It was the Mehendi Ceremony of Jay and Mahi. Everyone gathered at the hall and the girls were applying Mehendi on their hands.

Suddenly Shubh came there looking for Sana but couldn't find her among the girls.

"Aap sab toh yaheen pe ho, phir Sana kaha pe hai? Woh nahi laga rahi Mehendi?" He asked.

Sid immediately frowned hearing that.

"Tumhe kya kaam hai uss se?" He said being little annoyed.

"Nahi matlab... Main toh aise hi puch raha tha..." Said Shubh being nervous by his tone.

Sid didn't say anything else but actually he was feeling jealous seeing the way Shubh was looking for Sana.

Suddenly Shubh's phone rang and he left from there to attend the call.

"Waise Sana ko ab tak aa jaana chahiye tha. Bohut der laga diyi usne." Said Mahi further.

"Jay Bhaiya bhi nahi dikh rahe. Sayad busy honge. Sidharth, tum jaa ke Sana ko bula laao na." Said Sanjana.

"Main?" Asked Sid to which Sanjana nodded in yes.

"Hum sab toh idhar Mehendi laga rahe hai. Tum hi free ho. Jaa ke pucho na woh kab tak aa rahi hai."

"Haan Sid. Dekh na jaa ke." Said Mahi.

Sid finally agreed and went towards Sana's room to call.

Standing outside the room, Sid knocked at the door. Sana's voice came from inside.

"Darwaja khula hai. Andar aa jaao."

Sid opened the door and entered the room. Sana immediately looked at him.

"Ohh tu hai." She said and continued doing her make up.

"Kyu? Tu kise expect kar rahi thi?" He asked sternly without looking at her.

"Matlab? Main kisko expect karungi?" Asked Sana being confused.

"Woh tu hi jaane..... Anyways, tu neeche kab aa rahi hai?"

"Mera bas ho hi gaya. Aa rahi hoon." Said Sana turning to Sid.

Sid looked at Sana from top to toe. She was looking mesmerizing but he tried to ignore it as according to him she didn't dress up for him but for someone else.

"Zaldi aa jaa. Tera boyfriend dhund raha hai tujhe." Said Sid calm but angrily to which Sana frowned.

Sid started leaving when Sana said, "Boyfriend matlab......."

She was about to move but suddenly stopped as the hook of her blouse opened and she immediately held it with her one hand.

Realising that Sana was not coming, Sid returned to her room and saw her standing in that position.

"What happened? Tu aise kyu khadi hai?" He asked being confused.

"Woh.... Tu kisi ko bula ke laayega please.... I mean.... kisi aurat ko." Said Sana hesitantly while looking down.

"Lekin kya....." Sid stopped suddenly as he saw Sana clutching her blouse tightly from behind through the mirror.

He understood the problem and walked towards her making her nervous. Before she could react, he pulled her another hand and their bodies collided making her gasp.

After so long they were standing this much close to each other. They looked at each other intensely and felt a burning sensation ran through their spines.

Sana's heartbeat increased as she could feel Sid's hot breath. She could feel a lot of emotions at that moment because of this closeness between them.

She somehow controlled her emotions and said, "Sid tu kya....."

Before she could complete, Sid removed her hand from her blouse and pulled up the hook.

"Humare pyaar ko toh sambhal nahi paayi. At least apni dress ko sambhal le." He whispered making her eyes teary.

He then left her while she looked at him being hurt.

"Chal." Said Sid with a poker face while Sana nodded in yes composing herself.

They both came downstairs together. Sana went and sat with other girls while saying, "Sorry thoda late ho gaya."

"Koi na. Tu Mehendi toh lagwa rahi hai na?" Asked Mahi.

"Haan zaroor."

After that, a girl started applying Mehendi on Sana's hand.

"Aap ke hone wale husband ke naam ka 1st letter baataiye." Said the Mehendi Artist to Mahi.

"J" replied Mahi and she wrote it on her hand.

Rita Ji thought something and said, "Sanjana, tu bhi Sidharth ka naam apne haath pe likhwa le. Akhir bohut zald tum dono ki bhi shaadi hone wali hai."

Sana's face fell hearing that. She looked at Sid sadly while he just took off his eyes to avoid eye-contact with her.

Sanjana smiled hearing that and told the Mehendi artist to write 'S' on her hand.

"Aap bhi koi letter likhwana chahti hai?" Asked Sana's Mehendi artist after sometime.

"S" said Sana being absent minded and the Mehendi artist wrote it on her hand.

After a while, Shubh returned there and saw Sana applying Mehendi on her hand.

"What's up?" Said Shubh sitting beside Sana to which her thoughts broke.

"Kaha tha tu?" Asked Sana looking at Shubh.

"Main kaha tha? Abbe tu kaha thi? Kab se dhund raha hoon. Zaroori baat karni thi tujhse."

Sana rolled her eyes and said, "Ladkiyon ko ready hone mein time lagta hai. Ab baata kya baat hai."

"Woh aaj subah hi office se call aaya. Ek important meeting ke liye Dubai jaana hoga. It's urgent." He said in a low voice.

Sana widened her eyes and said in a low voice, "Kya? Matlab tu Dubai chala jaayega? Yaar main akeli padh jaaungi yaaha."

"Idhar sab hai na? Bilkool akeli nahi padegi tu. Aur main shaadi tak wapas aa jaaunga don't worry."

"Ok fine."

Shubh noticed that Sana was little upset. He then noticed the 'S' written on her hand and asked jokingly, "Arrey tere haath mein 'S' kyu likha hai? Mere liye likha hai kya?"

Sana also noticed it and realised what blunder she had done.

But she didn't show it on her face and said dramatically, "Haan haan. Ab jo naam dil pe likha hai woh haath pe likhne mein kaisi sharam?"

"Haaye main marr gaya." Said Shubh dramatically hitting his own chest.

"Nautanki!" Said Sana laughing.

Meanwhile Sid saw them laughing from far and again felt a sharp pain in his heart. He remembered those days when Sana used to laugh like this only with him. He felt bad thinking that Shubh replaced him in her life.

"Kaisi lag rahi hai meri Mehendi?" Asked Sanjana excitedly standing in front of Sid.

Sid shrugged off his thoughts and said smiling, "It's beautiful Sanjana."

"Thanks. Ab tum iss mein 'S' dhundo."

Sid sighed and started looking at her Mehendi holding her hand.

Sana's eyes fell on them and once again her heart broke. Today it could be them if she was not forced to leave Sid that day. And now when she wanted to return, there was no way left. She was replaced in his life by Sanjana.

Like this they both went through the same pain after seeing their love with someone else.

Later that day...

Sanjana was walking in the corridor hurriedly with her Mehendi filled hands when suddenly Shubh came in front of her. He was also in hurry and they blocked each other's way.

They both made a face because of this. Sanjana tried to pass from another side but Shubh again blocked her way as he was also trying to pass from the same side. Sanjana then tried to pass from the opposite side but this time also same thing happened.

"Hato na mere raaste se." Said Sanjana getting irritated.

"Arrey tum mere raaste mein aayi ho, toh tum hato." Said Shubh.

"Uff! Dekho mere paas abhi in sab ka waqt nahi hai. Shaam ko Sangeet hai. Itne saare arrangments baki hai, I have to go. Side please."

Saying that, Sanjana pushed Shubh aside with her elbow and tried to leave when suddenly her dupatta got stuck at the corner of a table kept there.

Sanjana turned around and got more irritated seeing it. She tried to free her dupatta by moving as she couldn't use her hands because of Mehendi. But it didn't work.

Seeing her struggling, Shubh said, "If you want, I can help you."

Sanjana didn't say anything and kept trying. Finally Shubh sighed and bent down a little. He hold her dupatta gently and freed it.

"Ho gaya." He said getting up.

"Th... Thanks." Said Sanjana in a low voice without looking at him.

"Kya kaha? Sunai nahi diya." Said Shubh intentionally which Sanjana understood.

"Maine kaha na mere paas inn sab ka waqt nahi hai?" She said loudly making him little scared.

"Haan toh main kaunsa khali baitha hoon? Abhi ke abhi saara saman pack kar ke Dubai ke liye nikalna hai."

"Matlab tum jaa rahe ho?" Asked Sanjana frowning.

"Haan." Replied Shubh. "Kyu tumhe koi problem hai?"

"Mujhe kyu problem hogi? Aise shaadi ke functions chhor ke koi jaata hai kya? Manners hi nahi hai.... Phir bhi jaana hai toh jaao.... Mujhe bohut kaam hai. Bekar mein late kara diya."

Saying that, Sanjana left from there.

"Yeh mujhse itna kyu chidhti hai? Ajeeb hai!" Thought Shubh making faces.

In The Evening...

It was Jay and Mahi's Sangeet Ceremony. Many of them were giving dance performance while others were enjoying. Sanjana was hosting the ceremony.

"Toh ab ek shandaar dance performance dene aa rahe hai, humari pyaari dulhan ke chhote bhai, Sidharth Shukla." She said and everyone clapped while Sid frowned.

"Wait! Wait! Sanjana maine tumse kaha tha na ki main koi perform nahi kar raha?" He said.

"Par maine toh suna hi nahi." Said Sanjana giving mischievous smile. "Aur waise bhi tum Dulhan ke Bhai ho. Ek dance toh banta hai."

"Nahi. Yeh dance vance nahi hoga mujhse."

"Par kyu?" Asked Mahi. "Tune toh ek baar college fest mein bohut accha dance kiya tha. Ab kya hua?"

"Tab ki baat aur thi Didi. Ab bohut kuch badal gaya hai." Said Sid in a serious tone looking at Sana.

"Offo tum bade ziddi ho." Said Sanjana making faces. "Thik hai mat karo dance. Toh hum bula lete dulhe ki chhoti behen Sheh...."

Before she could complete, Sana said, "I'm also not feeling like dancing."

"Yaar har koi aise maana karoge toh kaise chalega? Sangeet hai aaj." Said Sanjana.

Jay thought for a while and said, "Sanjana I think agar yeh dono dance nahi karna chahte hai toh rehne dete hai. Dono singers hai. Kyu na ek chhota sa singing battle hi ho jaaye?"

"Good idea." Said Sanjana smiling.

"Lekin..."

Before they could say anything, Sanjana took both Sid and Sana to the stage.

"No more excuses. Ab toh ek singing battle hoke rahegi. Ladke walo ki taraf se Shehnaaz vs ladki walo ki taraf se Sidharth. Come on guys!"

Saying that, Sanjana left the stage while Sid and Sana kept standing there.

After sometime, the music started playing.

Sid started singing looking at everyone.

Sana remembered the time when she didn't use to believe in love but eventually fell in love with Sid and it made her life beautiful. She kept singing thinking it.

Sid gave a sarcastic smile remembering how love destroyed him and left him broken. Because of which he lost faith in love.

Sana nodded her head negatively and sang looking at Sid.

Sid too sang looking at her.

Sana sang remembering the moments they spent together.

Sid sang remembering the moments when he suffered without her.

Sana again looked at others and sang the next lines.

Sid immediately sang pointing towards them.

Sana kept singing while Sanjana was looking at both of them with a smile on her face. After hearing them singing together, an idea came to her mind.

Their singing battle ended and everyone clapped.

Now it was time for the bride and groom's performance. Jay and Mahi came to the stage.

"Aaj ka performance specially meri Mahi ke liye." Said Jay looking at Mahi with love to which she blushed while everyone made an aww face.

The spotlight fell on them and the music started playing.

Jay and Mahi held each other's hands and started moving their bodies in rhythm.

Ho fikar mera

While watching Jay and Mahi's dance, Sid and Sana's eyes met.

It was strange that this time they couldn't take their eyes off and kept looking at each other. Both of their hearts skipped a beat as they could feel the spark which was still left between them.

Jay did the lip sync looking at his lady love while dancing with her.

Sanjana, who was standing beside Sid, slowly held his hand and looked at him with love. While Sid's eyes were still fixed at Sana which Sanjana couldn't realise.

Tears rolled down Sana's cheeks seeing them holding hands. Meanwhile a lone tear escaped Sid's eyes when he realised that no matter how much he tries, he would never be able to replace Sana even if he gets married to someone else.

Jay and Mahi's dance continued while Sid and Sana kept standing being lost in each other. Smiles came to their faces remembering how happy they were with each other. They were each other's happiness, peace, first love. They were everything to each other.

Hai sukoon inme

They both were complete when they were together. And now after getting separated, they both were feeling incomplete as they were nothing without each other.

Sid suddenly freed his hand from Sanjana and started walking towards Sana leaving everyone shocked. Now he couldn't wait anymore and wanted to claim her as his in front of everyone.

Sid went to Sana and pulled her by her waist and looked deep into her eyes.

They both smiled at each other with teary eyes and joined their foreheads feeling blessed.

Jay swirled Mahi around and then bent her down. Sid's daydream broke suddenly and he realised that nothing happened like this. Sana was still standing far from him.

Sid then actually freed his hand from Sanjana and left from there wiping his tears. Both Sana and Sanjana kept looking at his retreating figure.

Sid came to the balcony and started crying silently.

Sid was feeling very empty right then. In these 7 years he suppressed all his pain and emotions in his heart. Even after seeing her, he tried to supress it in his heart. But now it was not possible for him anymore. Tears were continuously flowing from his eyes and now they were unstoppable.

Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder. Without realising who it was, he turned and hugged that person tightly.

Sanjana was taken aback at this sudden hug. But then she slowly hugged him back to console him.

Sana was also coming there following Sid but froze at her place seeing them hugging. She felt that her world stopped. She shouldn't have felt this way as he was not hers anymore. But still she felt hurt, broken, shattered and above all, she felt replaced by another woman.
