Papa gill was laying on his bed with his hand over his forehead and closed eyes...

When he felt a hand on his arm...

He looked and saw that it was mumma gill....

MG : kya soch rahe hai?

PG : yehi ki humari beti itni badi kab se hogyi ki uske liye rishte aane lage...
Mujhe toh abhi bhi vahi naaz yaad hai jo school se aake sabse pehle mujhe khojti thi, mere saath hi khaana khati thi , saari demands mujhse puri karwa leti thi , mera khyaal rakhti thi ...

MG : toh vo sab toh ab bhi karti hai

PG : huh! Par band hojayegi na ye aadat ..
Yaad hai tumhe pammi, bachpan main kaise bolti thi ki vo kisi se shaadi nahi karegi , humesha mere saath rahegi ...

MG : hn...aur Agar usse koi bole ki shaadi toh karni hi hoti hai ...toh bolti thi , main shaadi se bhaag jaungi ya ladke ko bhaga dungi ...

Papa gill chuckled with moist eyes...

MG : kuch socha hai aapne ?

PG : pata nhi

MG : Sidharth aacha ladka hai

PG : pata hai mujhe pammi, jab pehli baar usse Mila tha na tab hi uske aankhon main apni beti ke liye vo feelings dekhi thi jo meri aankhon main thi jab maine pehli baar Shehnaaz ko god liya tha ....ek dam Paakh!

MG : vo khyaal rakhega uska...

PG : pata hai mujhe , par kya Naaz humse door reh payegi , aaj tak nhi Rahi hai , arrey abhi ek hafte ke liye gayi thi toh chain ki saans nhi aarahi thi , ye toh zindagi bhar ki baat hai

MG : toh zindagi bhar toh nhi na hum rakh sakte usko apne paas

PG : kyu nhi rakh sakte , main rakhunga apni beti ko , apni aakhri sanson tak

MG : aap bhi kaisi baatein kar rahe hai , Aap abhi so Jaiye , kal subha aapka mind fresh hoga , tab aap sahi sochenge

Saying this she switched the light off....

Shehnaaz was on call with Sidharth but none of them were speaking a single word ....
Both were just feeling each other's presence through the phone...

Just then Rashmi entered...

She saw Shehnaaz lying on the bed...she said "Man na padega ladka toh tune aacha pataya hai.."

Shehnaaz just gave her a look and turned her face to the other side..

Rashmi : tu toh bada bolti thi , ki main kabhi shaadi nahi karungi,papa ko chod ke nahi jaungi and stuff like that par fir ab kya hua , ab tu ek ladke ke liye apne papa se gussa hoke bethi hai

SG : main gussa nahi hoon unse..

Rashmi : toh tune baat kyu nhi ki

SG : bass nhi ki

Rashmi: kitne saal se chal raha hai

SG : kya

Rashmi : yehi tere aur tere Professor ka

SG : aisa kuch nhi hai

Rashmi : oh hello tu na mummy papa ko budbak bana sakti hai , mereko nhi

SG : aap koshish chod do

Rashmi : kis chiz ki ?

SG : main jaanti hoon aap mujhse ye baatein nikalwa kar fir kal ko use mere hi khilaaf istamaal karige aur mera mazaak banoge, ab experience hogya hai

Rashmi : main aisa kuch nahi karungi ..

SG : yeah and I trust you

Rashmi made a face and went out of the room..

And shehnaaz whose eyes were till now closed opened her eyes and a drop of tear rolled down her eyes....

Then she heard "Naaz .."

Listening Sidharth's voice.  She just broke ...
She crying while hicupping, this was after a long time Shehnaaz was crying like this with all her want and need and that to for and because of the tow most important people in her life ...

Sidharth let her vent it out and after some time said "Shehnaaz, you crying will never help us in any way , jo just take a deep breath maine kaha tha na ki jab tak tumhara Sidharth hai tab tak tumhe kisi bhi chiz ki chinta karne ki zaroorat nhi hai , meri jaannn...

SG : but Sidharthhhhhhhhh papaaaa

SS : vo main dekh lunga , aur main wada karta hoon ki main aisa kuch nahi karunga jisse tumhare ya unhe hurt hoye,i can promise that fitoor, you trust me right ?

SG : yess

SS : I'll always be around you , every now and then ! ✨

Shehnaaz smiled and , they continued their talks....when Sidharth heard Shehnaaz's deep breaths , he realised she has slept , he just chuckled and cut the call...

Papa gill got up and went to the kitchen to drink water...
He then decided to check on shehnaaz

He went towards her room , opened the door and saw her curled up..

He went and covered her with blanket , he made the ac temperature more cool ,  he knew she like it chill

He saw the dried up tears on her cheeks...

He stood at the door and thought to himself "Does he love you more than me?"

Thinking this he went back toh his room ..

He sat on the bed and took his phone and called someone...

The person was on deep sleep so he said "kon hai bey ".

PG : kal 6 baje same cafe main

Recognising the voice the man hurriedly got up and said "Ji ji main pohach jaunga , aap jab bologe tab"

But till then the call was cut ...

Man : yrr ye raat main kyu bataya inhone subha bhi toh bol sakte the , yrrrrr ab puri raat neend nhi aayegi , bhakkk!
