So, this the last update from my side for the fanfiction-' Pyaar Dosti Hai'
I had a great time writing and hope that you all enjoyed it. But please forgive me, if I made any mistake.

Soon all the friends returned from Goa. All had enjoyed the trip except for Neil ofcourse. Dev and Sonakshi were happy in their own world and their friends were happy for them. Meanwhile, Dev clarified some details with Sonakshi and came to the conclusion that Neil did all this deliberately. He was furious and wanted to beat him but his Pari stopped him by saying that they were together at last and that is what matters. She finally succeded in convincing him but Dev gave a warning to Neil to stay out of his and Pari's life. Neil, by now had understood that the love birds can't be separated at any cost. To avoid any trouble from Dev, he changed his college too. Meanwhile Rahul and Riya also started developing feelings for each other but were not able to disclose their feelings. Dev and Sonakshi decided to help their close friends in their love story. Finally, after a lot of persuasion, they confessed to each other. Arnav also found his life partner in Ananya who had just joined their college. It was love at first sight for him.

After some days, Devakshi revealed about their relationship to Ishwari and Raghuwar. They were very happy as they had always treated Sonakshi as their daughter and secretly wished her to be their daughter- in law.

After completing their studies, Both Dev and Sonakshi joined Dixit Enterprises. They were not in a hurry to get married as both of them wanted to give full attention to their professional lives as well. However, Raghuwar and Ishwari persuaded them to atleast get engaged. Dev and Sonakshi immediately agreed and engagement was held with great pomp.

Dev and Sonakshi together took the Dixit Enterprises to a new level of success. They were determined, hardworking, focussed and passionate about their work.

But, Dev being Dev left no oppurtunity to romance with Sonakshi even in the office. Here is one such day-

(Dev's Cabin)

Dev: "Aaj phir se late.Kabhi to jaldi ajaya karo "

Sonakshi: "Accha ji.I am so sorry. Main kya karoon, roz mujhe kisi ko uthana padta hai aur unke romance ko sehna padta hai. Ab main kya karoon, tumhi batao?? "

Dev: "Theek hai theek hai Pari, lekin phir bhi..."

Sonakshi glares at him.

Dev: "Accha baba, meri galti hai, lekin..."

Sonakshi: "Uffo Prince ab choro bhi naa, kya aik baat key peechey par jaatey ho. Accha batao aisi kaun si baat thi ki tumhe mere aaney ki itni jaldi thi?"

Dev: "Bata doon?? "

Sonakshi: "Sure! Kyun...koi badi problem hai kya??"

Dev: "Bohot badi problem hai...problem yeh hai ki main Dad se tumhari wajah se do baar daant kha chuka hun."

Sonakshi: "Maine kya kiya??"

Dev: "Pari, tum mere yaad mein, baaki sab kuch bhul jaati ho kya?? Mr. Mehra ki deal wali file tumhaare paas thi na, aur tumne mujhe woh nahiin di kyonki tum office late aayi ho."

Sonakshi: "Oh! I am very sorry. Lekin kya tum apni best friend ke liye, Dad se daant bhi nahiin kha sakte??"

Dev: "Sirf Best Friend???? "

Sonakshi blushes andd shies away: "Prince... tum kabhi nahi sudhro gay. Atleast office main to aisi baatein mat kiya karo."

Dev: "Kyun office main kyun nahi ??"

Sonakshi: "Kisi ne sun liya toh... ???"

Dev: "Toh kya...yeh mera Cabin hai...aur Dev Dixit ke cabin mein...bina permission...koi bhi...enter nahi hota...koi bhi nahiii "

With every word, he was taking a step towards Sonakshi and Sonakshi was moving backwards till her back came to touch the wall. Dev was about to kiss her when Raghuwar Dixit entered his Cabin.

Raghuwar: "Arey yeh tum log...Dev yeh sab kya ho raha hai? "

Dev: "Nahin Dad...woh...woh..han woh actually Pari paglon jaisi baatein kar rahi thi aur ussey chakar aa rahe the...toh main ussey jhinjhor raha tha taki woh hosh main aaye."

Sonakshi: "Kya? main hosh mein nahi thi?? "

Dev: "Dekha dad abhi bhi hosh mein nahi hai. Issey kuch yaad nahi aa raha hai"

Raghuwar ( worriedly): "Beta, main Doctor ko bulaon??"

Sonakshi- "Nahiin Dad...I am better now" ( glaring at Dev)

Raguwar- "Pakka??" (Still not convinced)

Sonakshi- "Yes dad "(smiles at him)

Raghuwar- "Acha Acha theek hai. Sonakshi beta, tum woh quotations wali file mere cabin main le kar aao. Mujhe uss baare main baat karni hai."

Sonakshi: "Yes Dad, Main aati hun. Pehle Dev ke saath aaj ki meeting ke baare mein discuss karna hai. Uske baad main aapke cabin mein aati hun."

Raghuwar: "Theek hai...aur agar tabiyat kuch ziyada hi kharab ho to dawayi ley lena..."(he leaves with a smile )

Sonakshi turns towards Dev and says: "Dekha kaha tha na maine ki koi dekh lega"

Dev: "Dekh bhi liya toh kya...aakhir tum meri fiance ho"

Sonakshi- "Toh kya hua...?? Acha tumhe yaad haina ki kal hume Delhi jaana hai Chopras ki deal finalise karne ke liye."

Dev: "Haan haan baba yaad hai. Ab tum jao Dad wait kar rahe honge. "

Sonakshi: "Jaoon...???" (she says witha huge smile)

Dev: "Nahiin pehle aik..." (he gives a quick peck on her lips and then lets her go)

Sonakshi: "See you"

Dev: "Love you. Bye "

This way, two years passed away. Now both Dev Dixit and Sonakshi Bose were well known in their field for their extraordinary work. They had together made Dixit Enterprises feature in the top three list of industries. Raghuwar and Ishwari were pleased and proud of them. But, now they wanted their kids to marry and settle down. So, finally Dev and Sonakshi were married in a grand affair with the blessings of their parents and good wishes of their friends. And thus started the journey of their happy married life.

After 6 years...

(Dixit Mansion)

Dev stops his car near Dixit mansion and goes to his room, which is upstairs.

(Dev's room)

He opens the door and sees that a small girl is standing in front of him, with her hand on her hips. She is none other than Sneha, Dev and Sonakshi's 4 year old daughter.

Sneha: "PAPAAA...aaj phir se late... "

Dev: "ooopppsss... "

He keeps his briefcase down and sits on his knees to match his height with Sneha.

Dev: "Sorry beta...aaj late ho gaya...office main kaam bohot tha."

Sneha: "Paaapaaa...roz naye bahanay to bana lia karo..wohi aik ghisa pitta sa bahana... "

Dev smiles

Sneha: "Hansiye matt aur fine nikalye."

Dev: "Fine??"

Sneha: "Haan baba...yaad nahi aapko...rozana office se late aanay ka fine...aik chocolate..."

Dev: "Oh haan haan...i remember... "

He takes out a huge Dairy milk from his coat and gives it to her.Sneha smiles and hugs Dev. Dev stands up while holding Sneha...

Sneha opens the chocolate and starts eating. When suddenly a voice is heard.

Sonakshi: "Snehaaa..."

Dev and Sneha look at each ther...with raised eyebrows...as if saying here comes trouble.

Sonakshi emerges from the dressing room.

Sonakshi: "Sneha... kahan ho tum??...Arre Prince...tum agaye??"

Dev: "Haan Pari, main abhi aya. Aaj office mein bohot kaam tha."

Sonakshi: "Oh!!."

She then sees a chocolate in Sneha's hand.

Sonakshi: "Prince...tumne phir se Sneha ko chocolate de di??"

When suddenly their coversation was interrupted by Ishwari's voice from downstairs.

Ishwari: "Sneha beta"

Sneha: "Aayi Dadi "( And she runs downstairs with her chocolate)

Sonakshi: "Prince, tum na Sneha ko bigad rahe ho. Roz roz usko chocolate dete rehte ho. Aise koi karta hai kya??"

Dev: ( with a glint of naughtiness in his eyes)
(Pulls her by her waist) "Aisa hai toh, tab toh main tumhe bhi bigaadta hun."

Sonakshi: "Prince, jhoot mat bolo. Tumne mujhe kab bigaada??"

Dev: "Arre, Main humesha tumko chocolate deta tha jab bhi tum mujhse naraaz hoti thi."

Sonakshi: "Exactly. Dete the. Dete ho nahiin."

Dev: "Ab tum mujhse naraaz bhi toh nahiin hoti." (pulls her even more closer)

Sonakshi: "Main tumse abhi bhi naraaz hun. Meri chocolate kahaan hai??? Mujhe pata hai Prince, nahiin hogi tumhaare paas. Ab tum mujhe pehle ke jaise pyaar-" ( She was cut in between as Dev took her hand and placed a chocolate on it)

Seeing it, Sonakshi squealed in delight, her reaction similar to that of Sneha's. She freed herself from Dev's grip and started opening the chocolate wrapper.

Dev smiled seeing this. His Pari was so cute and innocent. He hugged her from back.

Dev: "Pari"

Sonakshi: "Hmm..."

Dev: "Phir kabhi mat kehna ki main tumse pyaar nahiin karta. Main tumse kitna pyaar karta hun, main khud bhi nahiin jaanta."

Sonakshi: "Hmmm..."( still eating the chocolate)

Dev: "Waise, mera return gift kahaan hain??"

Sonakshi: "Return gift??"

Dev: "Ab maine tumhe chocolate di toh, mujhe bhi return gift milna chahiye na..."

Sonakshi: " Theek hai. Kya chahiye tumhe??"

Dev: "Bataa dun??" ( He turns her and comes closer to her)

Sonakshi: ( She now understands what Dev meant) "Prince, hato...koi aur kaam nahiin hai kya tumhe??"

Dev: "Bilkul nahiin hain"

When suddenly, Sneha enters the room. They both get startled and move away from each other.

Sneha: " Mumma, Papa. Dadi aap donon ko dinner ke liye neeche bula rahiin hain. Jaldi chalo."

Sonakshi: "Haan beta hum aa rahe hain."

Sneha: " Ok. Jaldi aana" (She goes)

Sonakshi starts going when Dev stops her by holding her wrist.

Dev: " Mera return gift??"

Sonakshi: " Kuch nahiin milega tumhe. Chalo chup chap dinner karne"

Dev: "Pari, mujhe toh return gift chahiye."( He starts coming closer to her)

Sonakshi moves backwards untill she touches the wall. Dev is very close to her. He keeps his hands on both the sides of the wall. Now there is no way for her to escape.

Sonakshi: " Prince, ...Mom ...hum donon ko... dinner ke liye neeche bula rahiin hain."

Dev: "Toh??" ( leans towards her)

Sonakshi: " Toh...humme...neeche... jaana hoga" (nervously)

Dev: " Mujhe nahiin jaana hain"

Sonakshi: " Toh...Mom upar aajayeingi"

Ishwari: ( From downstairs) "Sona, Dev"

Dev closes his eyes in frustation and Sonakshi giggles. Dev removes his hands from the wall.

Dev: "We will continue after dinner" ( He winks at sonakshi)

Sonakshi blushes and pushes him and runs downstairs.

(Dining Hall)

Raghuwar, Ishwari and Sneha are already waiting for them at the dining table. Sonakshi joins them and after a few minutes, Dev too comes. Everyone eats their dinner, laughing, joking with each other.

Sonakshi looked at her happy family and smiled. She recalled how she had come into this house after her parents death when she was only six years old and how she got all her relations from here. Raghuwar and Ishwari loved her like their own daughter and Sneha was the apple of her eye. She was the most precious gift, she could ever receive from nature. She looked towards Dev. He was her best friend, her love, her husband, father of her child, her life, her everything. She can't even think of her life wihout him. Thinking about her lovely family, her eyes were filled with tears. She was grateful to God for giving her such a loving family. She silently prayed to always keep them toghether and happy. Dev too looked at her and immediately understood what she was thinking. He kept his hand on hers and conveyed through his eyes, that he is always there for her no matter what.
