Nothing but truth
"So you mean to say, that I invited you into my house while I hold no knowledge about it????" Python asked bewildered, eyeing the three gaunt spectacles in front of him dubiously. A man in mid 50s with a bulbous pink visage cleared his throat and squirmed on the couch.
"Mr. Python, we are the descendants of a very respectable family. We.....we are business tycoons, if you don't know.......why would we barge into your house uninvited" he faltered. The tech giant still wasn't impressed though.
"Listen folks, I think it's......."
"I called them......" a smooth feminine voice boomed inside the foyer alarming the guests. They looked behind the tech giant and found a beautiful girl clad in an expensive saree, climbing down the stairs. Python fell agape.
"Baby you invited them........ but why and.......who are they????" python was shocked. Madhushree wended towards his shocked figure and stood in front of him.
"I'm sorry for not telling you about this earlier........" she paused as their eyes locked. He had millions of questions swimming inside his deep piercing eyes and they searched for answers inside her soft compassionate ones. She gently held his big hand in her little one.
"Come, I wanna tell you something really important....." she whispered placing her hand on his cheek.
"Um, Good morning Mrs. Python.......I was actually telling Mr. Python that someone has for sure sent an invitation from here. I mean we are from an elite society.......we don't intrude any house....." and with that madhushree turned to face them. There were three of them, two over 50 men and one 45+ woman, all three had a counterfeit smile playing on their lips which kinda irked her.
"Elite society, hm.......or should I say from the society of robbers!!!!!" the three fell agape. Python was left startled by madhushree's boldness, she's never like that after all.
"I would appreciate if you watch your tongue Mrs. Python......." the woman hissed through his gritted teeth. Python stood in front of madhushree and glared down at the plump woman just to show her who's the boss here. Madhushree stepped ahead so she was directly facing her.
"I don't give a damn about your appreciations........all three of you have 10 minutes. Spill the beans on what do you know about Murlidhar Suryavanshi!!!!!" she asked folding her arms. Their faces turned pallid in fear. How does she knows about him????? Even python was shocked that why was she asking about his grandfather.
"We....... don't know what you're talking about......" the men in the blue suit stuttered. Madhushree smirked.
"Fine, then it will go the hard way........Raghu......." she cried. Out came raghu from the room in the left, not alone but with four sturdy bouncers each wielding a gun. The guests gaped at them in shock.
"I'll give you two minutes......"
"WE'LL TELL YOU EVERYTHING........ JUST DON'T KILL US......" cried the pink man fearfully. Madhushree smirked. Python was watching everything in perplexity for him nothing was making sense.
"Start......" ordered madhushree. The guests took a deep breath and dabbed a napkin all over their face. Following that, they looked at the couple and gulped.
"We don't know much........all we know is that Murlidhar betrayed the clan and therefore was forced out of the clan. That's all we know......" the woman said meekly.
"Absolute lie......" a masculine voice reverberated inside the foyer and the faces turned towards the door. Incame mohan along with a 70 something man, marching towards the gaping heads.
"Mohan......" python whispered confused. Mohan hugged madhushree.
"You all are lying because that's not true.........you know why???? It's because I have someone around here who knows the exact truth unlike you who aren't even purebloods......" mohan spat resentfully and the three shuddered. Python looked at the cryptic man who seemed to be digging holes into his soul. Madhushree scooted closer to python and the latter draped his arm round her waist.
"Uncle....... please!!!!! I think it's the time for python to learn the truth....." she requested politely. The man smiled and turned towards the pale guests.
"You are Suryavanshis right??? Than perhaps you would know one thing quite well. Who destroyed the temple of the Sun God???" asked the man with his arms folded. The three people gave him a look of amusement.
"The Mughals....... that's a pretty stupid question!!!!" the woman snickered. The man looked at her in disdain.
"Wrong answer...... which means you aren't a true Suryavanshi......" said the man loathfully. The three looked shocked.
"That's what's documented in history........ now don't say history is wrong...." the blue suit man scorned. The old man chuckled.
"Not all history is written in books. It's a weird world in which we live. Here only that history is authorised which favours one's propaganda, the rest is simply eradicated. The history you are talking about is not even an ounce of what truth is. Now hear you, liars.......you also did the same mistake which those Mughals did, underestimating Hindus......" the man paused to watch the shocked faces of the three, even python was confused.
"Mughals destroyed the mere reflection of the Sun temple....... because the original temple of the mighty Sun God lies beneath the ruins of the temple over which you are fighting like cats and dogs. It still survives to this day, unscathed and immaculate. Do you think, the mighty children of the Sun wouldn't had known that from the other worlds some avaricious butchers will come seeking fool's treasure. They knew everything......they were prescient. Majority of the temples were built underground, far away from the reach of the God haters. And if you don't know about this closely guarded secret, than you are not a true Suryavanshi. Because you are fake Suryavanshis.......you took the surname just so you could get the possession of the temple...... now will you tell the rest or should I start unlayering every of your lie......" the man ordered and the three shuddered. Python was arrested by the man's firmness and wisdom.
The three squirmed on the couch and twiddled their thumbs in uneasiness.
"I'm sorry Mr. Python, I lied to you......... Murlidhar Suryavanshi was never ousted but killed by our parents along with his wife. He was the only Suryavanshi and our parents wanted to get rid of him so they could get the possession of the temple. His 20 year old son ran away from the house and thus escaped. We.......we thought that he must've died and there's no Suryavanshi alive out there. But the karma whacked us badly, our parents fell victim to leprosy, all of them and my old man believed that it was the curse of Sun God for killing his child. We are in desparate need of money........we have stole the Suryavanshi title but couldn't get even a single penny out of the Suryavanshi empire. All these luxuries which we are forced to have.........I don't know how to put it but we are in a bad debt. The only way to escape getting killed by the hands of the loan sharks, is to auction off that temple and recover some money to settle our debt. I swear, we didn't wanted this.........we are just paying for the evil deeds of our parents. We need help.......we are cursed. This curse can only be lifted off when we search for that true Suryavanshi and give him everything he deserves......." the woman said honestly and the other two nodded dismally. Python was astounded terribly.
"That's it, you can stay silent now........" said the man as he moved towards python. He planted his hand on his shoulder and started.
"Your father and me were best friends. My name is Ajit Chaubey and I am a lawyer in the Supreme court of India. Now you realise Mrs. Python who keeps on spilling water on these greedy people's plans. Anyways, I knew your father more than he knew himself. We were buddies you know....... buddies for life. I remember that night vividly.......in the afternoon I had met Rishi, you know he was so happy about his marriage. Murali uncle had fixed his marriage with your mother......such a beautiful girl she was. Rishi fell in love with her the moment he saw her photograph......here....." he thrusted his hand into the pocket of his pants and produced a couple of photographs, extending them towards him. Python took the photographs and saw a beautiful girl smiling at him. Madhushree had tears building up in her eyes, python's eyes and hers were carbon copy of each other. Python sniffed and looked at the other photograph, in this he saw two handsome man laughing near a river bank. On the left was his father but not like the one he used to see in his childhood, he looked so different and handsome in the picture. Python looked up at the man with tears.
"You kept these all these years........" python whispered as his fingers clutched the photographs tightly. The man smiled sadly.
"He was and still is my best friend. That night, he came running into my house and told me how they killed his father. His life was in peril, so I hid him in the slums and for his safety broke all contacts with him. He insisted me to not contact him as he didn't wanted your mother's life to fall in danger. They had married secretly and that brave girl gave up the peace of palaces and shifted with him into a small shabby house. He loved her very much and then you were born. Tragedies struck and they died. You were left all alone in this world.......I wanted to reach out to you python but his last promise kept me back. He asked me to give him my word that I wouldn't contact him or his son until he calls on me. I waited for years but you never tried to reach out to me my son......... thank this lovely girl that she took the trouble and somehow found me. Now I can die in peace knowing that I did my job......." the man sniffed. Python looked at madhushree with endearment through those tears.
"But why????? What do they want from my family.......Why kill us just for a temple?????" he whisper-asked. Madhushree rubbed his arm and he pressed his forehead against hers.
"The secret........ the secret which the mortal sons of God carry......" he revealed and everybody fell agape.
"But I don't know about any secret....." python said confused. The man smiled.
"That's what you think, just like you think you are the only Suryavanshi alive......." he said with a smirk.
"WHAT that means I am not the only one......." said python shocked. The man shook his head.
"You have a huge family python. You have sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, grandparents.......you even are a grandfather, I know it sounds weird but you are. But they are hidden. They are everywhere around us and most of them in big positions as you, some are big businessman, politicians, scientists and even Hollywood actors. But are Suryavanshis and they practice the rites secretly. They all know you but they publicly can't tell you everything......though they show support in some way or the other." said the man.
"But why live dual lives.......why can't they just tell the world that they are Suryavanshis. What's so wrong in that????" asked python. The old man sighed.
"Hiding is the only way to keep the secrets hidden from the eyes and ears of this evil world." he replied softly. Python looked at him in confusion.
"Secret........Secret.......what exactly is this secret!!!!!!" cried python. The old man looked at him and started.
"How did the ancient Hindus carved temples into the mountains???? How did they wrote all such advanced tomes in that time when technology was unheard of????? How did they built such humungous temples with the most basic equipments???? And most of all........Who gave them this knowledge????........do you understand now what secret I am talking about!!!!!" said the man looking into his surprised eyes. Python was silent for a moment though millions of questions ran in his head. At last he spoke up.
"I understand........I.......I understood everything.......... Suryavanshis are the secret keepers of all the knowledge of our ancestors. We protect the knowledge from falling into the hands of our enemies......... the enemies of God....." said he. Madhushree looked at him in admiration.
"Ok that makes sense now......... the invaders were initially behind the gold but when they realised that the Hindus have wisdom beyond anyone's imagination.......they started hunting for their wisdom, for...... for the ancient tomes.........Lord, that means there's a place where all such tomes are hidden and that place is known only to Suryavanshis........ means python knows that place......." Raghu said flabbergasted. Mohan for the first time showed interest.
"And that also means that he has an access to that special place........it sounds so surreal. I mean I have always thought that it's all a myth but no it's true........ python you are a guard of an ancient secret........ don't you feel excited......" mohan said childishly. Python was silent until a glow flickered upon his face. He realised something.
"I.........I know that place.........I was so stupid to not realise it before.........Dad told me about it informally a couple of times.........I know that place............" he whispered tearfully as his father's memories pierced through his heart. Madhushree hugged him to comfort him.
"I want to meet my family.......... please......." he requested feebly with tears. The old man nodded.
Feeble giggles echoed inside the room of the tech giant and his wife. Python sat on the couch, beside him sat madhushree and infront of them was a huge screen on which were seen a group of people.
"I am so glad you have contacted us.........It just feels so good to talk with our own kind......." said an old man from the screen. Python sniffed.
"It took a while but I think it's worth it.........you guys have no idea how happy I am after knowing that I have a family......" he said through his tears. Madhushree stroked his hand and he kissed her cheek.
"Dadu ban gaye hai aap uncle........." said the girl from the right who was carrying a baby in her arms. The baby smiled at the screen and tears rolled down his eyes.
"Such a lovely baby he is!!!!! Visit us someday please...........It will be so good to have a small get together......" he said with a smile. The group chuckled.
"Every year we have a get together in our secret location........ I'll text you the address, please do come with your wife. In this way you will meet others as well........" the boy from the left said with a smile. Python nodded.
At around 10 madhushree was preparing the bed when python came inside the room. He had changed his clothes and was now in his night clothes, a loose shirt and lungi (weird, I know). He stood beside madhushree and looked down at her lovingly.
"What happened???? Not feeling sleepy!!!!" she asked placing th pillows on the bed. He draped his arm round her waist and looked at her.
"I am proud of you madhu....." he said affectionately and she giggled with a touch of pride.
