Part 8

He just left to upstairs and checked on dadi and found her sleeping so without disturbing her he moved to his room and called mukti .....

He is continuosly calling her but she is not lifting the call.....manik is worried now ......he tried Calling his gaurds which went out of coverage area....this scared him more .....he is hell worried now .......

He just sat on the bed ..... with worry clearly written on his face for his twin sister .....

Nandu completed her work in hospital and came out of the hospital ...to find maniks driver waiting for her.....she asked him to take her to malhotra mansion.... after saying him she just rested on the seat and didn't knew when she fell asleep ....

After reaching driver woke her up.... she with a clearly tired face walked inside to see it empty ....she asked Kaka and got to know about everyone .....so she thought of meeting manik and started walking towards his room....she knocked once but no response....so she just pushed the door and peeped in to see him sitting on the bed holding his head .....on seeing him like this all her sleep flew away ....

She moved to him and put her hand on his shoulder .....manik jerked on her touch and relaxed on seeing nandu ....

Nandu : kya hua ....where r u lost.... You didn't even hear the knock on the door ....

Manik immediately hugged her tight .....nandu hugged him ... rubbing his back ......to calm him down.....

Nandu : what's wrong ???? You are scaring me ....

Manik broke the hug ......but still is holding nandu hands in his . ....

Manik : mukti is not lifting my calls from morning ....now it's out of coverage area ....and also the gaurds are also not responding.....I'm worried for her .....

Nandu : ok calm down....let me do something ....

Manik : kya karogi.....

Nandu : we can't fly to Delhi now immediately ....so wait don't panic ...let me think.....

Saying she sat beside manik .....after a few minutes.....

Nandu : do you have the address of the wedding ...I mean like venue or her friends house .....

Manik : I have the card...mukti sent me by what's app .....

Nandu : send it to me....

Manik immediately took his mobile and sent nandu the card .....nandu immediately forwarded it to someone ....and called .....

Manik is just looking at her.  ......to know what she is doing....

Nandu on call.....

Nandu : I sent you a card ...just reach the venue and check whether mukti is there or not .....and immediately inform me...

..yeah he is worried 

Don't worry I will handle him...

You call me once you reach there ....

Yeah yeah I will be waiting ....

Manik heard only one sided conversation......after she cut the call ....

Manik : whom did you ask for help????

Nandu : relax manik ...it's abhi .....

Manik : what is he doing in delhi????

Nandu : he deals with thakkar industry delhi branch ... yesterday aunty uncle and he left to Delhi for an important meeting ....as you said yesterday mukti left to Delhi ....I remembered Abhi is there so I called him....don't worry he will reach the venue and meet mukti ....she will be fine manik .....

Manik : that's y I never let her go alone without me .... stubborn idiot let her come I will never let her go anywhere ....

Nandu smiles listening to him.....

Manik : y r u smiling .....

Nandu : mukti is so lucky ....to have a brother like you .....who cares and loves her so much ..... But will you be happy if she cries ????

Manik : why will she cry ???

Nandu : if you don't send her anywhere she wants to go ...she will definitely cry ....manik I know you are worried for mukti but still she is a responsible girl....may be any of her friends might have taken her mobile ya phir no charging. . .if not the place may not have proper signals ...  so relax ....be positive ... I know you are protective towards her but calm down ....even she can't stay without talking to you right ... You remember in London ....she is the one who called you daily exactly on the same time .... even though I never spoke to her that time. ...but I know she loves you more ....so wait till she calls you ....relax..... By being protective doesn't mean to restrict her freedom na ..... now go fresh up ....let's have dinner together .....

Manik : but ....

Nandu : by the time abhi reaches venue you can fresh up .....go....

Saying she pushed him in washroom ....and sat on the bed chatting with Abhi knowing about where he is ....

Manik came out after fresh up.....at the same time nandu phone rang .....she lifted the call and put it on speaker.....

Abhi : nandu....found mukti ....she is with her friend.....

Nandu : did you talk to her ....

Abhi : I didn't want to disturb her I just saw her from far ....she is happily having fun with friends.... I don't want her to think I'm stalking her ....that's y I didn't disturb her .....

Manik ; Abhi go give her the phone I want to talk to her....

Abhi : manik ....

Manik : Abhi plzz .....

Abhi knew manik is stubborn ....so he moved inside the venue to see a reception party going on....he tapped on mukti shoulder ....she turned back and was shocked on seeing abhi....

Mukti: abhi ....tum yaha .....

Abhi : manik wants to talk to you saying he gave her mobile ....mukti took it immediately....

Mukti : Bhai....

Manik : where is your phone mukti ....

Mukti : Bhai actually ....my phone fell down and broke so I didn't call you ....I thought to take the flight at ten after reception ....such that I will be back home ....so I didn't call you ....sorry .....

Manik : you scared me ....

Mukti : I'm sorry Bhai .....

Manik : do one thing ....enjoy the reception and go with Abhi to his house and fly tommorow morning ..... and yeah I will send you new mobile to Abhi house now......

Mukti : okay Bhai......

Manik : okay take care....he is about to cut the call .....but mukti called him....

Mukti : Bhai ....don't be angry na plzz ...I know it's my mistake but I didn't do it on purpose....she has tears while saying this ....abhi felt bad seeing her in tears ....he just side hugged her ....

Nandu held manik hand in support....

Manik : stop crying bacha....I'm not angry ....I'm worried for you ....that's it ....I can never stay angry on you ....so now wipe those tears enjoy the party and call me after collecting your new mobile i will send it right now ....

Mukti : love you Bhai .....

Manik : love you too ....take care ...give the phone to abhi ....

Mukti gave the phone to abhi wiping her tears ....

Abhi : ha manik bol.....

Manik : can you plzz take her home tonight ....

Abhi : idiot ..... you don't have to say plzz I will take her home safe ....

Manik : send me your home location ...

Abhi : address will be with nandu .....
take it from her.....and yeah I will call you once we reach home ....and dont worry she is my responsibility for now.....I will get her safe to you tommorow .....

Manik : thank you buddy ....

Abhi : what did you just say Malhotra ....wait for my punches for thanking me ....saying he cut the call ....

Nandu smiled looking at manik face ....

Nandu : every problem will have a solution....so stop panicking.....

Manik immediately hugged her ... You are solution to every problem.....bcoz when I am with you all my problems become small....don't leave me mini ...stay forever na....plzz

Nandu : ok baba I promise .....I'm with you forever .....

Manik breaks the hug and kisses her forehead ....to which she smiled....

Manik : come let's eat something I'm hungry ....

Nandu : come let's go home ....bcoz I have seen Kaka going to his quarters to sleep ...

Manik : yeah I only asked him to go....

Nandu : so come with me ....any ways no one is home na ....

Manan moved to nandu house ....
manik sat in the hall watching television.....nandu moved to her room and got fresh up.....manik in the meanwhile called his security head in delhi and asked him to deliver a new mobile to mukti at thakkar house in delhi ....and sent him the address which nandu gave him......

In delhi .....

Abhi : mukti stop crying.....

Mukti : I again made him worry ...

Abhi pulled mukti with him out of the venue ....and made her sit on a bench ....

Mukti : this is not the first time abhi ....even in schooling we are in 12 class ....I got locked in store room....bcoz some one tried to trap me bcoz bhai hit that boy when he tried to misbehave with me ....that's y he gets worried .....my mistake I should have called him from any phone available .....

Abhi : it's ok mukti ....relax....go enjoy the party .....I will wait here only than we will go home....

Mukti : I already enjoyed more .....just give me ten I will get my luggage .... We will leave ....

Abhi : arey but ....

Mukti : plzz abhi ...

Abhi : ok ok....take your own time I'm waiting here ....

Mukti nodes in yes and moves inside and informs her friend and gets her luggage from room and moved to abhi .....

He took her in his car to his home ....on reaching home mukti recieved the mobile sent by manik ...

Mukti immediately called manik ....

Manik who is sitting in hall waiting for nandu to have dinner ....got a call from mukti ...he recieved it and started to talk to her....abhi showed mukti the room beside him and left to his room....

Mukti manik are continuously talking to each other ....nandu sat beside him  side hugging him..... but unknowingly fell asleep......

Manik after cutting the call saw nandu sleeping being tired......he slowly made her sit and left to dinning table and filled a plate with food and moved to see her still sleeping.....

He sat beside her and tapped her shoulder .....

Manik : mini open your mouth ....

Nandu : manik I'm sleepy .....

Manik : I know you are sleepy ....just open your mouth mini......

Nandu just opens her mouth leaning on manik shoulder ....he fed her the food and even he had food...he wiped her face and moved to kitchen and placed the empty plate and again moved to hall to see nandu sleeping in an uneasy position....he slowly lifted her in his arms and carried her to her room and  placed her on bed and covered her with duvet and switched off the lights and slept on the couch like last night.....

Next morning nandu woke up .....to see manik  ....last thing she remembered was sitting in hall with manik....

Nandu in mind..... Everytime I'm tired he always used to feed me and make me sleep like this  in London....I missed this a lot after you left manik .,.I missed many things in your absence... Thank you so much idiot .....she just thought everything.......looking at a sleeping manik .....

And moved out of bed .... and reached the kitchen and made coffee and tea for manik and moved back to room to see him still sleeping .....

She kept the tray on table ....

Nandu : manik ....wake up .....it's morning....

Manik pushed his face more into the pillow.....

Nandu : manik wake up ....Varna ....

Manik : im not scared of you mini monster....

Nandu : ok fine ....I thought to take you to airport....bcoz mukti abhi already boarded the flight ....

Manik woke up with a smile ......and sat on the couch ....

Nandu : good morning. ...saying she gives him his tea...

Manik : my fav earl grey tea....indeed a good morning mini...

Nandu : have this ...go fresh up....we need to go to airport to pick up them....

Manik nodes in yes .....and both of them has their morning drink in complete silence .....
