Part 29

Ammu is making cabir run behind her from one shop to another ....Navya sighed in disbelief but bought dress for cabir and herself ....even got few dresses for ammu .....and also a special diwali gifts .....

After sometime cabir joins Navya and ammu moved to her chachu bcoz cabir said no to toys .....listening to Navya..... So ammu knows only her chachu ya chachi can get her toys going against Navya ......

Manik is doing shopping with ammu and nandu went to do a trail of lengha ..... someone tapped on his shoulder ....
manik turned back to see a girl behind him  ....

Manik : aru ....what a surprise ...???

Aru : who's this cutie pie ??

Manik : cabir bhai daughter ....and tum yaha. ....

Aru : I think this is shopping mall and people come here for shopping.....

Manik : ok meri sarcasm queen ..... Are u alone .... where is your husband ???

Aru :  he is busy .....so .....

Manik : okay ....

They both are engrossed in talking ....
nandu came out of the trail room to show her lengha to manik ....but seeing him busy with that girl she felt jealous ...bcoz manik is alone ammu is also not there ....as navya took ammu away.....

She moved to him....

Manik : arey mini you  came. ..meet her Arohi .....

Nandu smiled looking at her ....

Aru ; hai .... she extended her hand. ...and nandu gave her hand. ....

Manik : she is nandu my wife ....he says side hugging her ....

Aru: u got married and didnt Invite me ....

Manik : arey it happened all of a sudden  .... So sorry .....I thought of calling you for diwali party and introduce her ....

Aru : chal jhot mat bolo busy rockstar....

Manik : sachi baby ....he said with a cute pout ....

Nandu didn't like the way he is behaving with her .....she excused herself to change bcoz manik didn't even notice her dress ....she changed into her previous dress and asked the sales girl to pack her lengha....

She moved to the other side but manik is no where ....she started searching and finally found him in ladies section he is helping Arohi to buy  dresses .......

She didn't feel like disturbing him bcoz  she felt bad as he didn't even look at her lengha  , so she moved to the gifts shop and took gifts for family ...... bcoz it's the first time she is going to celebrate diwali with family.....

Manik helped Arohi but he didn't find nandu so he came back searching for her. ....  he saw nandu sitting beside dadi in jewellery store... He moved to them but nandu didn't look at him....he found it weird but ignored it thinking she is busy selecting jewelry .....

Dadi : manik choose one ....saying dadi gave him two jewelry sets .....

Manik is about to choose but Arohi comes there as she is with manik .....

Aru : nice sets dadi..... She says and even meets dadi .... Nandu than gets to know she is known by  the whole family.....

Dadi : choose one ....

Aru : red stones set....

Manik : even I liked the same dadi ....manik says ....

Nandu just sat there , manik dadi and Arohi are just talking and selecting jewelry for dhanteras they are even talking about last year diwali .... Nandu felt left out unknowingly ..... Manik  didn't notice this ....bcoz he thought nandu is here choosing jewelery.....he stood behind her chair .....and placed a necklace on her neck....

Nandu came out of trance ....

Manik : acha laga .....he asked her with a smile ....

Nandu didn't say anything ....but saw herself in mirror it's the same necklace Arohi selected....

Manik : kya hua ....??? R u ok ???

Nandu : I'm ok ....she says with a fake smile ....

Manik thought something is wrong with her .... but before he could say anything all the ladies of family came there ....they all met Arohi ....

Nandu removed the necklace manik made her wear and sat there silently ....

Neo : manik tum yaha ho .....your dad is searching for you in men's section  ......go to third floor .......she said and manik left ....

Finally all the ladies did jewllery shopping .... They all moved to food court ..... Arohi joined them ....

All are eating food but nandu didn't feel like eating bcoz she is sitting between ammu and navya. ....beside ammu manik and Arohi are sitting ....

Dadi : I want to go home....

Raj : kya hua maa ....

Dadi : my knees are Hurting ....I will go home ....you children enjoy and come ....

Nandu : I will come with you dadi ....we can't leave u alone when u are not feeling well...

Dadi : I'm fine beta ....todhi rest karungi toh theek hojaungi....driver hena to take me home ....

Nandu : no dadi ...I'm coming....

Dadi : but manik ke saath shopping bhi karna hena ....

Nandu : mera shopping hogaye dadi ....

Neo : arey nandu movie program abhi bhi baki hae ....

Nandu : even I have headache mom....todha rest karungi ...let's go later  only u and me ....

Neo : so again I should go for movie with raj....

Nandu : whole family is here mom....it's just I  really have a bad headache....

Manik : I'm coming with both of u ....let's go.....

Nandu : no driver will take us .....

Manik : no ....let's go ....saying he held dadi hand and supported her ....nandu followed them.....

They reached the car ....manik made dadi sit on the back seat .......nandu took the seat beside manik as he sat to drive leaving the driver....the journey to home is very silent.....

On reaching home nandu left with dadi and helped her in changing and made sure dadi slept after taking medicine than she left to her room.....

Manik is sitting on the bed waiting for nandu to come.... Nandu came to room but saw manik waiting for her , she took her changes and left to change ..... and came out after a few minutes....

Manik : come lay on bed I will massage your head ....he says with a smile but nandu didn't  smile ....

Nandu just lay on bed ....

Manik : kya hua meri mini ko ....y is she dull ....

Nandu: nothing I don't need massage I'm ok.....

Manik pulled her in his arms and made her sleep on his chest and slowly pressed her head.  ...after sometime manik felt wetness on his shirt .....he bent down to see nandu crying....

Manik :  kya hua mini....y these tears .... is it hurting more , should I call a doctor.....

Nandu : it's hurting but not my head ....

Manik : r u feeling any pain.....

Nandu : in my heart ....

Manik : whatt ???

Nandu : did u really see my lengha ???

Manik : vo main....

Nandu : no you didn't bcoz u are busy ....u didn't even come with me to buy  gifts for our family ....u left me alone to do shopping.....dadi found me alone in gift shop so she took me with her ....

Manik felt guilty after listening to her ....

Manik : I'm sorry I didn't mean to leave u alone ....it's just Arohi ....

Nandu : go stay with her only ....y me ???

Manik : r u mad mini.... jealous of Arohi .... seriously....

Nandu ; I'm not jealous of her bcoz I don't know her and I trust you that you will never cheat me ....but I felt left out ,u just left me near trail room and got disappeared .... Later again I saw u in jewellery shop.... It's you not Arohi ....

Manik ; I'm sorry ....I thought you are still trying lengha , so I helped Arohi ....you know who she is ....

Nandu : how will I know when u never told me about her ....

Manik : she is Karan's wife and a sister to me ....that idiot is busy in police station and she is all  alone doing her diwali shopping ,  so I felt bad and  helped her in shopping ....but I didn't know I left you alone ....plzz maaf kardo....I will never repeat it ....

Nandu : it's okay even I'm sorry ....I over reacted....

Manik : but I could smell jealousy ....

Nandu : in your dreams .....

Manik : my pyaari mini ....don't ever be jealous of anyone .... You could have joined me and arohi.... you could have known her .... Your karan bhai never takes her out , she does everything alone as she understands that he is a busy police officer..... If u are there with us today u will surely go fight with your bhai for leaving your bhabi alone....

Nandu : but bhai should atleast give her sometime ....

Manik ; he tries but fails everytime...so aru does everything alone ....

Nandu : I shouldn't have behaved stubborn , than we could have completed our shopping....

Manik : it's okay let's go alone and Complete shopping .... but did u take the necklace....???

Nandu nodes in no....

Manik : okay let's go buy everything tommorow .....

Nandu : okay ....

Manik : you look cute when you are jealous mini.....

Nandu : I'm not jealous okay ....

Manik : yeah yeah ...not at all ...

Nandu : I'm not talking to you ....saying she left him turning her back to him....

Manik laughed loudly and took her in back hug ....

Manik : my pyaari mini ....you will be the only girl of my life ..... remember that always .....

Nandu gets a smile on her face. ....
Manik teased nandu a lot for being jealous.... they both fell asleep....

It's evening Manik woke up to see Nandu still sleeping ....he moved to fresh up and left the room ....

he asked  butler to prepare dinner for dadi and moved to dadi room he spoke to dadi and told her he is taking nandu out for dinner , dadi felt so happy and asked him to spend more time with Nandu .....bcoz rest all are having dinner outside ....

Manik did some phone calls and moved back to his room to see nandu in front of the mirror combing her hair.... he moved to her and back hugged her. ...

Manik : get ready mini we are going out ....

Nandu : where are we going ???

Manik : surprise hae mini ......

Nandu : bolo na manik ....

Manik : nahi ...it's a surprise suna tumne ....go get ready.....saying he pushed her in to the closet ....

She left to get ready muttering curses ....

Finally both of them got ready in an hour ....nandu wore a simple red and white anarkali suit with big ear rings. ... And her mangalsutra ,she filled her hairline with Sindoor.... Manik wore his casual white t shirt shd blue jeans and denim jacket ....

Both of them left the house after informing dadi .... Manik even left a message to neonika such that they don't be worried ....

He started the car. ....nandu switches on the radio....

Manik : nothing meri mini , u just have to order me that's it ...

Nandu : oh really ....

Manik : anything for you mini.... you are my life .....

Nandu blushed listening to him....

Nandu ; where are we going ???

Manik : to the place I'm taking you ....

Nandu : which place are u taking me ??

Manik : I'm taking you somewhere which you will love it .....so stop asking again and again....

Nandu : so you won't tell me ....

Manik : yes ....

Nandu : fine ....she says with a grumpy face. ...manik laughs looking at her and pecks her pout ......
