Nandu : it's my first diwali manik ,not in this house as your wife but as a girl who loves diwali but never got a chance to celebrate bcoz dad is busy , mom is never a traditional lady ....she is busy in parties ....I was always alone to even burn crackers bcoz being a small girl I had no one to even hold my hand when I get fear of crackers so I never did that ...later when I grew up ,  I felt weird to celebrate alone....so never was this excited bcoz I had no one to celebrate but now i have a family all bcoz of u ...

Manik heard whatever she said bcoz he could see her sad face behind the excitement ...... That's y he asked her the reason ... He wanted to know what is bothering her ....

He took her in his embrace....but she hugged him tight ... Letting all her tears out..... Manik didn't say anything but held her close to him .....

After sometime he placed her on bed by lifting her in his arms ....

Manik : never ever cry remembering the past ....bcoz u have me now .... whatever you do I will always be there with you ....so no tears ....samjhi ...I hate your tears mini ...saying he kissed her ....

Than he patted her to sleep ........

Next morning .....

Manik woke up to find himself alone on bed ......

He sighed in disbelief that his wife is too busy to even wish him first on diwali .....he just sat on the bed ....

The door of closet opened revealing his beautiful wife ......making him smile brightly looking at her. .....

Manik is just lost in her .....

Nandu turned back to see manik lost in her .....she moved to him and sat on the bed beside him .....

Nandu : starring is bad manners Mr Malhotra....

Manik : kya kare I have a beautiful wife ....

Nandu blushed listening to him and kissed his cheeks .....

Nandu : happy diwali my husband .....

Manik just hugged her ......and kissed her forehead....

Manik : happy diwali my life .....

Nandu felt more than happy .... and hugged him tight ....

Nandu: come on fresh up we have Laxmi puja .....

Manik moved to fresh up .....and nandu moved down to help her mother in law with arrangements ....

After sometime the whole family gathered to do puja .....manik came running as he is late ......and sat beside an angry nandu giving her his cute smile which melts her anger easily.....

They all did puja .....after that neo gave prasad to everyone ..... everyone sat to eat breakfast .....

After breakfast all the gents sat in the hall discussing about office and other matters ....

Where as abhi came and took mukti with him for puja in his house .....he even asked Nandu to join him but she denied saying she wants to make arrangements for evening party .... Abhi didn't force her bcoz anyhow along with mukti and his parents he will be back here for party ....

Nandu is helping neo to pack gifts to send them to orphanage kids .....bcoz it's a ritual they send sweets and crackers to all the kids of orphanage ....

After packing the gifts sadhana asked manik to deliver them to orphanage....

Manik : mini chalo mere saath ....

Nandu looked at the elder ladies for permission....bcoz she is in the kitchen helping them ......

Neo : to go with ur husband  u don't need anyone's permission ....but to go with us .....u need to ask him like mukti bcoz we can't handle the angry  hulk in him....

Nandu giggled her laughs and left with manik ....they both settled in car ....

Manik : so kya chahiye tujhe diwali gift....??? He asked nandu who is busy replying to all the people who wished her through messages ....

Nandu : gifts are to be given as surprise mr Malhotra....

Manik : okay .... anything specific u want from this husband of yours ....

Nandu : you are a big gift for me manik .....

In mind ....love u so much ....she thought looking at him...

Manik : okay....okay ...I know I'm special but don't stare okay ....

Nandu smiled and kissed his cheek ....
making him happy. ...

They both reached the orphanage where neo and sadhana takes care ....

Manik asked one helper to help him with the stuff ....even Nandu helped them ..... despite of manik's protest .....

They placed everything in the big hall and all the children are assembled there ....manik asked Nandu to give all the things they bought for  children ....

Manan spent happy time with all the kids and reached home by lunch time .....

The whole family has lunch together discussing about what to do in evening party ....

They all moved to take rest bcoz they know they will get late to sleep that night..... bcoz of guests and party ...

Nandu changed into pajamas and sat on the bed waiting for manik to come .....

Manik came in hurry ..... and took his car keys and wallet....

Manik : mini i have a very important work ....I will be back by party time ....be ready by the time I come back .....

Nandu : manik it's festival.... And u are going for work ....she keeps a sad face....

Manik pecked her lips....and hugged her. ....

Manik : it's important , if not  I will never go leaving u alone....

Nandu nodes in yes understanding him , even though she is sad .....

Nandu : come soon ....

Manik : promise I will be on time ....

Nandu : okay ...

Manik gives her a box ....

Manik : get ready in this for the party  .....

Saying he left the room after  kissing her forehead .....

Nandu moved to the balcony and waved a bye to him ....he left giving her a flying kiss ....

Nandu sat on the swing and opened the gift box and felt more happy looking at her gift .....

She sat there checking her phone and sharing pictures of orphanage to her insta ..... She shared manik and her pics ......

Finally it's evening .....

She moved to washroom and got ready in simple lengha bcoz there is time for party .....

She moved down to check on arrangements....

Neo : ye kya hae .... Itna simple dress ....

Nandu : nahi mom....after lighting all the diyas I will go get ready ....

Sadhana : okay go light them ....

Nandu took all earthen lamps with oil and wicks.....and placed them all over the mandir first .....

Than she moved out and arranged all the diyas in the balcony and garden. ....

She made a big rangoli with the help of Navya and Aliya..... All three of them lighted the diyas ....ammu ,sadhana ,neo joined them to help them .....

They arranged diyas like this all over the front and back yard .......

They made simple floral decoration in balconies of thd whole house .....

Neo : now guests will be arriving Navya go get ready and take ammu with you....

Sadhana : Aliya tum bhi jaoo .....

Aliya : ok mom..

Saying those three left ...

Neo : nandu beta enough of diyas go get ready and come .....

Nandu : last set of diyas mom....plzz she asks with a cute pout ....

Neo , sadhana smiled looking at her and let her do it .....

They both moved to the other side to check with caterers,leaving nandu to decorate the last plate of diyas. ...

Nandu heard the horn of car .....and immediately stood up in happiness ......bcoz she thought manik is back home.....

She moved in hurry without carrying anything......

Manik came out from the car.  .....he smiled on seeing nandu at the threshold.....

Nandiniiiiiiiiiiiiiiii........he shouted loudly and  started running towards nandu, she thought he is happy on seeing her waiting for him.... 
........neo , sadhana ran towards him on listening to his shouts and saw nandu duppata is on fire ...and she is just starring at manik with a smile ....

Nanduuuuu.... they  both yelled together .......

Manik immediately pulled away nandu's duppata from her....

That's is when nandu saw the fire......manik immediately embraced nandu in his arms .......nandu got scared thinking of what would have happened if manik has not reached on time....

Neo, sadhana came to them and even servants and remaining member's of the family came hearing shouts. ....

Manik broke the hug and cupped her face

Manik : r u ok.....

Nandu simply nodes her head .....

Manik hugged her again .....

Manan broke the hug and saw the whole family gathered around them.....nandu immediately hid behind manik bcoz she is standing only in her blouse and lengha .....

Manik removed his coat and made her wear it ....

Dadi : shukar hae bhagwan ka ki kuch nahi hua ....

Everyone are asking her if she is ok ...... but manik shouted .....

Manik : r u mad ....tum kya kar rahi thi bahar ....

Nandu : I'm just lighting diyas ....

Manik : ghar ke sare naukar margayi kya ......he shouted more loudly ....making her flinch .....all the others never interfere when he is angry .....they are just looking at nandu ..... but tears rolled out of her eyes ......making everyone sad looking at her ....bcoz she is so happy from morning...... jumping from here and there ....

Nandu : vo ....she tried to say ......

Manik : dare u touch any diyas or crackers  .....saying he just dragged her away in anger along with him to their room......

The whole family just stood there not knowing what to say. ....bcoz angry manik is a volcano to touch .....

In manan room.....

Manik made nandu sit on bed and searched her hands and legs for any injury but found nothing .... he is just pacing around the room to control his angry......

Nandu : manik ....she called him in low tone ....

Manik saw her fear stricken  face and kissed her ......they both fell on bed .... He is kissing her without even letting her  respond ......nandu didn't say anything but let him do what he wants ...

After the kiss he just put his forehead on hers ...... Both of them are panting hard to breathe......nandu just lay there with closed eyes ......

Manik  kissed her forehead making her open her eyes .....

Nandu : I'm sorry.....she says cutely ....

Manik: sorry .....saying he got up and continued......what should i do with your sorry ....I told u to be ready before I come .....but you didn't get ready.... Ready chodo.....u are ready to hurt yourself ..... Tume idea bhi hae kya hota agar main time pe nahi ati ....nahi ..... U are just careless .....tujhe kya farak padta right ......

Nandu stood in front of him and held his hand .....

Nandu : I didn't see that ..... I was careful while lighting all the diyas .....I wanted to make my first diwali memorable that's y I did everything ......

She says in a low voice .....

Manik : memorable ..... Did I stop u from doing anything ....jaan nikal gayi thi meri tujhe vaise dekh kar......

Nandu : kuch hua nahi na manik ....

Manik : so u want me to wait till something happens ..... Dare u touch any crackers or diyas ....mujhse bura koi nahi hoga .....saying he stormed inside the washroom.....

Nandu with a dull face moved inside the closet to get ready bcoz she don't want to make him more angry ....

She is getting ready she saw Manik who came out from washroom .....she gave him smile but he didn't even look at her.....

He wore his dress and left the room......nandu sighed in disbelief but got ready .....

She moved out of her room....to see Manik standing outside of their room busy in his phone ....

On seeing her he is just lost in her bcoz she is looking cute in the saree he gifted......

They both are lost in each other .....but neo shout brought them out of trance......she asked them to come down .....

Manik held nandu hand and both of them walked down the stairs ..... bcoz there are many guest's ....Everyone felt happy looking at them ....
