0.0 Are you crying, little Tavis?

"Fuck off. I don't give a shit. You're not leaving."

Bodhi Durran let out a chuckle as the girl he loved tightened her grip, both her arms and legs wrapped around the boy. He had told Cordelia Tavis that he would find her before he left for Basgiath War College, and Bodhi did not lie. Bodhi had found Cordelia by the tree the two would sit at every day, reading to each other, but he found her writing. She had immediately jumped on him, causing him to drop his bags on the ground. "Cordy, it's just a year." His hands fell to her thighs, holding her up as her face shot into the crook of his neck.

"Yeah, unless you die."

This made Bodhi laugh out loud. "You think I'm going to die?" The girl made a little grunt in response, her shoulders moving slightly. "Xaden and Garrick survived just fine, so I'm sure I will be too." He felt her sigh against his shoulder before bringing her head back into alignment to look at him. "It's great to know that you have so much faith in me, though."

Cordelia rolled her eyes. "You don't have to leave." Bodhi cocked an eyebrow, curious on where she was going with this. "You can stay here, and I'll fuck your brains out whenever you want. It'll be like free-use, but-" Bodhi had enough. He cut off her hilarious suggestion by pressing his lips against hers.

The girl immediately pulled away, her brows furrowed. "Don't you dare distract me."

"You're right, sorry, baby." Bodhi nodded, his hands coming out from under her thighs, and she slunk against his body. She had stopped holding herself up the minute his hands landed under her thighs. Her arms unwrapped from around his neck, and Cordelia dropped to the ground. "I'm gonna miss you, little Tavis." Bodhi's hand landed on Cordelia's cheek, wanting to admire her beauty one last time. Her enticing raven colored hair, her mesmerizing hazel eyes with a ring of light brown decorating her pupil, and the thirty-two freckles that decorated her nose and cheeks (Bodhi had counted multiple times).

Cordelia leaned her cheek into his palm, soaking up any moment of touch that they had left. "A year is a long fucking time, Bod-"

"I know." The brunette haired boy nodded, bringing his other hand to cup the other cheek before pressing his lips to hers once again. This time, Cordelia reciprocated the kiss, her fingers falling to his waist. "I'm going to miss you so much, baby." Bodhi whispered against her lips.

"I'm going to miss you." Cordelia pressed her forehead against his. "So much." She felt a tear run down her cheek.

Bodhi felt a gust of wind as the girl quickly stepped back, wiping her cheek, but there was a new tear streaming down the other one. "Are you crying, little Tavis?"

The smirk on Bodhi's face was enough to make Cordelia want to punch him in the face. "Shut up." She muttered, immediately wiping the other tear away, but quickly gave up as more began replacing them.

"You know, I don't think I've ever seen you cry." Cordelia rolled her eyes once again as Bodhi's hands landed on her waist. "You must really love me, little Tavis." The two had never said they loved each other yet, but Bodhi knew she did. The fact that she opened up to him as much as she had was proof of that enough. He didn't need her to say it to him, just having her in his arms was enough. He slowly brought his thumb up to wipe away a collection of tears before kissing her forehead. "I love you too, Cordelia."

"Stop." The girl frowned, her hands landing on his chest. "Fuck you for making this so fucking hard."

Bodhi's lips curled into a smile. "It's not my fault you fell in love with me."

"Yeah, well..." Bodhi had never seen the girl stutter before, and cocked an eyebrow as he watched her form her words. "You- you wouldn't leave me the fuck alone." The boy felt her nervously gripping at the seam of his t-shirt as she spoke.

"Did you want me to leave you alone?"

"Gods, no."

"That's what I thought." Bodhi grabbed a hold of his bag from the floor, knowing he had already spent too long with Cordelia and had to leave soon.

"Fuck you."

"Not for another year, remember."

Cordelia burst into a giggle that only Bodhi and Garrick had ever been able to produce from her. "Do you have to go?" She questioned him, her eyes glancing down to the bag in his grip.

Bodhi nodded before pulling her into a hug with his empty arm. "I love you." He felt her sob against his chest and pressed his lips to the top of her head, kissing her. "I don't need you to say it back, I just-"

"I love you too, Bod." The girl cut him off, causing him to drop his arm. She fell away from his chest, reaching into her pocket. "I want you to have this." She retrieved a necklace, and Bodhi had recognized it right away. This was the necklace her mother gave her the night before she died. It had a silver chain with a ruby garnished with a silver wires. Bodhi could not believe that she was giving this to him, but he also could not believe that she had just said she loved him back. He needed to give the girl a bit more credit. "Can I put it on you?" The boy nodded, and Cordelia unhooked the necklace. Bodhi bent down as she lifted the necklace over his head, hooking it around his neck. "There." A soft smile landed on the girls face, another tear escaping at the sight of her mother's necklace around the boy she loved's neck.

"Thank you, baby." Bodhi whimpered at the sight of the necklace, his free fingers trailing along the intricate details.

"Just something for you to remember me by."

"How could I forget you, little Tavis?"
