"You look happy."
Scott was blindsided, okay. He found out, through a friend that the investment firm he used to work for wanted him back. He was excited, Mitch was too, but it died down when he realized it was his ex, Mark who earned him his job back.
He had successfully managed to dodge Mark and Mason for 2 weeks but one morning, after an amazing night with Mitch, Mark caught him at his desk. Cornered, he had no choice to speak to him.
"I-I am."
Mark smiled and cleared his throat, "I thought I knew your boyfriend. He's like famous."
"Not really. He's known, I guess."
Mark rolled his eyes. He had a plan. He couldn't pinpoint why he wanted to ruin Scott's relationship. He just knew he wanted to. "Very known. Mason's friends with his roommate, Beau."
Beau?
"Never met him, I think."
Mark grinned maliciously. This was prefect. "I think they dated at some point. You should ask him. No point in being in a relationship if you can't trust him." Mark should really be one to talk. He was well versed in the act of making Scott jealous and it worked. Scott pursed his lips together and fake a grin. Mitch has been hiding something. Refusing to let me stay over his house, begging to stay at mine even though I barely fit on the couch myself.
"Y-yeah thanks."

Todrick and Matt watched as Mitch paced back and front in the living room. Kirstie tried talking to him. She begged him but he wouldn't tell her. Mitch tried....he called at least 10 times during the day with every single one of them ignored. Then he received a text message from him.
My Mr. 🍆😍💦❤️: We need to talk.
All his friends knew was he kept mumbling 'oh shit' under his breath. Todrick finally stood in front of him. "Mitch, explain. Honey, what's wrong?"
"Scott hasn't answered my calls all day and suddenly he wants to talk."
"He's busy, sweetheart."
Mitch shook his head. He knew what it was. He lied, kept something from the man he wanted nothing more than to be with for the rest of his life. "I think he knows about Beau."
Todrick and Kirstie glanced at each other and frowned. Todrick didn't want to. He told Mitch to tell him, mentioned it a few times, "h-how do you know?"
"I knew I recognized his ex. Beau brought them over one night. They had sex in the bathroom and you kicked them out."
"You th-" Todrick frowned when he was interrupted by a knock and tears immediately began pooling in Mitch's eyes. Todrick decided to answer it. "Go clean yourself up. I'll..I'll send him up."
Mitch nodded and ran quickly to his room. Todrick glanced at Kirstie and Matt before answering the door. He gulped when he saw how mad Scott was.
"Hey. Come I-" Scott breezed past Todrick, walked through the living room, and up the stairs. He stared at Mitch's door, debating on whether to knock.
Mitch, on the other side of door, that gotten a text from Todrick telling him Scott was coming. With shaking hands he opened, gasping when he saw the anger in Scott's eyes.
"Who's Beau?"
"Come in."
"Not until you-"
"Just come in, please. This isn't a conversation I want to have in the hallway."
Scott pushes himself off of the wall and walked past the shaking blonde. He sat on the bed and turned his gaze to him.
"H-he's Matt's friend. He was just supposed to stay here for a few months."
"He's your ex?"
"No! We never dated. W-we had sex once. I....I cut ties without him after. He still likes me though."
Scott took a deep slow breath. He had to be rational. There had to be a good reason why he never told him. "W-why.."
"I didn't want him to scare you off."
"Scare me off?"
"Y-yeah. He's run off every guy who's even remotely interested in me."
"Mitch," Scott stood up, placing his arms around Mitch's waist and pulling him close. "He won't scare me off. What is this really about?"
"I don't feel safe with him here. It's like he stalks me. One minute I'm doing a set, next minute he's fighting some guy at the club because he looked at him. I woke up one morning to him in my room watching me. I'm scared of what he'll do.
"Mitch, he's not gonna run me off. You're mine. I'm not leaving. Was I upset? Yeah, I listened to Mark and I shouldn't have. He knows what pushes my buttons. I'm not leaving and I refuse to let some asshole push us apart."
"I-I'm yours....and you are mine."
Scott nodded and leaned in. A month into whatever this was and Mitch still craved kisses from the blonde. As their lips touched, he moaned. But Scott stopped
"Mitch..... In my last relationship, there was never that definitive notion that he was only mine. He cheated and hurt me so much. Mark knows how to push my buttons. I get jealous easily over something I feel I have no claim over. I couldn't really claim Mark was mine. Hell, everyone had a go but with you...what we have...in such a short period of time...it makes no sense. But I know what I feel is real and I know you feel the same way."
Mitch's breath got caught in his throat. Is it too early to say 'I love you'? He loved this man. That's how he felt. He let out a shaky breath, staring into the eyes he first noticed a month ago, "Scott?"
"Yes?"
"I'm just gonna say it, I-I love you."
Scott smiled and ran his finger across Mitch's soft pink lips, "I love you too."
