Like eggshells, like mirror
❝ Like eggshells we must break
Like mirrors we'll reflect ❞
by __Carrots__
. . . .
Life is like a boat without an anchor,
where you just flow like the river
with every passing phase, without not-so-much grace
It's just flowing or it seems so
They say, eggshells are really hard
protecting the inner part, by being in the outer
what they don't wanna know, it must
break too, in order to be innermost
our life is just like that, no matter
how hard the shell seems, but it
must break once, without breaking
it's just nut-shell, with no taste-no protein
we must break to gather the pieces,
we must know how to be breaking
more than once, we must know what's pain
when it's just illusion of nothing lasts.
Pain lasts, the aching lasts even when
the grief passed, I know how is it like to be
now I don't wish to be in forever at last.
because my actions reflect in my veins.
the actions ruminates the reflex tones,
heather shy away its blossom,
just like the mirrors, it lies
when I see what's coming through its eyes.
still I know, I must reflect my own vows
I must bear its taste, when it's bitter
since it's my own seeds, I shall reap
I shall reflect its own reactions, when it's all about actions.
. . . . . .
Which one is better? The form with [i] free verse or [ii] acrostic?
