Part 24

Manik saw her sleeping and thought she is really having headache, so he got some balm and applied on her forehead , nandu opened her eyes on seeing his hand and tears brimmed in her eyes seeing his care , but his words from last night hurt her a lot ....

Manik : I'm sorry ,I disturbed your sleep ....

Nandu : I don't need a care taker plZ .....

She said and turned the other side to sleep , pushing his hand......

Nandu fell asleep , after sometime she woke up to a big sound , she opened her eyes to see manik on the floor covered with balloons .....he is fully tangled with threads which has some papers stuck to it ...

She got up from bed and put hand on manik shoulder , he is looking like a cute kid fully tangled with ballons and papers, manik is just starring nandu who is carefully untangling him with full concentration .....

Finally she took away the threads  from manik and is about to stand up but manik pulled her on his lap......

Manik : I'm sorry ,he says kissing her cheek ....holding her tight in his embrace ....

Nandu : chodo mujhe .....

Manik : I'm really sorry , but I can't leave you bcoz I can't live without you ...

Nandu : acha ye bolne se pehle sochna chahiye , words hurt more than anything mr Malhotra ....

Manik: I know I did a mistake but plzz forgive me na mini , I swear I will never say such things .,....plzz ...he keeps a cute face ....

Nandu smiles a little looking at him , manik hugs her tight in happiness, saying uncountable sorry in her ears.....

Nandu : bas bas apna sorry pravachan band kardo ....

Manik gives her a sheepish smile ....

Nandu : ye sab kya hae ....

Manik : I'm just decorating the room for you with ballons , flowers and candles ....

Nandu : acha toh ye kya hae ....she asks the cards beside him stuck to the threads  ....

Manik : sorry cards ....

Nandu : in sab ki zaroorat nahi hae , how did you get tangled ....

Manik : I fell down from the stool when I'm hanging these ....

Nandu : what ??? Kahi lagi to nahi ,  utho saying she immediately got up from his lap.....

Manik gave her his hand like a kid , nandu just took his hand but manik is stubborn to get up ....

Manik : I will only get up if u promise to have lunch with me....

Nandu : I'm not hungry ....

Manik : but I'm hungry bcoz I didn't even eat proper breakfast ....

Nandu : I will order food for u ....

Manik : I will only eat if u feed me ....

Nandu : no....

Manik : than okay leave me , I'm fine sitting here on the cold floor , fully hungry but who  cares....

Nandu : okay fine , get up ....she says pulling his hand , he immediately got up kissing her cheek ....

Manik : you are such a sweet heart ,I know u will have lunch with me ,so come with me ....

Saying he took her to the balcony where everything is arranged for a nice lunch date .....

Nandu looks at her dress after looking at the decoration.....

Manik : u look cute in pajamas ,don't think so much chalo ....

Nandu : wait let me change ....

Manik : oh hello mini monster ,maine koi armani suit nahi pehni , even I'm wearing night dress ....

Nandu than saw manik , he is looking hot in vest and shorts .....

Manik made her sit on the chair and sat opposite to her after calling someone from his phone , he served them lunch , nandu saw all the dishes he served , are her favourite .....

Manik took the first bite and forwarded it to nandu , but she has tears in her eyes remembering his words ....

Manik immediately took his chair which is opposite to her and came beside her and side hugged her ....

Manik : sorry for hurting you , I swear it is unintentional , I didn't mean a word of it , plzz mini ....

Nandu looked at him to see the honesty of his words ....

She opened her mouth and he fed her happily , after lunch he even fed her desert ....

Manik : this is our first fight as wife and husband , so this is for you .....saying he gives her a small box .....

Nandu : ye kya hae ...

Manik : open it ....

Nandu opens the box given by manik to see a pendant with chain .....

Manik took the chain from nandu ....

Manik : M for mom , mumma , maa anything for you  is manik Malhotra from today , whenever you see this,  remember one thing that I'm your everything , in the same way your mine , never ever cry for someone who is not worth your tears , you are the best daughter anyone can have , I always wished to have a daughter like you, for sure my wish will become true bcoz u will be the mom of our kids .....

Saying he made her wear the pendant,nandu blushed listening to his last words ....

Manik : never take this out , keep it with you always , my first gift for you after marriage , I'm gifting you myself inform of this pendant , I'm all yours ....

Nandu has tears listening to him and hugged him tight crying out loud , he hugged her back safely in his embrace ....

Manik : bas bhi kardo mini , you are crying from last night it's not good for health, next time if I hurt you , come straight to me and punch me hard but don't go anywhere leaving me , even though we fight I want you in front of me ....

Nandu : okay ....

Manik : chalo , let's catch some sleep ....

Nandu : I slept till now , I'm not sleepy ...

Manik: how's your headache ??

Nandu : better ....

Manik: atleast let's lay down on bed and watch tv ....

Nandu : okay ....

They both move in to see a lady cleaning the room...

Nandu : ye sab ...

Manik: I only called them to clean ,come saying he made her sit on bed ....

The House keeper , cleaned the room as well as an other person came and took away all the empty dishes from the balcony ....

Manik closed the door and joined nandu on bed, nandu is sitting resting her back on the headboard , manik slept by keeping his head on her lap .....

Manik : which movie ??

Nandu : Harry porter ....

Manik : ok ....

They both are watching the movie in silence , after sometime Nandu saw that manik fell asleep ,she covered him with duvet ....

Nandu in mind , looking at manik and the pendant gifted by him...

I love you so much monster , I don't know how to tell u this ,but today you gave me a hope to tell u this as early as possible bcoz you gave me yourself to me by saying you are mine only mine , so I know how possessive and protective you are for your loving ones , so I will tell you that I'm all yours , only yours .....

Thinking all this she is caressing his hairs making him snuggle more into her , she held him like a kid and kissed his forehead .....

It's nearly evening , nandu fell asleep in sitting position only , the continuous ring of her phone disturbed nandu sleep , she woke up Nd lifted her call not disturbing manik .....

Nandu : ok I will check and call u back ....she says on the call ....

She is checking her phone ,manik woke up and saw himself on nandu lap...

Manik : oye pagal ladki , you could have placed me on pillow , why did u sit like this ....

Nandu : uffo manik , I'm fine , don't disturb me ....

Manik : aise bhi kya hae us phone main that you are not even listening to me....

Saying he sat beside her and saw her phone,nandu is seeing some decorations and food list ...

Manik : ye sab kya hae ...

Nandu : if u have forgotten kal bade papa and badi maa  ki anniversary hae ...

Manik ; how did I forget this ???

Nandu ; cabir jiju ko yaad hae , we planned everything last night , that's y I stayed back in the morning to  instruct the manager ....

Manik : you didn't tell me .....

Nandu : bcoz we had a fight ....

Manik : acha ok , any help I can do....

Nandu : fresh up hojaoo , we have loads to do before everyone comes back ....

Manik : ok ....saying he left to washroom.....

Nandu is talking to the manager on call when manik came out fully ready ....

Nandu cuts the call and turns to him...

Nandu : you just order coffee , I will fresh up and come ...

Manik : let's have it restaurant ,come fast ....

Nandu nodes in yes and left to fresh up ,after sometime she came out wearing a simple top and leggings,and is ready to move out ....

Manik : oh hello , go wear some sweater , it's very cold outside....

Nandu : I became wet in the morning , I gave for washing .....

Manik takes out his jacket from luggage and makes her wear it .....

Nandu : it's very big .....

Manik laughs looking at her ....

Manik : you look cute mini , he says pulling her cheeks making her irritated....

Nandu : I'm not coming like this , saying she sat on the bed ....

Manik than took out shawl from nandu bag and gave her , she removed the jacket and covered herself  in the shawl ,than both of them moved to the reception .....

Manager : good evening madam , we are waiting for you..

Nandu : is eveything ready ??

Manager ; this way madam , saying he took manan to the second floor where everything is decorated , manik is just out of words looking at everything but nandu is still pointing out changes .....

Manager came with a plate which has small cups of different varieties of dishes .....

Manager : taste these and tell us what to confirm for menu for tommorow lunch ....

Nandu : manik , plzz ....

Manik and nandu both had small piece of dishes and finally they gave the menu for lunch......

Nandu even spoke to him about midnight party which is only celebrated in presence of family .....

Leaving manan the manager left ....

Manik : y lunch menu ,we are only family here ....

Nandu : it's the 35 anniversary of bade papa and maa, so cabir jiju and dhruv jiju already invited family , relatives ,
business partners everyone personally , who ever wants can attend it tommorow ,so that's y lunch arrangements....

Manik : they didn't discuss with me....

Nandu : If u have forgotten u have ignored all the calls ....

Manik gives a sheepish smile ...

Manik ; they are teasing me ....

Nandu ; that's y even they ignored you yesterday , it's just for fun ...

Manik : y lunch , y not dinner ....

Nandu : today midnight party with family , lunch with guests  and after that
Dhruv jiju and aliya di arranged a date for them .....

Manik : maine kuch bhi nahi kiya ....

Nandu : we both are wife and husband , whatever I do is also done by you , I have arranged dresses and everything for party so don't worry ....

Manik : what will I do without you ....he says keeping a cute pout ....

Nandu laughs looking at  his face ....

They both moved to restaurant and had coffee and had a good walk in the garden of the restaurant , manik is all time holding nandu by her waist ......

Finally everyone came back after watching some places, they all had dinner in restaurant of the hotel ....

Nandu sent away all the elders to sleep , all the youngsters gathered in manan room to discuss the remaining things of how to recieve guests and also about night party .....

Navya : nice decoration in your room....she says looking at balloons and stars....

Mukti : I didn't see this decoration yesterday....

Nandu is just sitting beside manik and blushing , opposite to her drulya are sitting on bed where as mukti,cabir Navya took the couch beside bed. .. ..

Cabir : so u came back to have a date with nandu .....

Manik : nothing like that ,okay ....

Dhruv : nahi manik accept it ,ye dekho candles , flowers.....

Manik didn't know what to say back.....

Aliya : nice pendant nandu , lagta hae date pe manik ne gift kiya ....

Nandu just hide behind manik not knowing what to say , they all laughed loudly looking at her blushing .....

Manik : don't tease us , yes I had a date with my wife kisiko problem hae .....

Precap : anniversary celebrations .....

Will manan fight again ??
