Whew, finally! My new babey ehehe (actually not new, this is just his jojoverse (& NBoC AU) version), pls care 🥺🤲 altho he's kind of an ass....

1. BASIC INFO

(it's natural TwT). Is handsome by society's standards.

- Scars/freckles/birthmarks: right eyebrow has a slit toward the end, from a training accident when he was young (that patch of eyebrow never grew back rip). His hands also have multiple thin, line-like scars, similar to slice wounds. All of these are from training with his string-like Stand. Has the Joestar birthmark.

- Piercings/tattoos: Has standard & upper earlobe piercings from one time being black-out drunk & agreeing to get his ears pierced, wears miscellaneous earrings & studs in them depending on his mood. Probably no tats.

- Wardrobe (clothing & jewelry): practical, athletic style. Main colors: red, black, teal/aquamarine green. Things you'd find in his closet: jeans, cargo pants, sweatpants; combat boots & sneakers; and DEFINITELY fingerless gloves (this is a must-have), which are leather, black lined with bright red. He doesn't really care for shirts, anything that fits on his torso will do, but usually: simple graphic tees or tank tops, with a random jacket on top if it's cold. Often tucks or at least French-tucks his shirts. His style is overall quite simple, but somehow still very attractive.

2. BACKSTORY

- Backstory/past: son of Joseph & a random Chinese woman, the result of a one-night stand. His mother went back to her home country right after that encounter and gave birth to him then, so Alfie is born & raised in China. He grew up without a clear father figure, & the only times he'd hear about Joseph was from when his mother &/or her relatives were cursing him out etc. etc.; so obviously he has a lot of bad blood w his father's side of the family. The fact that he is an illegitimate child of a foreign man also does not sit well w his mom's side of the family, & the culture he grew up in, so ever since he was young he was the default least-favorite child, and was never really loved &/or doted on by his relatives, or even his own mother.

Basically, Alfie has a loveless home life growing up, so he relied a lot on social connections, which became increasingly sexual in nature the older he got. This bitch does not respect women or even men, rather he just uses his good looks & talents to get above everyone, & enjoys their attention that way. But secretly he has bouts of extreme loneliness & self-doubt, & resents his parents/the adults in his life mostly for making him the kind of person he is today.

3. PERSONALITY

- Main traits: mysterious & aloof, can act friendly but only if he is interested in you; flirty; badboy/fuckboy vibes; annoying (?); has a special talent for understanding ppl, but doesn't use it for good often; funny

- Will give off cool, mysterious, fuckboy vibes when you first meet him. But as soon as he opens his mouth, you'll realize he's kind of annoying, in that he will tease you nonstop & know just what to say to push all your buttons.

- Likes to tease ppl & watch them get flustered/mad, also can flirt like a god and will hit on anyone he thinks he can annoy

- Has a good & pretty dirty sense of humor, likes telling & hearing dumb jokes

- Will be friendly only around ppl he thinks he can trust, or is comfortable with. Actually very affection-starved, so he would 100% be up for cuddles, casual/platonic flirting & those kinds of things

- To his friends & loved ones (not necessarily family here), he can become a very sweet and sympathetic person, willing to lend an ear to all your troubles. When he falls in (platonic or romantic) love, it is extremely genuine & sweet. But other than that, fuck you (figuratively & literally)

- Bicc brain when he gets serious, & knows when he has to get into it, but the rest of the time he puts all his braincells on snooze & just,, becomes very dumb & goofy when he sees no apparent danger to get serious about

4. ABILITY

- Hamon/Stand: Stand

- Stand name: Nine of Cups

- Reference/inspiration: minor Arcana

- Age developed: either birth, or just out of the blue when he was young — either way, from a young age

- Appearance: a length of red string (inspiration: the red string of fate in Chinese mythology). It looks like a simple red thread, thick enough to be fairly visible to the naked eye, but it is surprisingly strong & sharp. It also seems to be infinitely long. It comes out of his palms, fingertips or wrists sometimes, & he wears his fingerless gloves to protect his hands while he uses it, since NoC can also hurt him if handled without care.

- Ability: the string can be used in a number of different ways, but he mostly uses it like a garrote. If enough force is applied, it becomes sharp enough to cut. Can slice through flesh or dirt fairly easily, while brittle things like wood, bones or bricks/loose concrete is harder. Metal & glass are probably the hardest, & may require a sawing motion to cut through (time-consuming). It is quite hard to cut this string, and will probably require some Stand work or the like. Also, the string can pass through anything undetected if he wills it to.

He can also swing around using it like Joseph does with Hermit Purple, but it is generally less effective since his string is smaller & sharper.

- Special move &/or abilities: he has 2, but the first one is more like a tactic.

Moonmist: basically, a trap. he arranges the thread in a random fashion loosely all around the terrain, as if it has just been dropped; but once the enemy steps far enough into it, the trap activates. The thread springs to life and tightens around their body, and the more they struggle, the tighter it will bind. Useful for when he wants to render the enemy immobile, or capture sth/sb. If he applies enough force, it can even slice apart multiple things inside the trap (think deadly cat's cradle kinda thing). Will work on multiple ppl, but whether he has enough strength to keep them contained inside the trap is a different story. Therefore, he usually has to set it up in a way that uses the terrain to his advantage, &/or uses a pivotal point (kinda) to be able to amplify the force he's applying onto the string. It would follow that this move works best in cramped & cluttered spaces. When he lays this trap tho, the space will suddenly look hazy/foggy, hence the move's name.

Yue Lao (月老 - Lunar Matchmaker God in Chinese mythology): if he shoots the thread out from his hand into one of his target's orifices (ears, nostrils or mouth), and can release enough thread into them undetected, he can start seeing/hearing their true thoughts & intentions (kind of like how the Matchmaker God would look at ppl and be able to see their fates.) Depending on how easily manipulated his target is, he can start affecting & altering their thoughts & emotions, & in turn affect their actions. It's mostly painless & only a bit uncomfortable, since if it is too painful his target would realize & pull the thread out right away. This does not harm them physically btw.
