Now What

Yugi and Tess rode the road like good little riders. Do not need anymore trouble from the police. Yugi sighed they were very lucky she managed to make that work.

They just drove around with no place to go. They have no need to be anywhere.

Finally their ride took them to a view point. One of Yugi's favorites of the ones that existed. At least this one still did. Parking the two went to look off at the view it offered.

Tess leaned on the railing wondering with Yugi behind her.

===================

Martha stood at the door frame to the building. The girls did not come back. Going back inside she sighed. There was not much she could do. Plus they are old enough they can take care of themselves. Though the air around Anzy feels so familiar.

==================

The two watched the sun set behind the city. "What now?" Tess asked still leaning in on the railing.

"I don't know. Though, we should try to find the others first." Yugi walked up next to Tess and leaned on the railing as well.

"Where are they?"

"I don't know." Silence held between the two as the sun sat to make way for the night. Yugi was the first to leave the railing and headed back to the motorcycle. "Where are you going?" Turning away from the railing to look at her friend. "Martha's."

"Why?"

"That is the only place we can call home."

"They will find us sooner or later." Yugi looked at Tess. She knew the girl was right. If they went back it would only be a mater of time before the officals caught on. "Then let us say good bye to little Miss Martha."

"That is Martha?" Yugi nodded at her friend's exclamation as she neared her motorcycle. The brunette followed suit and got on hers.

===================

Night fell and Martha waited for the girls to return. She got up and went to the door. She had a feeling someone was there to see her.

To her surprise it was Anzy and Tess. The aura around them told her they were going to leave. She knew it was time to leave. Yet, something inside of her wanted them to stay.

Anzy gave her a soft smile; as her long golden bangs swayed slightly in front of her face. Martha's face showed many emotions in two seconds. From confused to shocked, happy then sad. Tears of joy started to flow as her sadness turned to glee.

Anzy met the older in the middle. A soft apologetic smile laid on her lips. "Is it really you?" Martha reached out fearful to touch her. The younger grabbed her hand and placed it on her face.

"Yes, it is. I am sorry for the pain I have put you all through."

By now the older hugged her long ago friend, sister, and mentor.

"No, do not apologize. The war that I and many lost their abilities would have been even greater."

"What?" Yugi pulled away slightly from their embrace to see Martha's face clearly.

"With you gone the Hunters attempted to capture us all. That lead to a dueling war. Something every similar to battle city. Only on a grander scale. It has left many of us, unable to have the ability to summon. Or even hold a card."

"Martha."

"Thank you, Yugi you have taught us how to keep on going." Yugi became speechless. She did not think that she did that much. She only feels like she made it worse. Yugi only smiled full of apology and left her side altogether.

"Now I can tell you goodbye."

"Fare well." The tri-color girl nodded and went to her bike.

That was the last Yugi ever saw of the little girl she taught and protected. Yugi's life ended again before being able to see her one last time.
