Fly in the sky
I'm flying in the sky
spreading my wings, with my peak
but still don't know— where
I'm going, but who cares?
Humans are fools, they think
they've everything, mayhap
still they desired the unwanted,
unheard things, led em in an aeroplane
what they don't have? perhaps
a little peace, a calming nerve
and a fresh breath in nostril
I don't care— maybe because I'm free.
free to go anywhere, free to make
foods, I make my own shelter
sometimes in the branches,
sometimes in the pipe-hole.
but I'm still happy, maybe because
I ain't caged with shackles,
few folks are straining— but they
hold the chance of flight, once in a while.
foolish Homo sapiens couldn't—
afford that, binding with services
luxury, lavish bring comfort but
inner peace is always in nature.
I'd lost my few friends in that era, where
they choose chaos— the firecrackers
for mere pleasure, but they forgot
the frequency level— gets intolerant for small creatures.
many lost their lives, many lost their hearing
they think — we're their inheritance
but they forgot the rule of nature.
my place is in the vast sky—
And I'm born to fly.
