*Melody Pov*

"Melody! Melody, wake up." I heard someone calling while shaking me.

"What is it?" I asked getting up and looked at Amy who is standing near my bed.

Then I saw the tears flowing from her eyes and I immediately got panicked.

"What happened, Amy?" I asked her holding her hand.

"Ju.. Juan! He... is.." She started replying but stopped because of her crying.

"I am getting terrified Amy. Tell me what happened." I questioned her again.

"Juan was not able to escape from the prison." She finally said and I looked at her with wide eyes.

"What? How is that even possible? My plan was perfect." I said getting up from the bed.

"I know! But in the early morning I saw that the Prison door is closed. So I tried to go inside but got stopped by a guard and he told me they know everything." She said shaking with tears.

"He knows?" I asked her in whisper.

"Yes! He even said Council will decide about my punishment after Juan will be hanged." She replied trembling and fell on the floor.

I just sat there for few minutes and immediately got up to walk near my closet. I opened it and took a big cloth out of it.

"What are you doing Melody?" Amy asked looking at me.

"We can't sit here and cry over spilled milk Amy. We need to get some other milk and also clean that spilled milk." Saying that I covered my face except for my eyes.

"Where are you going?" She asked running behind me.

"I have another way to save him from that prison." I replied.

"Tell me the directions I will tell him. You need not take such risk." She said and I smiled at her concern even after knowing that she is going to get punished after this.

"It will take time for me to explain you and for you to explain Juan. Juan will be alive Amy and that's my promise to you." Saying that I left my Chamber and walked towards the back side of the prison hiding myself.

There are not much people around this side as it is still morning. After reaching the behind of Prison, I opened the cover from the small passage which I discovered when I was a child.

Entering it carefully I crawled towards the end and got down to see number of cells in it. Seeing everyone in their sleep I tiptoed along the cells to reach Juan's.

Juan is holding the bars with defeated expression on his face. I walked near him and placed my finger on the cloth covering on my lips.

He looked at me shocked but slightly nodded. I walked towards the wall where all the keys are hanged and took his cell key from them.

I slowly opened his cell and pulled him out of it. Then we both crept slowly towards the place from where I jumped down. I showed Juan the hole and he nodded.

Holding the rails inside the tunnel he got himself inside it and helped me. After that we both crawled back to the outer part of the tunnel.

I closed the cover and he asked "Who are you?"

"Who do you think I am Juan?" I asked him holding his hand and moved him to other side of the prison.

"Queen! What are you doing?" He asked shocked.

"I am saving my friend." I replied and slowly tip toed towards the near shop holding his hand.

Passing the each shop carefully we made nearly half distance but them someone shouted "It's the enemy."

My eyes went wide and I started running along with Juan but I am little behind. I can't let anything happen to him. I chanted to myself and pushed myself but not too much because I still remember a small life inside me.

With every step we took, the shouts increased and also the distance between Juan and me. I can't look back to see how near they are to me when I can see the gate of the Kingdom clearly.

I gestured towards the horse which is tied near the gate to Juan and he nodded running towards it.

I took the sword from the near shop and turned around to stop anyone. Then started moving backwards to go near Juan.

"Come with me Queen! I will take you near Kendrick. These people will not spare if they get to know this which I am sure they will." Juan said getting on the horse.

I immediately remembered how all the people in that Kingdom wanted my life to be taken away from him.

So I shook my head and said "I don't have the trust that I will be safe there Juan. Now I need to think about someone else too. These are my people and I will be safe here."

He reluctantly nodded and said "I will come back with Kendrick as soon as possible Queen."

He pulled the horse reins and started going away with as much force as he can. I heard the nearly same words from three people along with you Juan. I know even this time they will not become true and I don't have the hope too.

"Traitor! State you name." I heard someone saying and I turned to see few guards surrounding me.

I tried to fight their swords but couldn't hurt my own people. So I left the sword to fall on the ground and stood there.

They all looked at me in confusion but still stood there not moving an inch. Then I heard the sounds of horse footsteps and the guards slowly parted to show a way to my Father.

He got down with his sword and looked at the head guard asking "Where is that Juan?"

"We lost him Your highness." The head guard said looking down.

"This is all because of this traitor." He added and then my Father turned to look at me.

"State your name Traitor." He said looking at me.

With defeat I slowly removed the cloth that is covering my face and immediately heard huge number of gasps all around me.

"Princess! How can you do this? That too to your Kingdom." I heard my Father's booming voice.

"He is innocent Your Highness. We can't hurt the innocent and what will we get if we hurt him?" I questioned him.

"Innocent? Did you forget the insult they threw on us? That Juan is the main warrior of that kingdom. Just imagine how it will be in the war without the main warrior. Slowly we would kill all of them until they will accept their defeat infront of us." He said with furious expression.

"What will we get after that? Whatever happened had just happened. We can't change it." I said pleading him.

"Did she become our enemy after getting married to one?" I heard the question from one council.

"She must have. Otherwise why would she even help an enemy?" Another said.

I looked around to see everyone looking at me with hate and disbelief looks. How can they look at me like that? I am their Princess and their Queen.

"Is this what a Princess should be like?" One person from the crowd shouted.

"Did you forget? She is our Queen now and she can do anything she wishes right." Another said.

These seething words continued with no stop and with each word my Father became more furious that I couldn't see my Father infront of me. He is a King who is getting insulted because of his daughter.

For him his prestige among the people is more precious than everything and that even stopped him from marrying Candice. Now that prestige is getting pointed out.

"Maybe our King already knows about this and is helping her." That was the last straw and I immediately saw him walking towards me clutching his sword.

"You not only as a person of Velimar but also as a Princess to this Kingdom must always think about your Kingdom and only you're Kingdom. But you thought about the welfare of the enemy which is not acceptable." He said each word with red eyes describing the anger he is feeling and fear gripped me.

"Being a Queen to this Kingdom make your duty double the part it is already is. For a traitor the punishment is inevitable and for a representative of the Kingdom the punishment is immediate." He said and held his sword upward.

"Father! You can't do this to me. I am your Daughter and what I did is proper so that we will not get a bad mark on our Kingdom by killing an innocent." I pleaded him and tried to move back but there all already guards who are stopping me to move.

There is no change in him so I looked around to see hoping someone will save me and saw Amy being captive in one guard's hands and she is weeping.

"This is for the Kingdom, Queen." He said pushing back his sword to move it towards my stomach making me place a hand there protectively.

I am a Queen!

I am a Queen of two kingdoms whose names are enough to make anyone tremble with fear.

I am a Queen who had done nothing but what everyone asked me to do. I fulfilled everyone's wishes without giving those any second thought.

I am a Queen who got blamed for the things about which I don't even have a minimal idea. I am blamed because there is nothing else they can do other than that.

I am a Queen who wishes at present to go back being a princess as my life is going to be taken away by the person who is none other than my Father in few seconds just because I am a Queen.

I closed my eyes hoping that this ends once and for all...

*Juan Pov*

"Just move fast you dimwit horse. We need to be near my Kingdom soon." I shouted at my horse.

I will be there soon Melody. I will bring Kendrick with me and take you from there as soon as possible.

Don't worry Queen! Nothing will happen to you. I thought remembering how I heard the faint shouts.

I hope she escaped them before they reached. I want her to be safe. I want my friend to be safe for my friend.
