Today, we will learn from a Christian's story who converted to Islam.

Long ago, during the preislamic times, a man called John had a wife called Mary. They lived a decent life, though, John was poor. He prayed all day and night. One night, he had a dream that if he makes three sincere wishes, they will be granted.

John told Mary, his wife about about his revelation. Immediately,  she requested for a wish to be the most beautiful lady in the city. John prayed that his wife become the most beautiful lady. In days, he asking glowed drastically and her skin attracted men's eyes. One evening while taking a stroll with her husband, the kind met them and asked John who mary was to him.
She's my sister. He replied.

Wow, I would want her to be my wife this instant.

No. He said sincerely. She's my wife.

Than I command her to be my wife. The kind said.

With no other choice, Mary was married to the king. She became the queen of the city and many admired her beauty. The other wives of the king became jealous. This made John lonely and sad. He prayed Mary becomes a monkey.

In weeks, he glowing skin became hairy, like a rug. She even grew facial hairs and thick skin that her beauty faded. In shame, the king threw her out of the palace. Mary had no choice but to return to her former husband, John. She begged that he accept her. After some days, mary Begged him that he prays she becomes as she was before. John made his third wish that she becomes her true self, and she did. They were back to their former state.

The couples lived together and after some years, they heard about the prophet and eventually converted to Muslims. When John, now Yahyah heard of the hadith of the Prophet (ﷺ) which said, "A woman is married for four things, i.e., her wealth, her family status, her beauty and her religion. So you should marry the religious woman (otherwise) you will be a losers."
 الْمَرْأَةُ لأَرْبَعٍ لِمَالِهَا وَلِحَسَبِهَا وَجَمَالِهَا وَلِدِينِهَا، فَاظْفَرْ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ ‏"‏‏.‏
He told his story to the Muslim congregation. The best of partner is a faithful woman.

Know who you seek advices from.  Some children gives better advices than kings and aged people.
