Q.) I've noticed that Lucy's relationship with each Beatle is similar to other book characters you've done. (Such as Molly in 'I'm a Loser). Is this because personally that's how you relate and see the Beatles as characters?

A.) This is a good question I never really thought about. I guess this is true since I subconsciously tend to write them this way. My way of writing each Beatle always tends to be the same but I try to throw in new elements. Paul is the guy who my OC usually has a love/hate relationship with. John is the forward, overly flirtatious type. Ringo is the sweet friend everyone can trust and George is the softhearted, sometimes misunderstood character who manages to be some sort of Love interest.

A lot of the reasons I write them the same in most fics is because I'm comfortable this way. Sometimes I tend to give a certain Beatle more writing time than others. But that's okay since this gives me an opprotunity to further my writing techniques and knowledge of what it might have been like to know one of em personally.

John to my understanding is the straightfoward, crude jokester who wasn't afraid to speak his mind no matter how naughty he was. Paul is quite the flirty but quite angsty guy who knows his limits. Basically he knows between buisness and pleasure and in his mind, he's thinking of of his future and benefits of his success than goofing around the way John does. George is caught between, having a strong sense of humour but also the timid mysterious type. It's hard to understand what he's thinking since his best interest is to know more about others than to give info on himself. (I feel like on many levels this is where I personally contribute most of my own characteristics into a character). And Ringo, he's the very enjoyable friend you often flirt, hug, kiss, joke around with. He's a safe bet when it comes to a good time. Drinking, he'll be the one to take care of you than take advantage.

So I guess in my mind I have all of them set up and although this can be annoying to some, it's very comfortable for me. I will often try not to duplicate a characters characteristics because I feel like they can get boring to the readers.
(Which I hope I'll never do!! Lol)
