He walked through the forest road when he spotted a large and noisy group. He feared when he saw the colours... It were his brother's men. Nearly forty. He hided, shievering as if it wasn't middle spring and the sun didn't bathed him with heat and light through the tree branches.They passed, and although he he couldn't see quite well, James Tagmont was sure they weren't all from the same side, as most of them walked on a straight line, aparently chained to each other. Prisoners. They should be her sister's supporters. they were being led to Windhall, probably to be executed in public, in order to send a warning to all those who rebel against the lawful heir to the throne, Addam III Tagmont, his stupid older brother.

Tunnel between palace and castle at Windhall, Kennvikne, Tagmont's seat.

A straight tunnel with nearly one kilometer, guarded by four men at each 100 meters who change/rotate positions every half an hour. In each place of guard there is displayed a set of weapons: crossbows, stonethrowers, spikes, spears, swords...

Prologue "Aeron Tagmont"

A monk was running through the wall into the tower while the sun was rising above the roofs. He was going to ring the bells in the morning to wake up the city with six strokes, and he was already late.

On the other side of the square, a small inn was squeezed between the church's wall and an armoury. On the small room on the top, Veronica puts the sleep away from her eyes.

The bells echoed throughout the city, from the hills into the port.

In Windhall's palace, prince Aeron Tagmont was looking through the window while his servants dress him and get him ready, and some orders were shouted and horses neigh down at the terrace.

Today, he was going to knight six men. He didn't knew any of them, and he didn't care about it. After bending the knee to him, honour compels them to stay loyal to the throne of Kennvikne, and himself.

He moved to the balcony, grabbing the paper where the soon-to-be-knights' names were written and the speech Aeron should memorize to recite, while the priest anointed their foreheads with the "seven oils"

A servant brought him his cup of coffee, black coffee from the plantations of Kilomba, and he let the paper on the top of a chair to hold the cup. He was getting ready to scream at the servant because the coffee was already getting cold when a black hooded figure appeared in front of him and threw him against the wall, following him with a blade in hand. The cup fell on the ground and broke, shattering in an hundred pieces, spilling the black coffee, after slipping from weaken fingers, when they rose to stop the royal blood to flow out his opened throat. Aeron opened his mouth to scream, but only blood went out. He was alone. The assassin had disappeared, leaving Aeron Tagmont on the ground, drowning on his own blood, while it expanded across the marble floor.

During all day the bells rang. The ones from the cathedral and all the other ones is answer. It were different than usual. It was a funeral sound that announced the death of the royal heir to the kennviknian throne.

In Windhall's palace an heavy silence reigned now, since it was opened a new heritage issue to the throne. Many knights, lords and ravens with messages arrived and departed from the city that day.

Prince Addam Tagmont, the direct heir to the throne, was away, leading an expedition near the Vaille mountains, and most of the kennviknian lords were getting nervous.

Near Helliwer

A village near Helliwer suffers an earthquake followed by a fire. Maenar Lashen men invade the village and after reuniting them on the square, kill all survivors. Veronica and her injured little brother flee the town, heading the cartel controlled city of Helliwer. A few days after, her brother dies, as she is unable to heal him. Veronica survives by stealing there. She meet a homeless boy there after fighting the "leading little stealers, a stupid girl" who kicks her out.

She heads then Gaerteare. In Klassen, the gate to the Valley, she is almost raped by the pedophil, Lord Alen Hendersen, but she is able to escape and goes to Gaerteare.

Gored and Ulster- big battle near windbay, for the control of Leranne's river end and the fishing villages. King Goered is killed and Ulster annexes the south part of windbay.

King Oswell of Orwellia sells her granddaughter to king Feagar Kenner but he dies, so she is supposed to marry Rolard Kenner. In the wedding day he refuses the throne, nominating Queen Annle Kenner 15 yr as his successor.

She controlled the kingdom with wisdom and iron hands, knowing she was in disadvantage. At 19 yr, she leads Kenner armies to Orwellia and smashes her grandfather's kingdom, unifying Windbay under one sigil:............

She died at 28yr Her son, Walfys Kenner finished Lendore, conquering Dargaud at a large cost of men.

King Abster Kenner wasted the left of the army against Egneren's mad king: Alfred the greedy.

Reaching an unification sooner than Kennvikne, Gandmaraens cross the Vaille Mountains and invade Kennvikne. leaving bloody trails at the flower camps and Orwellia. Without the means to repel the invason, the Kenner Dynasty is set aside and King Addam Tagmont rises in power.
