Teeny-weeny affection
"Haan bilkul........mere bina to tu dekhegi hi movie. Jab maine tere se pucha mere saath dekhne chal to tune mana kar diya aur akele dekh aayi........tu dost nhi hai yrr!!!!!" python grumbled scratching the duvet with his index finger. He lay on his tummy upon the huge king size bed.
"Stop grumbling like an unsatisfied wife. I asked you to come over my place, the movie's tax free in Bihar.....but you declined. Now don't blame me....." rudrakshi's voice boomed inside the spacious room. Python frowned indignantly.
"C'mon stop being a miser for God's sake, just because it was tax free in your place that doesn't mean you couldn't watch it here in Delhi.......you are being absolutely stingy." python yelled at the ceiling.
"Shut up I wasn't being a miser. I had a couple of buisness to look after here in Bihar and therefore I couldn't stay in Delhi. And yes, I am pretty busy right now so shut your trap and I am pretty sure you are lying prostrate on your bed so better get up, run to the bathroom and wash yourself up. We'll talk later today.....Bye and take care of madhu...." her voice rang inside the room and python whined.
"Bye....." he mumbled and the call was disconnected.
"Anything else which I can do for you Mr. Python!!!!" Karn's robotic voice appeared and python huffed.
"Nothing buddy except for checking over the software update of our new phone.....I think there's some glitches reported by the analysist team.....um, I want you to take care of that......" Python affirmed hugging the duvet close to his naked chest.
"Sure Mr. Python and my senses tell me that Mrs. Python is close by and might I suggest you to put on some clothes." by the time karn had stopped, the door swung open and in came madhushree with a tea tray in hand and a beautiful smile playing on her lips. Python flipped over so he was lying on his back and facing her. He was gaping at her in shock.
"Uh oh...... she's already in......Best of luck Mr. Python...." and with that the notorious AI robot evaded the scene. Python chuckled nervously as madhushree approached him.
"Good morning Adi......" she said with a smile and for a moment python looked at her in incredulity. Did she really said that!!!!! She laid the tea tray on the console table and sat down beside him on the bed.
"I was thinking about how should I say your name. I can't take your full name after all you are my husband so I came upon a conclusion.......Adi, that's how I would address you. Would you like two spoons of sugar????" she said and glanced at him to find him staring at her with tears brimming in his deep piercing eyes. She gasped.
"Didn't like the name....... I'm sorry I was just........"
"No please......no..... just don't say sorry. It's...... it's just that no one has ever gave me nick names or even called me with my name........" he whispered and their eyes locked. She placed her hand on his cheek and looked into his teary eyes.
"Let's not talk about them.........they are just not worthy enough to be in your head........" she whispered softly. Python pressed his forehead against hers and sighed. She peeked at him through her eyelashes and admired those sharp features of his face. He indeed was very handsome and that dusky complexion just added up to his handsomeness.
"Tea is getting cold....." she whispered softly, he sniffed and nodded. She turned and started preparing his tea. He gazed at her admiringly as she pour some hot water into the fancy looking cup. She then added milk to the hot water and mixed them together with a spoon.
"No sugar please.......I am currently trying to burn some calories......." he said politely and she looked at him and smiled. However, suddenly something struck her and she narrowed her lids at him. He was bewildered and inwardly played a flashback just to make sure he hadn't said anything which he shouldn't.
"You hadn't bathed yet........" she asked sharply and he found himself at the loss of words. He chuckled nervously, scratching his nape.
"Um.......not yet but I was going to......in an hour......." he faltered and with the look in her eyes it was clear that she wasn't impressed with that.
"Into the bathroom.......NOW....." she accentuate on now and python was kinda intimidated with that stern look of her. He nodded acquiescently and climbed down the bed.
"Baby, why don't I just finish the tea and then move to the bathroom.......I mean we don't want the tea getting cold......!!!" python proposed hopefully with his puppy dog eyes. She folded her arms and raised her brow.
"I'll make another one, don't worry about that. Just go and take a bath.........Quick....." she said firmly and he whined. He shrugged his shoulders and trudged towards the bathroom. Madhushree sighed as he shut the door behind him.
"He'll make tons of excuses to spare himself from bathing........I don't know how he can lay on the bed for whole day doing nothing but sleeping or playing games." she murmured as she made the bed.
Raghu knocked on the door. He rubbed his hands together nervously as he stood on the face of the door.
"Is that you Raghu???" madhushree asked from inside. Raghu cleared his throat.
"Yes...... it's me, Mrs. Python....." He replied courteously. Few seconds later, the door swung open. Raghu smiled and bowed.
"Please come in....." she ushered him in and raghu entered compliantly.
"I am sorry to call you so urgently without prior notice but I felt it was important.......I hope you aren't upset with my audacity...." she asked warily and raghu chuckled.
"You are embarassing me Mrs. Python...... it's my job and you know woman of the house holds more authority than the man of the house and therefore my loyalty towards you is 0.5 % more than it's for python. So please tell me how can I be of help......" he said and madhushree smiled. She gestured him to have a seat.
"Raghu, I know you have been with python for years now. I don't know if he even told you about his past life and if he did then you know what he has gone through all these years. Raghu, I want to meet his family and I want to know why the hell did they ousted his grandparents......." she said and raghu was surprised. He wasn't expecting that for sure.
"It's been years Mrs. Python, and I don't think if I can find any of them.......I mean they can be anywhere around the world....." said raghu. Madhushree proffered him a cup of tea which he took happily. She clasped her hands together and placed them on her lap.
"You didn't let me complete raghu. Anyways, I have been researching about the Suryavanshis since last night and perhaps I now know enough about them. Not many families are natural descendants of the clan except for few about which I am gonna tell you later. But the thing which caught my attention was this newspaper headline........ it's a clipping from TOI and just read it for me Raghu......" she extended a printed paper towards him which he impetuously accepted.
"SC refuses to assent the petition of Suryavanshis, claims it isn't viable for court proceedings." raghu read out loudly and after that looked at her in perplexity.
"Read the article as well......" she requested. He dug his eyes into the paper and began.
"SC has, for the third time, rebuffed the plea of Suryavanshis to be provided with access to auction away the ruined temple of the Sun God which they assert to be under their possession. The long stretched case has been spanning over since three generations in which the first petition was filed in SC on 19 April, 1960. The Sun temple was built in 5th century BC by the first Suryavanshi King who was believed to be the mortal son of the Sun God. It was destroyed by Mughal invaders during 15th century although the remains still exists to this day. The three families of Suryavanshis have been battling for years in the court to be given authority to sell away the temple but the SC continues turning it down citing that the petition is Not Signed by every Suryvanshi and that until and unless every single living descendant of bloodline doesn't shows formal assent, the temple can't be auctioned off." Raghu finished reading and lifted his head up to find her listening to him attentively. He folded the paper and placed it aside.
"So Suryavanshis are trying to sell away the remains of an ancient temple but is facing obstruction from the court. I still don't understand what are you trying to prove Mrs. Python...." raghu said. Madhushree sighed.
"It's very simple raghu. Even though the Suryavanshis have tried every possible way to hide that there's one more pure blood Suryvanshi family living in India but they sadly couldn't fool the court. The court has access to every single information connected to the petitioner. The SC knows that there's one more Suryvanshi out there who knows nothing about this whole drama and therefore it has kept them back all these years. Raghu, I am damn sure....... python's grandparents weren't ousted for some 'political reasons' but they ran away for a reason more ghastly. Perhaps their lives were in peril. For three generations these greedy families have tried every possible way to get the possession of the temple but couldn't which proves that for money they will do anything. And perhaps we know whose approval is the court waiting for......." she said looking into his confused eyes.
"Python......" he said shocked and she nodded. He sank into his chair and tried to take in everything.
"Oh God that makes sense now....... python is the fourth pure blood Suryvanshi and the court is waiting for his approval......... and that means, python has his share in the temple or perhaps in the entire Suryavanshi estate....." raghu said shocked. Madhushree nodded.
"Yes Raghu, python holds the lawful right to the estate of Suryavanshis. His share of property is although unrecognised by those three families but rightfully acknowledged by the court. I want python to take what's his. Even if you are a billionaire that doesn't mean you should give away your right. The ancestral bequest isn't always about money. The temple which these filthy people are fighting over, it isn't just a temple but a.....a reminiscence of the mighty ancestors of the bloodline. Raghu, you need to call over the head of these three families and make sure you don't let them catch a whiff that python is the fourth Suryvanshi. Just make it a simple buisness deal, you can form excuses right!!!! And please don't tell python anything. I will tell him everything when the right time comes......." she said. He smiled at her and nodded.
"I swear Mrs. Python, not even me or thakur sahab has ever thought of doing what you are doing for him. Now I understood why was he so crazy after you......" he said and she blushed.
Python trudged into his room, knackered and absolutely ravenous. It isn't easy to be a billionaire after all, especially when you have multiple companies running successfully under you. His tie was hanging in straps from round his neck, he had undid it late afternoon. He threw his briefcase on the couch not caring the slightest about his laptop, well technically you don't have to when your company is the most successful producer of the advanced PCs.
"I hate my job.........wait, am I not the boss!!!! Huh, Whatever......I hate this boss job......." he muttered under his breath as he trekked towards the bed.
"Arey aa gye aap........kaisa raha aapka din......" madhushree's voice came from the left and python's tiredness flew away like an Albatross over the Artic. For a moment he felt he was dreaming but then he remembered that they are married now. He grinned as he saw her beautiful face.
"How was your day???? You look really tired.......what happened????" she asked and he couldn't help drooling over her. Was it him or his every single dream had came true???? She smiled and helped him remove his blazer as he was already sweating like Niagara falls.
"Adi........ I am asking something!!!! How was your day????" she asked and he chuckled nervously.
"It was great...... everything was awesome...... and...."
"Truth!!!!!"
"I hate this job......" he blurted out and she broke into laughter. His face dropped as he fell on the bed.
"And why is that???" she asked as she sat close to him. He stuffed his head into the fluffy pillow and peeked at her.
"I work with idiots........they are useless. I can't stand them.......I sometimes feel as if I am an employee and they are my boss. It's so annoying sometimes." his voice came out muffled and she laughed more.
"You just need to be a little more patient with them........" she suggested and he furrowed his brows.
"Patient........with these morons. Oh c'mon gimme a break....... even if I wait for a 1000 years they still wouldn't learn anything.......fools!!! Lord, this headache....." he groaned slapping his hand on his head. She removed his hand softly.
"Keep your head on my lap, I'll massage your head and you will fill better....." she said and for a moment he just looked at her without blinking. For years he had cope up with this headache, taking pills, drinking strong coffees but never anyone tried that thing on him. He had tears building up in his eyes but he didn't wanted to show her, so he lay on her lap and closed her eyes. Her soft hands started massaging her head and it did made him feel better.
"Madhu........you won't ever leave me!!! Right????" he whispered trying to sleep. She smiled.
"I am never leaving you......now just try to sleep....." and with that he was slowly succumbing to a deep sleep.
Python slept after 10 minutes. He even had started to snore. She stroked his hairs and tried to get up but his hand's hold around her hand was so strong that she couldn't leave. She sighed and decided to stay there. She looked down at him and admired his beautiful features. He indeed was the most handsome man alive and obviously hers. She kissed his forehead and a childish smile spread on his lips as he slept soundly on her lap.
