Part 27

Manan came back to room and manik immediately fell on bed .......nandu laughed looking at him.....

Nandu : manik don't sleep , get changed first ....

Manik : I'm not sleeping , you change and come ....he said to her ....

Nandu left to change and came back wearing a shorts and crop top ....she saw manik in the balcony talking to someone on his mobile ....she sat on the bed and covered her with sheets and switched on the television ....

Manik came after call and moved  to change , after that he just lay on the bed beside nandu...

Manik : r u sure you are okay ...

Nandu : mujhe kya hua ??? She asked being confused of his question.....

Manik: everyone had planned a date for their wife and here we are sitting in our suite .....I mean don't you have complaints.....

Nandu laughs listening to him and turns her attention to him from tv and cups his face ....

Nandu : you remember right you asked me yesterday about going on another date , but actually the lunch date we had in pajamas is the best date we can ever have , it's so simple and natural , there is nothing artificial there including our feelings.....I don't need expensive things or artificial dates, a simple breakfast , dinner , lunch with family in our home , or else a simple coffee together in our balcony is what I want ....

Manik : y r u like this mini....he says with a bright smile pulling her in a side hug .....

Nandu : like how ???

Manik : so unique just like the way I wanted my wife to be , so simple , cute and understanding , you just understand me even before I say it out ,I'm damn lucky to have you in my life , our whole family couldn't stop praising you for the efforts you did today for the party ......

Nandu : they don't have to praise me manik bcoz they are my family , "family " this word makes me feel hundreds of emotions bcoz I never had a perfect family , I just wanted to do everything to make my family feel special , I just want them happy , I never arranged an anniversary party for my mom dad bcoz they are never together neither divorced , but today when I did for badi maa and papa I'm so happy bcoz they treat me like a daughter , you know when I got to know it's anniversary I was more excited than them , I am a never a party type girl but I felt that now I have a family to celebrate , I don't have to stand on a side and give fake smiles to business people bcoz it's the party of my family where I can do anything I want bcoz I have you to protect me from creepy looks ...thank you manik for making me so happy .....

Manik : no sorry , no thank you mini , bulgayi kya ...

Nandu : I'm very happy you know .....

Manik : I can see it in your eyes ....saying he kissed her forehead .....

Nandu ; we will always be happy with our family na .....

Manik : yes we will .....

Nandu : r you not sleepy ....

Manik : not much , do you have any plans ...

Nandu : no ,but still let's take rest , we both are there tired .....

Manik nodes in yes and both of them lay on bed and unknowingly fell asleep after sometime. .......

It's nearly evening when they both fell asleep bcoz they returned after all the guests left  ....nandu woke up at eight to see manik sleeping on his stomach holding her by waist....she slowly removed his hand and kissed his forehead and left to fresh up ......

After fresh up....

Nandu sits beside manik, she is wearing her simple t shirt and jeans. ....

Nandu : manik utho....

Manik : mini sone do yaar ...don't disturb ....

Nandu : agar nahi utha toh pani dal dungi main...

Manik : mini plzz ....

Nandu : on the count of three .....

Manik : miniiii....plzz yaar mere neendh ki dushman mat bano....

Nandu : mujhe bhook lagi hae ...but who cares .... your enjoy your sleep ....main bhooke hi marjaungi ......who cares ....

Manik groans listening to her drama but sits on bed .....

Manik : happy ???

Nandu : not yet chalo fresh up hojaoo ..

Manik : you never let me sleep .....

Nandu : raat ko kya jagaran karogi if you sleep now ...

Manik : u know right I can sleep all the time  ...

Nandu : ofcourse like panda ....she says laughing loudly and  messing his hairs ....

Manik : y r u hell bent on waking me up ....

Nandu : I'm really hungry ....

Manik : order karleti food....

Nandu : I will order , utho fresh hojaoo....

Manik : such a cruel wife I have ....who never lets me sleep .....

Nandu laughs more listening to him , she picks up the phone in room and orders food ....

Manik comes out fully fresh in shorts and tshirt ....

Manik : where is the food ???

Nandu : already delivered ....

Manik : kaha hae ....

Nandu : in dadi room chalo....

Manik : what ???

Nandu : everyone are on date , dadi is alone even ammu is not there , so let's go have dinner with dadi ....

Manik smiled listening to her and opened the door , nandu just shivered to cool breeze ....manik glared her for not wearing a jacket , she immediately took her jacket and wore it ....

He held her hand and both of them walked to dadi room .....they knocked on the door and dadi opened it with a serious face ...

Manik : kya hua dadi .....

Dadi ; arey maine food order nahi  kiya phir bhi usne itna sara khana deliver kardi .....main kuch puch rahi thi aur vo chala gaya ....

Manik : relax dadi , nandu ne food order kiya for three of us ....

Dadi: toh theek hae .....mujhe laga wrong delivery hogayi food ...

Manik : chalo apne rest kiya , he asks side hugging her ...

Dadi : ha rest kiya ....aur tum dono...

Nandu : bahut din hogayi hum dono ne saath me time spend nahi kiya,  so dinner karenge first phir bahut sare baate ....

She says like an excited kid.....

Dadi : acha chalo khalete hae.....

Nandu started serving food , dadi and manik sat on either sides of her ,she served dadi first than manik and took her plate ....she put very less in her plate , manik immediately added food in her plate , making her pout ...

Nandu : manik itna zyada ....

Manik : chup chap Complete karo ....Varna forcefully kila dungi tume....

Nandu starts eating with a cute pout ,
dadi smiled looking at both of them ....

Dadi : y didn't you both go on date ...

Manik : dadi , we already saw all the places here and she is fully tired with all these arrangements , there is lot of time to go y to hurry ....

Dadi : jaise ap dono ko  ache lage. ...

Nandu : vaise dadi , dadaji ne apko kabhi date pe leke gaye kya ....

Dadi : us samay main date kya , apni sohar se baat karne se bhi dar lagti thi , vo bahut gusse vala tha .....mere toh bachpan main shaadi hogayi ....meri maa baba ne kabhi mujhe datha tak nahi , main toh inki samne janese bhi darthi thi , lekin ek baar hum dono ko akele mandir jana tha , mujhe bahut dar  lagatha , lekin meri saas ne bola ja beta vo tera hi pati hae,  toh maine unki  baat manli ...main height main bahut choti hu na,  toh main unki cycle par chad nahi payi ghar ke paas,  unhone bola paydal chalo aur main chal padi unke saath,  vo bhi paydal hi aya par cycle ke saath , bina kuch bole hum jarahe thi  , kafi dur jane ke baad vo rukh gayi thi , aur dekha toh vaha koi nahi tha , main dar gayi ki ye mujhse gussa na kare  , lekin phir unhone mujhe uthaya aur samne bithaya aur cycle chalaya , aur mandir main bola ki main bahut hi achi ladki hu aur ye bhi bola ki unse baat karna padega tabhi vapus lejayenge mujhe .... Toh maine pucha ap dathogi toh nahi na, vo bahut zorse has pade , phir kaha ki unki awaz vaise hi hae ....vo kabhi dathna nahi chahta tha .... toh phir shuru hui humari dosti , jo bhi baat thi main jakar sirf unhi se puchti thi , phir aye bache rajeev aur Raj dono apne papa se bahut darthe thi , phir bhi pyaar bahut karte the apne papa se , unki har baat mante the bina kuch puche , vo manik aur bachon se bahut strict rehta tha  ....phir bhi ye log uni ke pass jate thi ....unhe beti bahut pasand hae lekin humara dono beta hae ....neo aur sadhana se bahut pyaar karte kabhi in dono se unchi awaz main baat tak nahi kiya .....mukti unki ladki thi ....saal beeth gayi ki vo mujhe chodkar chalegayi ....par unke jaise pyaar koi nahi karta ..... Baate kabhi nahi bolti vo ....bas jo sahi hae apnon keliye vahi karta tha..... Main kush kismat vali hu jo mujhe unke jaise pati mila hae .....

Nandu : ap  bahut pyaar karta hona dadaji se ,aur miss bhi karte hona ....

Dadi : pyaar bahut karta hu , kyuki vo aise hi hae ki koi pyaar kare bina reh hi nahi pate .... Miss nahi karti ab kyuki manik bilkul vaise hi diktha hae jaise unki dadaji ....jab bhi isko dekhthi hu aisa lagta hae unhe hi dekh raha hu ....

Nandu : acha. ..  toh aur bolo na dadu ke bare main....

Dadi is saying stories of Raj , rajeev their childhood and about dadu , with these talks they Completed eating food ......

They didn't even have a check of time laughing with each other sharing memories....

A knock on the door disturbed them ,manik opened the door to see Raj and neo with sleeping ammu ....

Neo : tum  Yaha ....

Manik : we are with dadi , he gives them way they see dadi sitting and caressing nandu hairs and she is sleeping on dadi lap.....nandu sits on the bed seeing them and greets them .....

Raj : maa apne tablets liya ....

Dadi : ha beta , hum teeno saath main khana kaya aur meri doctor ne mujhe tablet bhi kilaya ....dadi says with a never
Ending smile caressing nandu face. ...

Raj : acha kiya nandu beta , maa always skips medicine, that's y I check on her personally....

Nandu : it's ok dad , I will make sure she doesnt miss it from now ....

They both also settle down on bed by making ammu sleep there....

Manik : how's the movie ....on listening this question Raj immediately lay down his head on dadi lap ,bcoz nandu is now sitting beside manik....

Neo: your dad again slept in the hall ,guess what he didn't even know the movie name for which he got tickets ....

Manan and dadi laughed loudly, but neo stopped them bcoz of sleeping ammu , but still they giggled ....

Raj : neo yaar , that's a single theatre , so only one movie will be there , so how will I know it's cartoon Film....

Nandu : cartoon film ....

Neo : yes nandu beta , it's a cartoon film acha hae I had ammu with me , first I thought Raj got tickets for that movie bcoz ammu is with us but the truth is this person didn't even see the poster also ....as soon as we entered the hall he just opened his coat and gave me , I thought he gave me bcoz I shouldn't feel cold , but he again took it back and covered his face and slept ....

Another round of laughter erupted from all of them. ..

Neo: best part is Interval main ammu woke him up asking popcorn , he left to get popcorn but didn't come back for a long time , I thought where is he I just got worried .....ki inhe kuch ho toh nahi gaya ....I even called him no response.....I even went out and saw but he is not there .....

Nandu : kya hua dad r u ok.....

Raj : stop worrying bacha kuch nahi hua mujhe ...see I'm in  front of your eyes .....

Neo : unse kya puch rahi ho mujhse pucho..... He just sat on the seats behind us beside a lady and a kid and slept again thinking it to be us by giving them popcorn .....

Nandu : seriously ...

Raj just hide his face with his hands .....

Manik : dad you didn't see their faces .....he asked laughing loudly ....

Neo : janab ko ticket numbers bhi yaad nahi , that's how he got tickets for us .....

Raj : sorry na neo galti ho gayi ....

Neo : jaise ki vaha dusri seat pe beti ho na ....aaj keliye sleep with maa ....I'm going with my grand daughter to sleep ....saying she took away ammu from there.....

Raj : maa dekho na apki bahu kaise mujhe chod kar ja rahi hae ....he complains to dadi like a kid ....

Rest all  laughed looking at Raj .....
