(This book used to be called Chained but I changed the name when I rewrote it)

first off: credit for the gorgeous cover goes to mikaelsonslxt i am so in love with it, it's amazing!!!!

It has a mildly confusing relationship between Derek and the main character, but will have little to none bad arguments in their relationship, along with the fact that there will be no smut.

This book will be based from Season 2-Season 6a

(But will skip Season 3a)

S U M M A R Y

Meeting Alexandra Stilinski is like having a puzzle and trying to put it together without the picture, and just when you think it's done, there's a piece missing. You see the puzzle put before you, but you can't tell exactly what it is without that last missing piece. Slowly the more you get to know her, the more pieces go missing, until all you have is a jumble of puzzle pieces and an interesting girl with more secrets than ideas.

Derek Hale was never one to give up, so when he meets Alex, he finds himself drawn into her world, intent on putting her together and figuring out who exactly the girl was. She was a riddle delivered to him by a sphinx, and he was intent on solving it.

W A R N I N G S

1. Extremely cheesy relationship

2. Cussing, lots of cussing

3. Gore, torture, blood

4. A character that gets in near-death situations wayyyyy too much

5. Lack of smut (sorry!)

6. Weird friendships

7. Lots of flirting

8. A slowburn romance (at the same time it's really fast), even though they have way more sexual tension than is probably legal (because of constitutional rape laws)

9. Two cross-overs from my other books, but you don't have to read it to understand

Less a warning more just a what I'm going to be doing with this book; in my other book, Birds of a Feather (A Klaus Mikaelson Love Story), Roxanne has powers and she and Alexandra are the same species. I don't get much into Roxie's powers other than a little bit into future visions, and Alex is a young version of what Rox is, so I'm going to be playing around ALOT more with her capabilities, and definitely you're going to see some things that are pretty OP, but I created the species and obviously she's going to have limits, but at the moment I have yet to really figure out those limits, so her powers are mildly messy.
