Part 20

Manik moves to kitchen and comes back with some juice for both of them and places in front of nandu on the table.....

Manik : oh my mini....this is our farm house ..... You said you don't want fans and media ....this is outskirts of city....no one will disturb you .....we can also go home but I want to show you a beautiful place so I got you here .....come on drink this juice than we will go....

Nandu : what's the place ....

Manik :my favourite place ...
Chalo complete this I will take you .....

Nandu : okay saying she completed the juice ......

Manik : chalo lets go ....

Nandu : where ???

Manik : I will show you something and you will love it .....

Nandu : okay....

Both of them got up from the couch but nandu ki pallu got stuck with the edge of table and she is about to fall ......manik caught her in his arms ....

Manik : who the hell asked you to wear this saree ???? He asks making her stand properly still holding her in his arms ......

Nandu : its my first day after marriage so I wore it....am I looking  bad ....
she asks with a sad face .....

Manik : you look beautiful in whatever you wear bcoz not your dressing but you are innocent kid at heart which makes you special ..... But today in hotel those idiots are starring you I didn't like it ..... and you are about to fall ....so plzz don't wear it when I'm not around to protect you ......

Nandu hugs him tight .....with happiness that he is protective towards her .....

Nandu : okay. ...she accepted with a smile .....

Manik : let's get you changed first .....

Nandu : I didn't carry anything ....

Manik : we have dresses here ....Navya bhabi Aliya bhabi and mukti ki......go take something and change bcoz I want you to enjoy and you can't do that in this dressing..... Next time when we come here I will make sure your wardrobe is filled with what you want.....it's sudden so I didn't arrange anything .....

Nandu nodded in yes and moved to mukti room and changed herself in jeans and crop top and moved to see even manik changed his dress .......

Imagine nandu with long hair till waist ......

Manik : chalo ....now you look perfect .......

Nandu : do I look that bad in saree....

Manik : you look etheral in saree but I never seen you wearing it before....till I saw you in marriage .....and today its the third time i have seen you in saree ....I never knew you know how to wear saree.....

Nandu : I'm a South indian girl and I definitely know  how to wear saree ....

Manik : not all south indian girls know how to wear saree ....I'm not saying you look bad .... it's just new to see you like that ...I'm habitual to see you like this ......

Nandu : ok fine kaha Jana hae......

They both moved to the back side gate ....

Nandu : y r we going back side ......

Manik : wait and watch .....

Manik held her hand and slowly moved little far from the back yard of house ....

Nandu : I can hear waves .. is there any beach....are we going to beach....

Manik : yes...

Nandu : our farm house is near beach ...

Manik : dadu loves beach....so he got this house....I will show dad  favourite place now. ....

They reach a small bridge which connects them to beach .....

Nandu : it's beautiful ....she says leaning on the railings of wooden bridge....

Manik : chalo....we need to go ..

Nandu : is this not dads favourite place ....

Manik : no ...come ......

They both moved to the other side .....nandu just stood there looking at beach ....there are some trees little far from them......

Manik : vo Dekho ....he shows nandu the other side .....

Nandu runs there like a kid .......

Nandu : wow ....manik it's just awesome .......saying she sat on the edge .....manik sat beside her ....

Manik : dad loves this place ..... Bcoz his dad means my dadu  owns this house ......dad constructed this gazebo after taking over business ....he used to say that he spent most of the happy days on beach with his dad ..... so he wanted to feel him close ....so he spend most of the time here .....in fact mom dad had many dates here in this gazebo ...

Nandu : everyone will love to have a date here manik ....specially at night it would look more beautiful with lights ....

Manik : yes ...

They both sat there talking about anything and everything......

Manik : chalo ...let's go ..we need to have lunch and return back....

Nandu : can't we stay here for some more time .......plzz saying she keeps a cute pout ....

Manik : you don't have to say plzz mini ......let's come here whenever you want ....but we need to do packing bulgayi kya....

Nandu : y to go on vacation when this place is so beautiful....

Manik : but this place is ours and it's your wish to go to  family vacation na .....let's go ...

Manan left to the farm  house to see lunch ready .....they asked the servant to go and have lunch .....they served themselves and had lunch.....

They both got ready to go back to Malhotra mansion....

In car .....

Manik : kya hua ....

Nandu : nothing thinking of dad. ...

Manik : your dad is safe with me ....I kept him in a place where your mom can't reach him....trust me ....he is now my dad also ....

Nandu : I want to see him once .....

Manik : now if we go to him  your mom will get to know where he is ....she might harm him in our absence so after coming back I will convience him to live with us ....

Nandu : okay ....

Manik : can I ask you something .....

Nandu : yes ...

Manik:  why is your dad scared of your mom ?????

Nandu : I'm his weakness ..    she black mailed dad saying she will kill me ....but dad doesn't know that she can't kill me .....

Manik : y ....

Nandu : bcoz the whole property is on my name ....not even dad or my so called mom...... If anything happens to me ....that will directly go to trust...
which my dad runs .....that's y devil never harms me physically but irritates me Mentally ....

Manik : that's over mini ..you don't have to face her anymore I will make sure of that .......

Nandu : I have never seen them together not even in any picture .....
and you know I have never seen my childhood pictures.....I only have pics from my fifth birthday ..... whenever I asked dad he said they are burnt. .....
bcoz house got fire once in my childhood ....

Manik : y do you need those pictures....

Nandu : I just wanted to see atleast one glimpse of mom dad being together with smiles on their faces......

Manik : ok than we will talk to your dad and know what happened between them ...if it's a fight or any misunderstanding we will solve it..... Let's see if the devil can be good. ...

Nandu : never ...she says like a whisper.....which manik heard but didn't say anything....he just held her hand with one and drove with the other......

Finally they both reached home to see everyone back home .....they all sat together sharing what they did the whole day.....

Than everyone had dinner and left to sleep ......

Nandu is packing luggage for both of them sitting in closet ....manik is talking to his manager about cancelling the deal of new album....
bcoz he is busy......

After that he moved to the closet to see nandu still busy....he sat beside her .......

Manik : mini take this ...some one is waiting to talk to u ....

Nandu saw his phone which he held for her ....she took it Nd saw private number ....but put the phone on her ear .....

She heard .....shona .....she has tears which are wiped by manik ....he immediately side hugged her knowing her emotions.....

Nandu : dad ....

Mr Murthy : I'm perfectly fine stop crying shona.... To be clear I'm in the safe place where your husband kept me this is  More pleasant than the place I used to live with your mom...

Nandu : I missed you ...

Mr Murthy : I know u missed me....manik told me how you are worried for me..... But trust me like his name he is a gem ..... I am glad my daughter is married to him....

Nandu : even I'm so happy....

Mr Murthy : stay happy with him.... I'm in a better place not with that cruel lady .....so be free .....enjoy life with him ....leaving all your worries.... I made some papers sitting here with manik ki lawyer  ..... They will help us to get rid of that lady permanently ....
than I will come to you ....

Nandu : pakka ....ap aoogi....

Mr Murthy : it's so long I lived with family ...I was bound to leave my family for that lady .... Now I'm getting a chance to live with my daughter and her family ....and yeah I didn't accept it easily but I must say you got a stubborn husband .....

Nandu laughed listening to him.....and looked at manik face ......he raised his eye brows asking what .... Nandu nodded saying nothing ...

Nandu : are you taking your medicine on time...

Mr Murthy : as I said your stubborn husband left me with gaurds .....your favourite kaka to cook and take care of me ....and full servants.... Including a nurse and good  doctor for treatment who comes every two days .....he is taking care like I'm a kid .....I'm blessed to have him as a son .... God answered all my prayers and sent him for us ....

Nandu:  yes dad ....in blessed to have him .....

Manik cringed his eyebrows listening to her bcoz he is unable to hear the other side.....he just lay on the couch  and put his head on nandu ki lap ....
she is talking to her dad caressing manik ki hairs ......manik being tired fell asleep in her lap.....nandu cut the call and saw manik who is sleeping on her lap.....she kissed his forehead and made him sleep properly on the couch  placing a cushion under his head ....she  completed the packing ....
finally she woke him and both of them moved to room and slept there on bed  being tired..........

Next morning ......

Manan got ready and left to airport after saying the whole family to come there as early as possible......abhi came to the airport directly to give them send off along with the police friend......

Karan Kundra ..... A police officer and a good friend of manik .....he is elder to manik but friends from childhood..
he is already married.... and has a small baby who is just an year old .....

Manik : hello kk .....

Karan : hello mm...

They both laugh and hug each other .....

Manik : everything is fine right .....he asked after breaking the hug ....

Karan : everything is under control ...
u take care of your wife ....sasur ji safe hae .....

Manik :mini  meet karan my friend....

Nandu : hai....

Karan : nice to meet u ....

Nandu : thanks for saving me and dad ...

Karan : that's my duty .....actually its manik who  saved you....I and abhi just helped him....

Nandu : but still you are keeping dad safe ....thank you so much....

Karan : don't say thank you choti ...
sorry .....

Nandu : you can call me choti karan bhai ....

Karan : you look like my sister .....

Nandu : vo what does she do ....where is she ???

Karan : she is no more .....

Nandu : I'm sorry....

Karan : it's okay .....don't say sorry ...
now I have you na ....

Nandu : thank you bhai saying she hugged him....

Manik smiled looking at them but abhi felt jealous seeing nandu calling karan bhai ....

Precap : manan ki nainital trip ......

Will abhi be more jealous seeing nandu with karan ??
