Part 28

Neo : jaise ki vaha dusri seat pe beti ho na ....aaj keliye sleep with maa ....I'm going with my grand daughter to sleep ....saying she took away ammu from there.....

Raj : maa dekho na apki bahu kaise mujhe chod kar ja rahi hae ....he complains to dadi like a kid ....

Rest all  laughed looking at Raj .....

Dadi : kyu tang karte ho usse ....

Raj : ab maine kya kiya ....usko pata hae I hate movies ....but she always takes me with her ....I am seeing her from college days .....todhi dher aise hi rahegi but phir baat kar legi mujhse.....

Nandu heard everything but didn't say anything ......

After sometime manan and raj moved out to go to their rooms ....manik gets a call from kunj so he excused himself to talk to him....

Nandu : dad ....she called Raj bcoz they are walking together....

Raj : kya hua beta ...

Nandu : you love mom a lot na ....

Raj : more than my life .....you know we are good friend's than lovers or wife and husband or parents ....

Nandu : than y do u make her sad ....

Raj : I didn't do it intentionally bacha ....

Nandu : but it hurts .....

Raj : I know ....but you tell me kya karu main ....

Nandu : comment karo .....

Raj : what ???

Nandu : I have a bad habit .....mujhe agar koi tv star ya kisiki acting achi nahi lagti I comment on them ....you don't like to watch a movie but mom loves it .....so if you just comment on them or say something mom Ko lagega you are atleast trying to watch it for her and giving her some attention.....

Raj : idea buri nahi hae .....

Nandu : so !?? She asked raising her eye brows .....

Raj : next time se follow karungi......
thank you beta .....saying he kissed her forehead and left to his room...

Nandu smiled looking at him standing near the door of her room , manik who came back after call heard nandu suggestion to raj , he smiled looking at nandu and both of them moved to their room and slept .....

Next morning .....They all had breakfast and travelled to several places of devotion as well as tourist attractions.....they had a good family trip....

Finally after ten days they travelled back home ......

Now everyone are getting back to work .....nandu resumed her duty in hospital, as manik instructed they are gaurds always around her in casuals bcoz she requested him not to let anyone know that she is gaurded ... Manik obliged to her request .....

Neo , sadhana spent more time with dadi and ammu ....... Cabir , dhruv ,Raj ,rajeev are busy with office ...... Mukti is happily enjoying her life before marriage , family members are making plans for her engagement,
Aliya is helping mukti in the making of her own dance class ..... She is giving suggestions and ideas of how to start it ....so Aliya suggested mukti to work in a dance school as an instructor to know how it works ... Mukti found this idea better ....so Aliya joined the class as student to be with mukti  and mukti as instructor , they got permission from the family ..... Manik is relieved that mukti is not alone there as Aliya is also there .....abhi or dhruv daily dropped them and picked them back if they missed manik used to go ......

Manik is busy with recordings with the new director..... He came home very late ....but always used to find nandu waiting for him to have dinner with him.... sometimes if she has a night duty in hospital manik used to go and pick her up late night ....than they had dinner together......their friendship became love in their gestures and it can be seen by everyone .......all felt very happy for them.....

It's been one month after honeymoon and family vacation....manan are more free with each other .....they share each and everything ......

Like everyday ....nandu is waiting for manik in the hall....but she just fell asleep being tired ..... Even the whole family are there watching tv ....no one disturbed her ......

Manik came home ....he is surprised to see the whole family there in the hall.....that is when he noticed that it's a movie marathon which got shifted from theatre room to hall bcoz of neo and nandu .....

He wished everyone and sat beside nandu ....

Neo : wake her up ....she didn't have dinner ....

Sadhana : y so late ??? Come home fast ....you can't keep her  hungry when she comes home fully tired ....

Manik : I asked her not to wait for me ....

Neo : she will not listen .....

Manik : stubborn mini....

Nandu slowly moved in sleep .....bcoz ammu laughed loudly looking at the comedy scene in movie , this made nandu wake up Completely.....

She  opened her eyes and saw manik sitting beside her ....she gave him a bright smile .....

Manik : you didn't even fresh up right ...

Nandu gave him a sheepish smile bcoz she loves watching movies  ....

Manik : chalo lets fresh up and have dinner .......

Nandu : but my movie .....she asks with a cute pout ......

Manik : you already skipped half by sleeping .....

Nandu : okay ...

They both left to fresh up .....they came down to see everyone left to sleep except Raj neo ....they both had dinner together and left to their room ......

Manik : you can watch your movie here ....saying he gave her laptop ....

Nandu : but you are tired ......

Manik : tommorow is Sunday not an issue.....lets watch movie .....

They both settled on the bed and nandu started her Harry porter series which she can never have enough of watching ....manik just lay beside her she snuggled into him watching her movie .....manik just admired the happy smile on her face ......he tried to irritate her .....by kissing on her cheeks ...

Nandu : manik let me see ....

Manik : you made me see this more than hundred times ....let me do my work ...you watch your movie ....

Nandu : manik you are distracting me .....

Manik : maine kya kiya ....he asks with a cute pout....

Nandu : manikkk......she whinned like a kid. ....

Manik : what I'm just kissing my wife ....it's not a crime okay ....

Nandu : than y did u let me watch my movie...... now you are distracting me ....

Manik : ok fine watch your movie .....

Saying he lay on the bed......nandu just looked at him ....and regretted for stopping him......

Nandu put the laptop aside and lay down  beside him hugging him tight .....

Manik : hey ...y did u stop your movie ......he asks taking her more in his embrace .....

Nandu : I don't like it when you are grumpy .....my movie can wait .....

Manik smiled listening to her and kissed her forehead ....

Manik : I'm just teasing you mini......

Nandu : I know ....how's your recording....???

Manik started saying about his day to her and even got to know about her day .....finally unknowingly fell sleep ....

Next morning ......

Malhotra house looked like mess ....
bcoz ammu is making her mom the great Navya Malhotra run behind her for eating fruits .....she is just dodging everything on her way......and running away shouting loudly ..... of course being a Malhotra it's her birth right to throw tantrums .....

Everyone are in the hall just watching the show but none dared to interfere bcoz either they have to face a tantrum queen ammu after catching her or angry bird Navya if they help ammu ....

Dadi : Raj.....help karo na Navya ki....

Raj : nahi maa last week main hi bani thi bali ka bakra ....is week cabir karega ....

Cabir : dad ....dono ko main kuch nahi bolsakti ....

Dhruv : last time Navya bhabi got so angry on me for helping ammu ....I'm not helping her ....she didn't even give me special desert ....so I'm not helping them.....

Aliya laughed listening to him....

Sadhana : rajeev kuch toh karo.....

Rajeev : tum kuch kyu nahi karti....

Sadhana : Navya is not wrong in asking ammu to eat fruits ....but choti Malhotra madam gets angry and stops talking for a week .....I can't afford my doll staying angry on me ....

Raj ; sabka ek hi problem hae beti ka ruthna chahe vo Navya ho ya ammu ...so hum kuch nahi kar sakte ....

At the same time manik , nandu walked down fully ready to spend the sunday family time  .......ammu ran to nandu and hide behind her .......but manik picked her up in his arms .....

Behind her came running Navya .....

Navya : thank you manik for catching her....

Manik : kya hua bhabi....

Navya : fruits ...

Ammu : chachu ....no fruits plzz ....manik is just perplexed to say anything .....the whole family are just watching the show now .....

Nandu : okay ....no fruits....she says making ammu happy .....

Navya : nandu ki bachi ....dono tange todh dungi teri ....if you take her side .....

Nandu : maine kya kiya di....

Navya : jaise tu Fruits aur healthy food se baghti ho bachpan main  ...ye bhi bagh jati hae .....

Nandu : maine todhi na kaha ammu nahi kayegi .....

Navya : kya matlab hae tera .....

Nandu takes ammu from manik and makes way to dinning table ....the whole family came one by one and sat on their places to have breakfast.....

Ammu : chachi ...no fruits plzz ....

Nandu ; mere pass ek idea hae .....agar tum mere baat sunogi toh .....

Navya : nanduuuu.....she shouts loudly glaring her ....

Nandu : di chillao mat yaar .... I will be deaf bcoz of you ...go and sit on your chair ....saying she takes the bowl of fruits .....

Ammu : it's not tasty ....

Nandu laughs listening to her .....

Nandu : first let's have breakfast than we will eat fruits.....

Navya : if she doesn't eat I will feed you all those ....

Nandu shows her tongue to Navya making ammu laugh ....rest all are smiling looking at them....

They all had breakfast ....nandu left to kitchen with fruits bowl and came back with some add ons in it ....

Ammu : maasi icecream ....I love you ....saying ammu hugged nandu .....

Navya : no ice cream ....for her ...

Nandu : di....one scoop doesn't harm her and even she will complete the fruit salad with it ....kyu ammu ??

Ammu ; ok Maasi.....anything for icecream....

Nandu : see that's my baby. .....saying she kissed her cheeks ....

Manik : oh hello mini ...mujhe bhi chahiye fruit salad and icecream....

Nandu laughs listening to him but made way to kitchen and brought bowls for all....

They all made way to hall after breakfast ......

Raj : no cooking lunch....let's go out today ....

Dadi : good idea ....

Neo : shopping bhi kare diwali is near ....

Sadhana : we need to buy clothes and gifts .....

Dadi : dhanteras keliye gold bhi lena hae .....

Rajeev ; ok ok....get ready everyone let's go shopping than lunch after that gold shopping ....

Ammu ; mujhe park bhi lejana padega than only I will come ...

Neo : aur mujhe movie .......

Manik : sure darlings we will go for park and movie also now go get ready....saying he kissed both neo and ammu forehead making both of them smile .....

They all got ready in an hour and started to shopping mall in two big cars ......all the elders in one car and youngsters in one car. .....

Ammu is all the time giving a list of her demands to cabir .....like what she wanted to buy .....cabir is accepting everything she says ....where Navya is fighting with both of them ...... Saying no to each and everything ammu asked for .... Cabir is stuck between both of them......where as drulya and manan are just laughing looking at cabir ....

They all reached mall , everyone left in pairs to buy clothes first .....dadi is in saree section alone buying gifts for all the ladies for diwali .....

Ammu is making cabir run behind her from one shop to another ....Navya sighed in disbelief but bought dress for cabir and herself ....even got few dresses for ammu .....and also a special diwali gifts .....
