I just realized that both my favorite and least favorite characters are gay, that's kind of a weird coincidence (Though Mary is bisexual, so not exactly). I am straight, if that differs me in any way from either of them.

Maybe what makes me different is that I try really hard to not stereotype the people around me, where Trevor would do it without a second thought. I was raised in a pretty diverse environment at school, whereas Trevor went to a private school. My school would probably be a mix of Oakland's diversity and metal detectors and Kingdom Hills's focus on academics. Trevor didn't grow up around people who weren't like him and therefore can't help but to stereotype them into something they're not.
