Here is Day 1!

NOTE: I cooked spaghetti today. (well I tried...)

Pasta at Home

I steady the towel on my hand...

the pot lid rattling

steam escaping

quickly and carefully I swipe at the handle

a warm white cloud envelopes my face...

the golden noodles form a ring at the bottom of the pot

let it simmer...

I lunge for the stainer

water rushes, then drips through...

leaving me with my golden noodles.

glass plate rattling

metal fork ready at hand...

Spaghetti.

I hope you enjoy my poetry attempt. Hopefully they get better, but I mostly doing this for fun and out of boredom.
