*Juan Pov*

"It's been two weeks from the time I have given you the task. What have you been doing all this time?" I asked him trying my best to not lose the little sanity I have left.

"I tried everything I can Sir. But many guards are blocking me each time." Shan replied looking down.

It's already been a month and I have not done anything. Not even a single thing to make sure Kendrick knows everything.

I am relieved at least a little that there was no war being thrown yet. But I am sure that Connor will do everything to change that and have his way.

"Shan! If you do not take my message near our Prince today then I will back away from my word." I threatened him.

"No, no Sir. I will do it by today and will not fail in this." He immediately uttered going pale.

"Good! Now go and do it." I ordered him.

"Juan is in Prison because of Connor. Juan is in Prison because of Connor." He started repeating it walking away.

"You Dimwit! Why are you saying it out loud?" I shouted at him.

"So that I cannot forget it Sir. Because of which I am still remembering it." He replied smiling proudly.

"Now I understand why the guards are stopping you." I mumbled to myself.

"No matter what happens that message must be come out of your mouth only infront of our Prince. Otherwise you will lose badly." I said forcing each word and he nodded understanding god knows what.

"Now go!" I said rubbing forehead.

"Yes sir!" he said and left the Prison.

God please show some mercy atleast on Melody.......

*Kendrick Pov*

"For how many days will you sit here idle, Kendrick?" Bess asked placing the new herb paste on my Father's wounds.

"Until he wakes up!" I replied curtly.

After applying when she was about to leave I felt his fingers move and I immediately got up looking at Bess nodding at her.

"I will go and give this good news to everyone. My Father will be ecstatic when he hears this." She said was about to step out of the room.

"No! Don't leave this room." I shouted at her.

"What?" She asked me confused.

"I mean leave this room only to call my Mother here but do not tell her what is happening actually. And do not give even slightest notice or anything to make others get even a little suspicion." I replied.

"But why?" She asked me even more confused.

"These are my orders. And I want you to fulfill them properly." I replied like any King would and she immediately nodded.

"If these are not followed then there will be punishment." I added to which she looked shocked because I am her friend and here I am threatening her.

I held my Father's hand and whispered "Wake up Father! It's been so long and many lives depend on you."

My Mother returned with confused look coving her face along with Bess. I gestured Bess to close the door of her medicinal room and lock it.

"What is happening, Kendrick?" My Mother asked worriedly.

"Ask him to wake up Mother." I replied showing her his moving fingers.

In a flash she stood beside him and asked him to wake up holding his other hand. Then few minutes later he slowly opened his eyes.

I took the liquid Bess offered me and make him drink it. I can see my Mother want to hug him but she can't with our presence.

I want to give them their privacy but there are even more important matters to deal with.

"Father! Who attacked you?" I asked him even though I have an idea but I don't want to accept it.

"You shouldn't stress him Kendrick." Bess said looking at us.

"No! I need to know now." I said and turned towards my Father.

"Co..nnor! Connor attacked me." When those words escaped my Father's mouth, there were two gasps in the room.

"How?" I asked him holding my sword with firm to stop myself from leaving this room.

"I was returning... from the Vel..imar and reached nea..r Hulind then I saw him coming towards me. I told him everything while we both started traveling back." He said and coughed.

"When he listened to everything, he suddenly stabbed me repetitively until I heard some faint horse footsteps. Then I was suddenly engulfed by darkness." He added and I saw Mother and Bess falling on the floor on their knees.

"He will pay Father. He will pay for everything." Saying that I started to leave.

"Where is she?" He asked making me stop.

"Where is my Daughter-In-law?" He added making both my Mother and Bess look at him wide eyed.

"She is in her Kingdom safely Father." I replied and he nodded smiling for the first time after opening his eyes.

"I want her to be here soon." He said smiling and I nodded at him.

I walked outside the room and shouted for all the guards to come near me as soon as possible.

Then I asked one Guard to call my Uncle and he immediately left to call him. My Uncle returned with a grin on his face.

"Heard that you have assembled all our guards. Are we going on a war?" He asked with triumph look.

"We are definitely going on a war." I replied with gritted teeth and hit him on his head with the back of my sword.

"What are you doing, Kendrick?" He asked terrified.

"It's Prince Kendrick for you. And I am doing what I supposed to do to the person who injured my Father, the King of this Kingdom." I replied shouting each word so that all the guards will listen to him.

"He.. he is awake?" He asked in terrified whisper.

"He is! Now it is time for you to pay Connor and that is not a simple pay." I replied and asked guards to bind him.

"Er.. Prince?" I heard someone calling me.

"What?" I barked at the kid infront of me.

"Uhmm.. I.. have a message." He replied stuttering.

"Did you not see that we are doing an important work here?" I barked at him again.

"But... if I do not pass the message then I will never serve the Kingdom like Sir Juan." He suddenly shouted at me and in a flash his eyes went wide.

"I am so..sorry Prince Kendrick. Please do not kill me." He said trembling.

"What is the message?" I asked him hearing Juan's name.

"The message is that.. that Juan is in Connor because of Prison." He replied and immediately sighed in relief.

"What?" I asked him.

"Juan is in Connor because of Prison." He repeated and then pace palmed himself.

"That's why I told Sir I need to say the message out loud otherwise I will forget it. Now see what I have done." He said with a groan.

"Juan is in Prison? But he is supposed to be near her." I mumbled to myself and saw few Guards looking down in shame.

"Take me near Juan right now." I ordered the Kid and followed him when he started moving.

I asked the guards binding the Connor to follow us. Inside the Prison we reached the last cell to indeed see Juan slumping form on the slab.

"Open the cell!" I ordered the Guard and he opened it with trembling hands hearing my bark.

Juan walked out and went near that kid hugging him. I am surprised because I thought he will hug me.

"Thank you so much Shan. I will keep my word not to worry about it." Juan said and the kid nodded with nearly tears forming in his eyes.

"Put him behind the bars." I ordered the guards and they immediately pushed Connor inside.

When they were about to remove the binds, I stopped them saying "Those will be not removed until I give you all any order."

"I know you all have followed his orders until now. If anyone wants to be loyal to him then throw yourself inside the cells or leave the Kingdom. Otherwise when I find those unfaithful people to the Kingdom they will be punished to their deaths." I said each word slowly and they all nodded their heads frantically.

I turned to look at Juan who started walking towards me and I immediately hugged him saying "I didn't know friend."

He pushed me away completely and started leaving the Prison saying "We don't have time."

"What do you mean?" I asked following him.

"Mel.. Queen is in danger and we need to reach her Kingdom soon." He replied leaving the Prison.

"Why? Why would she be in danger in her own Kingdom?" I asked him understanding who he is addressing here Queen as.

"Because she saved me and a Kingdom doesn't take it normal with a traitor. She must be getting tortured atleast mentally." He replied.

I didn't hear him anymore and mounted on my horse immediately. I asked few other guards to travel and we are already on way to Velimar leaving Hulind.

"Why does she have to save you?" I asked him.

"This is all because of you." he barked at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked him confused.

"You didn't tell me what was actually happening and just told me to stay with her which I did. But the King who is already in fury regarding his humiliation binded me. I was about to get hanged but my Queen saved me risking her representation in her Kingdom." He replied and the last line with pride.

"Forgive me Juan. I thought she will be safe in her Kingdom because she would have not been if she was here until today." I said looking at him guiltily.

"Atleast now tell me what actually happened." He said sighing.

Until we reached Velimar as we were riding our horses in fierce, I explained what actually happened all these days.

"That dimwit! I always told you to not trust him but you were blinded by his fondness." He said shaking his head.

"I know! Now I can see how wrong I was. With just my blindness I would have been the reason for costing many lives." I said shaking my head.

We both saw the guards standing near the gates of Velimar Kingdom looking at us with fierce and were in a position to attack us.

"We are not here to fight. We want to meet King Albert." I shouted at them.

They contemplated but finally opened the gates for us to travel inside the Velimar. All the people walked out of their houses and shops looking at us with confusion, shock and anger.

It was the same when we first entered this Kingdom but now the anger is in more terms. We finally reached the Palace and were surprisingly taken inside the library room of the palace but not to the council room.

Only Juan and I were allowed to go inside along with two guards. We sat on the chairs present infront of the table and waited for the King to enter the room.

Something really stupid happened guys. I wrote this chap in not so cliche file. When i want to paste this here i saw that in the queen file there is nothing which i had typed. I thought now i have to type everything but thank god i searched the other file...

So kendrick knows and he is already here... oh and Ronald opened his eyes and Connor is behind the bars... The whole Hulind must have already got passed with this news....

Damn so much in one and i hope it was ok. I dont know why i am not able write this story in broader way maybe because i am still new to it and this is just an experiment :)
