must be with Juan and clear all the misunderstandings.

But again what should I do? I thought holding my head still sitting on my bed.
