HAPPY THAT I COULD DIE RIGHT NOW!!!

I am on an "almost-date" with the one and only... YAMI SENNEN!!

The reason why I called it an "almost-date" is that it is a DATE even though it isn't a DATE because I don't think he actually meant it asking me out... or was he really serious?

I was in the library, too happy to even think, eat and write (well not really but you know what I mean)! Then this girl walked over to me,

'Hey have you heard?' she asked, 'Tea is demanding to cancel the Homecoming Dance on friday.'

I gasped and fell from my chair, though I didn't hit my head first. I hit my back. Life these days, they just never listen.

I'm still at the library, writing the paragraphs above this sentence I am writing right now. Yami was coming in and for some reason... I didn't know that guy likes to read books. I mean, yeah but I'm not calling it weird whatsoever, it is just... unexpected.

I eyed him closely and carefully, which I didn't know why I did, I know, I know, Yami is my crush and that OF COURSE I "eye" him... but since I am not a naughty boy I only "eye" his face.

No, not like COMPLETELY EYE him! That would be gross!

But anyways, back to the topic. Once he saw me, he hesitated like he was nervous or something and finally (yes, finally) got the courage to walk up to me.

'So, uh, hey Yugi, wassup?' I was surprised that he started talking to me, even though for the past few 36 hours he hasn't been talking to me since he asked me "out." He actually tried to avoid me, but what was never avoided was his smile and his stares.

'Ah, nothing much.' I looked up from my notebook since I got my nose stuck in it. 'I'm apparently just here all by myself and writing in this... Thing.'

I closed my Notebook and waved it for a little bit in the air. He chuckled and leaned against the wall, folded his arms and smiled at me.

If looks could kill. Blame Yami, he kills a lot of people with it.

'That's too bad, Aibou,' he says "sweetly" and that naughty smirk, 'Your friends were searching EVERYWHERE for you. Joey even came up and yelled DIRECTLY at my face!'

I guess he was TRYING to cheer me up, it did... a little. I mean, Joey's like that he can be very overprotective and well, out there. Not as "out there" as Marik, he's WAY "out there" to be honest.

'Besides, aren't you and Tea going to be with each other, dancing on Friday Night. Maybe Tea or Anzu might have a LANDSLIDE of a chance to be the Homecoming Queen.' I threw my head back and did a fake laugh to hide my tardiness. Yami struck a confused face,

'Tea? Who SAYS I was going with Tea?' My insides flinched,

'Uh...ahh... Everybody.' I managed to say as Yami's eyebrow perched up with his confused face.

'Oh well, everybody is wrong then.' Yami said with a shrug.

I widened my eyes. OMR! Did he just say that he ISN'T going with Tea! WHAT?! How could he NOT be going with Tea?

'Well, somebody's gotta tell her that.' I answered, 'She already has your... hmm, "costumes" picked out' I made quote signs at "costumes."

Yami then stared out of the window as if our ENTIRE conversation has already bored him out of his mind. 'I did. She asked me to take her-' From there he looked to the ground and did a fake little kick of the ground, '-and I said no.'

'You told Tea, NO?!' I said, trying not to act surprised at the whole thing.

How could he say "no" to Tea, NOBODY and I mean, NOBODY says "no" to Tea... EVER!

'Then she became really annoyed and announced that she'll cancel the whole thing.' he said, looking really irrigated and frustrated.

'Ok, so wait a sec! Are you serious? Tea said she'll cancel the Dance for the school because...' I cleared my throat before saying this, '...you said NO and won't, like, give in unless you AGREE to be her date?'

'Yeah, something like that but Aibou, that isn't the reason.' wait, it ISN'T?!

'So, what IS the reason?' I asked, then he started hesitating,

'B-Because I already have someone in mind OK?' Then I decided to change the subject.

'But still. How could she?! That is just... CRAZY!' Yami just chuckled and rolled his eyes,

'I guess she made a gigantic fit in front of everyone right?' Yami's smile grew more radiant and I couldn't help but smile as well.

But in the inside I wasn't smiling. What have I just gotten myself into? Some sort of a LOVE TRIANGLE between Me, Yami and Tea. Dang, I have never been in a Love Triangle before. Let's just make sure Hathor is happy today.

Then Yami's face darkened, his smile melted into a frown and a shadow passed by his face, making me shudder. As much as Yami can be good looking, he can pull of creepy looks as well.

'Aibou, if the dance is canceled, SHE wins...' he then walked over to me, took a seat next to me and placed his hands on top of mine, while I am here to suffer trying to hide my blush. '...and if she does, we won't be able to talk to each other... EVER!'

As he finished, I shuddered, I could tell he was sad. Trying to hold back tears is even more harder than holding back blushes, trust me, I experience them a lot.

I could also tell he didn't want to look weak in front of me.

Then he rolled his eyes and lightly face-plamed,'Man, I can be such a doofus, right Yugi?'

'I couldn't agree less.' I answered as he smiled again,

'I nearly forgot what I came here for.' I raised an eyebrow,

'You did?' he nodded solemnly,

'You remember on Monday me asking you to go with me to Burger World right?' he asked, making me repeatedly send flashbacks about that day.

I nodded, 'Y-Yes... why?' he smirked,

'I was actually going to tell you that I was serious about that.' WHAT?! Did he just say what I THINK he said?

'Y-You were serious?' I tried not to act nonchalant about the whole thing, but in the inside I was like,

I'M GOING ON A DATE WITH THE YAMI SENNEN!! A REAL ACTUAL DATE!!!!

'Yeah, I was. If I wasn't I wouldn't be talking to you here right now. I am actually wanting to remind you that I'll be seeing you after school and get changed into different clothes other than the school uniform, ok?' I smiled and nodded.

I repeat! I'M GOING ON A DATE WITH THE YAMI SENNEN!! A REAL ACTUAL DATE!!!! I REPEAT A BILLION ZILLION TIMES!!! The world is ENDING! Yami asked me out and he's SERIOUS!

SERIOUS! Now I found myself smiling non-stop.

'Oh... um, yeah, sure and thanks for, you know, clarifying that you are serious and yeah,' Dang, my nervousness is kicking in, but my smile isn't fading.

'Oh problem Aibou, see you. In History annnnnd the other classes.' he reminded as I nodded in agreement as he turned to walk to the library door.

I CANNOT stop staring at him and you can't make me stop, as he reached the door I didn't know if I needed a reality check or not because guess what?

He WINKED at ME!!! Like LITERALLY!! I didn't know if my eyes were faking it all or it was really reality.

'Text me when your already there,' He reminded, again.

'Alright.' I said cheerfully as he smiled and walked out of the library.

As he was no longer at sight, I slid my hands across the desk and laid my head on it and sighed, life can be this cruel sometimes. Why is that a thing anyways? With the most hottest, good-looking, the most AMAZING and one of the most popular guys asking a small, weak, defenceless and innocent kid like me? Out on a REAL and SERIOUS date?! From there I started doing my Secret Happy Dance.

As they all say, time leaps past when your having fun. What if you were daydreaming about the one you have a crush on? Does that count? Maybe, I dunno.

Anyways, Heba was observing me as usual, he was eyeing my smile for quite a while,

'So, who is Mr. Smiley, Smiling about?' he cooed as I rolled my eyes and changed into my usual leather outfit.

'Just going out Heba, nothing too important.' I replied, his mouth turning into a big wide grin, he reminds you about that Alice in Wonderland character? Cheshire Cat.

'Are you SURE Yugi?' he smirked, no Heba by reading his face I could tell that he want EVERY SINGLE juicy detail.

'Maybe,' I emphasised, 'I'll tell you when I get back ok?' I straightened my shirt and buckled my belts together.

'PROMISE?!' He asked jumping from his bunk and putting his pinkie up, I chuckled, it was a signal. I wrapped my pinkie around his and giggled,

'I promise.' I promised, as he smiled,

'Tell me EVERYTHING on your date alright?' he demanded, but in a good way, 'try to call me when you are in danger, I'm almost finished with that teleporting machine...'

'Alright' My face brightened, 'But make sure your "teleporting machine" really works.'

'I don't really have one!' Heba admitted, 'Yugi, you know that! I mean it would take YEARS to build one!'

'I know, Heba, now I'll be gone now. Bye!' I turned to walk away,

'Enjoy your date with Yami!' he cooed/yelled, I turned to glare for a while after shutting the Game Shop door and walking to Burger World.
