Thanks for asking! All of my story ideas come from dreams. I cannot finish a story if I didn't get the idea from a dream. Which is a downside on my part. . .

Anyways.

(Old) Character names are always weird and not what you would expect to find. I come up with stuff myself. You might say Kailynne and Roseline from The Fight for Jubilation are pretty common, but they aren't necessarily spelled the way they normally would. If I don't come up with a name myself, I'll look up popular names from the time period, hence the names Aylwin, Audric, and Fendrel. I guess I wasn't too creative with their names XD

(New) I come up with names from symbolism. This is found especially in Child of Lucis and many books to come. I will first find lists of names with meanings that are relevant to the character, and then choose a name from the list that matches the character. So look some up! Come learn a bit more about your favorite characters ;)

I cannot reveal too much about it, but I'll tell you this: she will lose herself forever. It is a chemical(sort of) concoction that reacts with the machine to help the machine work and not affect anyone else. When I get back to writing it (won't be any time soon. . .) you will understand more.

This one is easy. Though it is technically not one book. . . The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. All 4 of the books are awesome. Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance. Those are my all-time favorites. I would DEFINITELY recommend them.
