BASIC INFO

- Name (last/first): Takayoshi Yuu (天義 (heaven-righteousness); 愛 (love))

- Nicknames/aliases: Lady Takayoshi in formal occasions, but everyone calls her Yuu normally

- Gender & pronouns: cis-female, she/her

- Sexuality: heteroromantic asexual

- Age: 16

- Physique: petite; short/medium height (~1m60); small hands & feet

- Appearance: long hair that fades from black to yellow/golden-blond (gotta have the ombre in KNY 👌), with short fringes parted to hug either side of her face; bright gold eyes

- Clothing: traditional Corps uniform but with skirt instead of pants; black knee-high boots; belt; wears a scarf with 2 loose ends trailing behind her back, white with small glittery purple dragonflies all over it.

BACKSTORY

- Comes from a rich noble family that traditionally works for the Corps, so of course growing up her dream was to become one. Her parents are both Demon Slayers, but her mom retired after having her third child. Yuu has an older sister (Kazusa (和佐), 20) who is also a DS, and a baby brother (7).

- When she was young & hasn't started her training yet, she would help her parents & servants in the house take care of injured/visiting DSs coming to their estate. (The Takayoshis are rich & also works in the business, so their house is basically a free stop for any DS in need.)

PERSONALITY

- Generally chirpy & positive; an easy person to make friends with

- Deep down, she is mature & sympathetic (having a lot of siblings do that to you; plus having to take care of sick ppl/guests from a young age)

- Quick-witted & very adaptable, not afraid of changes or new/unfamiliar environments

- Can be scary when she gets angry

- Quite determined & likes to win, so she doesn't give up easily in the face of adversity

IN THE CORPS

- Weapon of choice: 2 violet blades that she wears on her back (Deadpool style if you will)

- Breathing style: Breath of the Dragonfly (derived from Breath of Insect -> Flower -> Water)

- Fighting style: quick, light, shimmery, seemingly disappearing into thin air

- Forms:

(1) Stinging Bite: hard x slice, with enough force to cut through hard things like bone

(2) Flight: fast slices either upwards or downwards

(3) Resting on the Water Surface: wide x slice, usually to deflect attacks

(4) Omniscient Blade: a flurry of jabs from all sides (inspired by dragonflies' compound eyes)

(5) Wingshadow: spins blades really fast, collecting energy into them & creating a bright iridescent glow which can blind the enemy, and then that energy can be unleashed onto them

(6) Predator: she "vanishes" into thin air with very fast movements and footwork, and then reappears in her enemy's blind spot, striking them

(7) Metamorphosis: acrobatic move where she jumps up into the air, then unfurls and descends down into the enemy, striking from the sky
